I've heard that the 3070 is vram bottlenecked, but is the 12gb 4070? If it is, will it still be fine playing really vram intensive games, or is the vram bottleneck bad?

I'm looking for a monitor that's at least 1080p 120hz or preferably 1440p 120hz to replace the "monitor" that's really just a tv that's 1080p 60hz. Is it a good idea to buy used?

Im about to build a pc without a gpu and then once i save up enough put in a gpu. Im considering getting a 1660 super temporarily so that i'll have better performance than the igpu and then selling it when i save up more for a 4070 with only a ~$50 loss. Im just wondering if there's even a market for this gpu used bc i dont wanna end up having to keep it. If there really isn't a market for this gpu, what would be some good trade-in places to at least get some money back if i decide to take this route?

Im planning to build a pc with a 7700x and a 4070, but all this psu stuff is confusing me. I've heard things like psu tier list, "you need an A tier psu for high end pc's," and even different rails that all have different voltages and ive gotten really confused. Im planning to get this psu: https://www.microcenter.com/product/632808/corsair-rmx-series-rm850x-850-watt-80-plus-gold-atx-fully-modular-power-supply for my build

I'm looking to buy a 4070, but im not sure what to buy. On Newegg, the prices are anywhere from $525 to $600 for a new card. What factors cause this price range? Will going for the cheapest one affect my experience? More specifically, I'm going to get this model which is the cheapest: https://www.newegg.com/asus-geforce-rtx-4070-dual-rtx4070-o12g-evo/p/N82E16814126689?Item=N82E16814126689

Im getting a 7700x and a 3080 but im not sure how much i should spend on fans. The ones i was gonna get are 1800 rpm and ill have a total of 4 in my build. Will this be sufficient?

Im on the fence for whether i should i get a used 3080 for ~400-450 USD or a new 4070 for 500-550 USD. Im going to be using a 1080p monitor, but i might upgrade to a 1440p in the future, and im also going to be using a lot of rt. Ive heard that the 4070 and 3080 are pretty much equivalent, but i just want to know some more experienced people's opinions on this: is it worth it to spend the extra 50-100 bucks to have the peace of mind that the gpu iwll be all up to spec and more reliable, or should i snipe a good 3080 deal for less?

I'm planning to build a pc with a ryzen 7 7700x, which has a thermal output of 105 watts, but I don't know what thermal conductivity my thermal paste for it should have. I've already found a 5w/mK thermal paste, but i'm not sure if it'll be sufficient.

Budget (including currency): 1200 USD Country: North America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Iracing, call of duty, minecraft, warzone Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My friend is starting to get intersted in the pc building space. Could any1 recommend me some parts for the games he's gonna play? He doesn't care about rt and instead cares about the best price/peformance. He's going to play mostly minecraft, call of duty, warzone, and iracing. He especially wants good peformance in iracing, which recommends a cpu with 8 cores or more, 32 gb ram, and a gpu with 8 gb vram and good performance.

Budget (including currency): £400 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: This is gonna be my first pc build, and I'd like to know if there are any issues or improvements i could make with the parts list before I pull the trigger, I most likely won't be buying anything for like a month so I have plenty of time to consider my options. My budget is £400 and I don't really play games that often, the main games it will play are Hitman 3, Sniper Elite 5 and maybe some GTA V. The parts list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/FfvKRK The GPU will be a RX 5500 XT from AliExpress, not sure how i feel about it, but its the best option i feel i have.

I've been looking at the used gpu market, and I found that on ebay you can get a used 3080, which is usually ~$1200 new, is only ~$450-$550. Why is this? the deal seems too good to be true!

For a pc im building, im gonna have a 7 7700x, but im not sure what gpu to pair with it. I was looking at the 3070, but it didn't have enough vram (i looking for at least 12 gb). I have a budget of $400-425 and im gonna use the card for minecraft rtx/shaders, so i want good peformance in that, but i dont really care about any nvidia features. Could any1 reccomend me a card?

For a pc im building, im getting a rtx 3070, which recommends a 650 watt psu. Does this mean that it wants a 650 watt psu or a psu that will end up with at least 650 watts like a 800 watt 80 plus psu so that after the 20% loss it's still 650 watts?

I'm planning to build a pc with an rtx 3070, but im not sure what gpu brand to buy. My friend says that Gigabyte is the most trustworthy, but I want to hear a second opinion.

I'm looking at getting a 3070 for my 7 7700x build, but it only has 8 gigs of vram. Will that be enough? I've heard that some cards are too slow to take advantage of extra vram, but is the 3070 one of those?

I'm building a pc with a ryzen 7700x, but im looking for a graphics card to pair with it. I'm not going to do anything too gpu intensive so it's ok if i have a gpu bottleneck because half the time i won't even use 60% of it's power. I've heard that the rtx 3070 has really good value, but i really want to future proof myself with more vram than just the 8 gigs it has, and i've been looking at the 4060 ti bc it has similar peformance and price while also having 16 gigs, but i've heard that the 4060 ti is really bad value. Why?

I'm planning to build a pc with a ryzen 7 7700x, but im not sure what gpu to pair with it. I've heard that the 4070 or sometimes the 3060 ti is good, but I don't want to spend that much money. I'm getting my graphics card from microcenter and they have pre-overclocked gpus, and I've been wondering if a card like that would be equivalent or close enough in preformance to an rtx 3060 ti.

I'll be streaming, gaming, and using art applications for the most part. It would also be nice to know if there's a certain time to buy the parts or if it's ok to get them asap. I would want resolution to be 1440 or 1080, i have some peripherals but they're not too high quality so some suggestions would be appreciated and can be separate from the tower cost. I have no existing pc parts because I'm upgrading from an Acer gaming laptop.
