Hello I ran into a compatibility issue with my first pc build where it is saying I need a USB 3.2 Gen 2 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 header. I have an Asus TUF X570 wifi Ryzen 7 5800x The biggest problem i am experiencing first is the Kraken X73 will not work or light up at all in anyway, i have no idea why, I have watched videos and plugged it in multiple times exactly as instructed and the screen will not light up, show up in cam, or register in the bios at all. It is in a 011 dynamic xl case 2nd Question - Should i be concerned with applying thermal past too many times. The tubes on the pump have been pushing on the RAM so i had to remove rotate and replace the paste, is that ok? Am i going to ruin the chip by replacing and removing thermal paste - Rookie question. Lastly - I have 9 corsair ql fans completely wired and running quite awesomely, but when i turn the system on the first thing i see is "Cpu fan error" Any and all help with these few issues would be greatly appreciated, I had high hopes for this first build and feel a little defeated. Hi everyone! Im in search for a motherboard that will go perfectly with my Ryzen 9 3900X build. I took a look at the TUF Gaming X570-PLUS WIFI motherboard, but tbh I don’t know nothing about motherboards so I’m looking for the best fit. I’m looking to spend up to $250 on it (if necessary). Im not in a hurry to build but have been debating on building for almost a year but my laptop keeps working so not in a huge rush. I think i want an ITX but if i save money with a microatx im fine with that as well I play COD deep rock galactic and league of legends mostly

Is this a good build for workstation uses and light gaming?

I am going to be selling my laptop in a couple of months to upgrade to a desktop. I'm not sure if this build is overboard and I wanted to get some opinions on it. 1.) Budget & Currency My currency is USD. My budget is around $1000 (1500 on the high end but lower the better), since that looks like around the price I will be able to sell my laptop for. I would really like to get my current list down in price more. 2.) Aim I am just planning to use this PC for gaming. I want a general gaming PC that will be able to comfortably handle whatever game I throw at it. Mostly games such as Destiny and e-sport titles to play with friends, and single player games thrown in there. I am not going to have access to a wired connection so wireless networking is a must. I am planning to upgrade this PC a lot in the future, so I just need a good starting ground right now. I went with x570 since I will be upgrading in the future and will like something that will last me for a while. 3.) Monitors Just one monitor for right now. I would like 144hz. I know the monitor I have on here is a freesync monitor, I'm debating if I should go with a 5700XT and freesync since it seems to be cheaper than saving some money on the 1660Ti but having to spend more on a g-sync monitor. Thoughts on this? 4.) Peripherals I already have a G602 mouse so I only need a keyboard 5.) Why am I upgrading? Im looking for a motherboard for my Ryzen 9 3900X build. It will be revolving around Pro Tools, Ableton and some gaming. I have no prior knowledge with MOBO'S, so I need some guidance on what to be aware of when buying it. I already choosed some components, but what im really concerned about is the connections for RAM expansion (at least 128gb) and external and internal SSD'S (ATLEAST 2TB). If somebody could point me in the right direction on like a buying guide for MOBOS I would thank you forever. ATX ONLY!!!
