Budget (including currency): 350GBP Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: BeamNG Drive, Medium graphics wanting 60ish fps 1080p Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Case MUST be under 33cm tall because of my desk, upgrading from 2012 iMac, 3.2ghz i5-3470, 24GB RAM. will build in about a weeks time, but can start buying parts now, will get GPU from ebay or FB marketplace, as new GPUs are way out of my price range, already have all peripherals, want to run 2 monitors, min of 16gb ram, thinking AM4 maybe 5600g, need wifi,

How do I connect to the Wi-Fi without using an Ethernet cable? I plugged in an antenna, but it isn’t connecting.
-
These have to go all the way in, right? They haven’t gone in all the way and I have tried a few times to push them in. I have been pushing pretty hard and I’m worried that I may damage something.

I have a crucial p3 2tb ssd and I put it in the m2b slot of the gigabyte x ax b650 am5. Should I move it to the m.2 slot? Also I have windows 10 installed, will anything happen with it?
-
I jumpstarted the pc but there is a red light on the boot spot on the mono and I think (if it isn’t the lack of an OS) it might be the ssd. The name of my ssd looks like it might be in the m2b spot (I got the crucial p3 2tb). Does this mean that the ssd is the problem? How can I tell if it is faulty, installed incorrectly or in the wrong place? Or is the os the problem since I have installed it yet?
-
Is jumpstarting safe? To turn the pc off, should I use the switch on the psu? Will it damage the parts? If I do jumpstart it, do I put the screwdriver in between the two pins I circled? Will these screwdrivers work?

My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wVcZKX I mainly want to use this PC for gaming. The PC I have now can't handle anything, so I wanted a big upgrade. I already ordered the parts (besides the monitor). Are there any major problems that are worth stressing about? For the monitor, should I get the GIGABYTE GS27Q or the MSI G272QPF (or are there any better alternatives)? I have already spent around 1500 USD and don't want to spend too much more (I want the monitor to be 1440p and around 120hz or 144hz). Budget (including currency): £1500 Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, F1, Dead by Daylight, War Thunder, Football Manager, mainly will be used for gaming but would also be used for any entertainment Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/t4pj7R - just wondering if this is worth the upgrade from my current build which is: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Ynpj7R - I have no idea what the psu or cpu cooler is as this was a medion pre-built I bought back in 2021 (also 1 of the ram sticks is an unknown brand so I just put 2x patriot 8gb as that is what my 2nd ram stick is (oh and also, the ssds isn't all correct the 1tb kingston ssd is actually foresee, the 500gb kingston is too fast for my current pc anyway lol)) I would like to start buying my parts within the next few months and hopefully, fingers crossed, have it all set up and ready to work sometime July or earlier The cpu cooler is probably (most definitely) overkill so it's one of the reasons I'm posting in here to hear out better recommendations I would also prefer to stick to white coloured stuff - however I'm happy to also go for some black in it. The RGB fans will probably be set to purple, if I have that control on them, as that is the main colour of my setup Do note: I work at Argos so the gpu and the case in the new build can be bought at a 10%, 15 if it's payday, discount The Medion pre-built is: Medion Akoya P66094

Budget (including currency): 1.5k -2k AUD: Approx 1.8k - Only would do 2k if really had to but not that comfortable with the idea Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, 3D Modelling I'm struggling to find the best type of motherboard with wifi/adapter that is more on the budget side because I'm not sure how the motherboards without the wifi adapter work. This was my original plan but with peripherals it's starting to get too expensive however I need to keep the i7 Intel or something with equal performance. Here's what I originally planned but the motherboard does not have a wifi antenna: Any suggestions that make the build cheaper and more proficient will be greatly appreciated. CPU: Intel Core i7-12700KF 3.6 GHz 12-Core Processor ($354.62 @ Amazon Australia) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler ($50.00 @ Scorptec) Motherboard: Gigabyte Z690M Aorus Elite DDR4 Motherboard ($229.00 @ PCCaseGear) -- Still need antenna or something - to make it easier would rather wifi adapter included. Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory ($78.00 @ Centre Com) Storage: Lexar NM790 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($95.00 @ BPC Technology) Video Card: PowerColor Fighter Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB Video Card ($490.70 @ Amazon Australia) Case: Montech AIR 100 ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($99.00 @ PCCaseGear) Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($145.00 @ Centre Com) Mouse: Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Optical Mouse Monitor: Acer Nitro ED270UP2 27" Curved QHD FreeSync Premium 170Hz 1MS VA W-LED Gaming Monitor ($199 @ PLEComputers) Total: $1760.32 ---> Antenna would need to be added, keyboard and mouse pad + ALL SHIPPING COSTS

Budget (including currency): 1,500$ and under Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Basic gaming like fornite, R6S, CS2, COD and much more Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm upgrading from an 8-year-old dead battery Acer Laptop Predator 17, with An Intel-Core i7 -6700HQ and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX980M GDDR5 this build is for entry level gaming because I'm fairly new to the PC community itself, but this build may be scrapped if I can get to fix the battery on the laptop because looking at the prices of everything, they seem expensive. I already have my other items like my mouse and but I'm still looking for a decent keyboard that sounds like a laptop keyboard (laptop professionals please don't end my life over preference). I've went to pcpartpicker to prepare myself if I can't resurrect the damn battery and this is what I've chosen, PC build CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 GPU: Geforce 3060 ti Memory: Corsair Vengance 32 GB CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition 57.3 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard:Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard Case:Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case Monitor: Asus TUF Gaming 1920 x 1080 Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (Also, the SSD will come from the Acer Predator) I've fully checked everything but I'm concerned about these notes right here. A Note: The Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition 57.3 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard. B Disclaimer: Some physical dimension constraints are currently not checked, such as CPU coolers and RAM clearance. and since I don't know anything about PC's I can't decipher what these say And that's pretty much it, if you can give out any suggestions or anything it'll be very grateful, I'm also down to downgrade or upgrade anything if it were overkill. also, any information you can give me will be very helpful since I'm a PC newbie, I'll maybe do more builds in the future if this one breaks down or come back here again if I were to upgrade. Thanks to anyone that replies. (also what the hell does it mean when a motherboard has Wi-Fi??? do I need to get something special for that??)

Budget (including currency): $2000 USD (not strict) Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Esports-focused gaming (CS2, Valorant) as well as light content creation/streaming Other details: No peripherals needed, 144hz+, planning to buy before end of November Just put this parts list (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZJCWfy) together after a few days of research. Never built a PC before but a lot of the deals this season seem really solid and I didn't want to wait much longer to upgrade. Any advice on potential problems/budget alternatives I should consider would be greatly appreciated!

Hello I'm an 14 year old who will make his first PC in December. Just like any other person I want the best PC I can have ,but learning from Youtube and the internet is a bit difficult and I only know about the specifics of some brands such as NVIDIA and Intel(I don't know anything about AMD(Recommend me AMD and Radeon Alternatives too!)). Anyway, can anyone give me tips or recommend me other parts for my first PC? My budget is 1000 dollars at most. Also i will use my PC for not gaming but editing and lightweight 3d modeling. I also want 4-5 tbs of storage but you can alter that if you want. Finally, I want my PC to be white outside and black inside with a single AIO NZXT that looks white Thank you guys for giving your opinions so here is the pc I made so far: CPU : i5-13600K(or i7-13700K) Cooler: NZXT Kraken X63 98.17 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI MAG B760M MORTAR WIFI Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 Memory Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Samsung 870 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive GPU: Asus TUF GAMING OC Case: Deepcool MACUBE 110 MicroATX Mini Tower Case PSU: Corsair RM850 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (This is a lot above the budget can anyone help me?) Thank You!!! I also want to say that I'm looking for high ram 32 gb of ddr5 if possible. I don't need a really buff gpu. I'll settle for the 1660 nvidia Finally I prefer Mirco atx please!

Location: Poland Budget: 9000 PLN ≈ 2100 USD Aim: I'll be using this PC for: Work - Unity + Rider, multiple browser tabs, sometimes blender (I'm primarily a Unity dev). Gaming - there's a wide range here from Tibia to Elden Ring. Hard to tell what'll be next. Monitors: I'll be using two monitors from the start and most likely add one more later on: 2560 x 1440 27" - primary 1920 x 1080 24" - secondary 1920 x 1080 24" - in the future Why are you upgrading: My laptop is slowly reaching it's end. No point in buying another, better to build a PC. Store link: I'll be buying mostly from this site https://www.morele.net PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Fdph7R Notes: In addition I'll be buying a Thermalright LGA1700-BCF bracket, as I've heard it's worth the investment. Also the motherboard bios will be updated by the store to be compatible with the 14th gen. Cooling Plan: I plan to install the AIO on the roof (exhaust), one AF fan on the back (exhaust) and three on the front (intake). Preferences: I tried to strike a compromise between performace and looks. Went with a lot of corsair components mainly for the esthetics and I already have their mouse and keyboard. What I need: I believe this isn't the worst configuration, but I lack experience and knowledge to actually tell for sure. I need reassurance that it'll work, as this is what I'm most afraid of. I'll happily take any recommendations.

Budget (including currency): preferably under £400, I already own the SSD and Hard Drive from this list so they don't cost me anything. Country: Northern Ireland/UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Terraria, Stardew Valley, Xbox/Xbox360 and Playstation 1/2 emulation, Blender, Unity Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/WZDYJy I already have the 2TB hard drive and 128GB SSD from an older broken PC, but this is my first build, so I have little to no experience picking parts. I have no idea what to look for in a case, so advice on whether cheap is ok would be great. I am less concerned about how well games run and more concerned about Blender and Unity running smoothly as my current laptop runs games fine but really struggles with those. Don't need a keyboard or mouse, will I be able to use a Bluetooth speaker or do I need an adaptor for that?

Budget (including currency): 500 usd for the PC, 150 max for monitor, mouse, and keyboard (including rebates, deals, and discounts) Country: houston, tx, usa Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Lots of web browsing (lots of open tabs), fl studio for music production, valorant, league of legends, genshin impact, and I'll most likely pick up around 2 more aaa games. Other details I'm upgrading from a 2009 toshiba laptop that my dad bought for me off ebay. I need a monitor, mouse, and keyboard (150$ max for these peripherals). I am planning on buying before 2024. I want to play at a minimum of 1080p, 60fps and a 60hz refresh rate for a monitor. I don't have any existing parts. I'm am fine with buying used parts as long as the seller isn't sketchy. I am also ok with buying from eastern markets like aliexpress. I want to capitalize on deals. I want this PC to last me for around 5 years, but I don't really want to future-proof it (I just want it to be workable and playable over that time period, not looking for the best graphics). I don't want apus. I'm not that big on aesthetic, as long as the pc doesn't look horrible. I want a higher quality case with dust filters and fans, but don't want the price to be over 70. I want 16gb ram minimum (2x8). I want the motherboard to have extra ram and SSD slots if I feel like upgrading in the future. I want my mouse and keyboard to be wired.

Budget (including currency): 16 - 17 Million Indonesian Rupiah Country: Indonesia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Elden Ring, Da Vinci Resolve, indie games Other details : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kyT6v3 I couldn't find some parts on PC part picker so I had to use a placeholder item. The items are: KLEVV DDR4 BOLT XR (2x16): I had to split it into 2x8 Digital Alliance GAMING CHASSIS N30 S: Used the Raidmax case as a placeholder Digital Alliance DA KAZE 120 ARGB: Used the Scythe Kaze Flex ARGB as a placeholder Viewsonic VX2780 2K: Used the AOC Q27G2S/D as a placeholder since they are similar in specs and price This is my first PC build coming from an old gaming laptop (MSI GL63 8RC) and I want to make something that is able to run AAA titles with decent FPS at medium quality. I plan to use this to play at 2k 120 FPS, but with some simulations I could find, I'll take 75-100 FPS with demanding games like Elden Ring. I also do some minor video editing here and there but nothing too major. I have a PC list from Tokopedia too alongside the total cost and I could use some help with deciding whether if I should stick with my current CPU and motherboard setup right now or downgrade my CPU to an Intel i3-12100F paired with the MSI Pro B760M-A Wifi so that I'll have a decent upgrade path for the future.
