Hi! my setup: i9 13900k Rog strix RTX 3080ti G.Skill 7600 Mhz 2x16 Gb Rog z790 Maximus Extreme + Rog fan controller I need help with setting up AIDA 64 - for the moment fans and sensors connected to ROG fan controller are not visible through Aida 64… controller is a part of maximus extreme set - it is connected with USB to the MB. Any ideas what may be the problem?

I just got all my parts and I am seconds from beginning my build however I need help deciding where everything will get plugged in. Let me set the stage in terms of equipment! Case: Lian Li 011 Dynamic EVO Motherboard: MSI z790 MPG Carbon WIFI Fans: 10 Lian Li 120mm Uni v2 Fans -I'm swapping 3x v1 fans on Radiator for V2 AIO: Lian Li 120 Galahad 360 My strategy: I want to utilize all of the Daisy Chain advantages that I can with v2; therefore, my end goal is to wind up not using ANY USB hubs and 1 single fan controller. I was going to Daisy Chain 3x Fans on the Radiator (set to exhaust) and utilize the cord that comes with Lian Li Univ2 Single Fan Boxes to plug them into the CPU_Fan Header (to allow CPU thermals to self regulate control). Then take the other side of that cable back into the controller SYNC 2 slot. (The controller has (2) JST 3 PIN ARGB Sync Ports labeled "SYNC 2 & SYNC 4). After that, I was going to install the AIO (which has 2 cables). I was going to plug the 3-pin JST into "SYNC 4 slot" on the Controller, and plug the other cable into the Motherboard AIO Pump Header. Then I was going to Daisy Chain (x3) Uni V2 Fans on the Side (set to intake) to (x3) Uni v2 Fans on the Bottom (set to intake). The Daisy Chain will be through the proprietary single cable for linking groups of V2 Fans. Then I was going to run a single cable from the bottom fan group to the Controller Port 1. Following that, I was going to install a SINGLE v2 fan on the REAR of the case set to Exhaust. I was going to use Lian Li's single cable and plug that fan into Port 2 on the controller. (At this point we are now occupying all of the 3-PIN JST ARGB SYNC ports on the controller (#2 & #4), and only 2 of the 4 ports on the controller using Lian Li's Proprietary Connector. Now I was going to run the controller to 2 seperate tails of SATA Power (to get maximum power from PSU) and plug the main USB 9-PIN into my USB 2.0 Header on the motherboard. Furthermore, I was ALSO going to plug the controller into the 3-PIN ARGB Header on the Motherboard and plug the 4pin connector into the Motherboard 4-PIN SYS_FAN Header. I believe this will give me the ability to SYNC all my Fans and devices to the Motherboard software and control them that was as well. (So I am not stuck just using L Connect 3 for everything). Here is where my question comes in, I just noticed my CASE has a 3-PIN female connector for RGB. Do I need to split one of my 3-PIN JST Sync connections and get that CASE RGB into my controller Port somehow using an adapter? Or should I just plug the case RGB into the Motherboard? Will I be able to control my CASE RGB only through Motherboard software? I'm curious what I should do. I'm good at making custom cables, so my thought was to create a Y-Cable that merges 2 of those JST connections, that way I can plug the case into a SYNC RGB port. However, if plugging it directly into the MOBO isn't an issue and it's controllable later in L-Connect due to the Controller being plugged into the MOBO, I won't even bother. Any advice, tweaks, suggestions is GREATLY appreciated here. I'm new to this community and I'm hoping somebody else who has built something similar can chime in and help. Thank you all!

My Pc has the H97 Pro Gamer installed. Due to a lack of Fan Headers, I recently bought this Fan Controller: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B077YHLDSP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I plugged in the power and the fans as well as the pwm port to the cpu fan port, and in the Bios it works like a charm. But when I boot into Windows, it seems like it doesn't detect the Thing as a Fan, therefore sending either nothing or 100% as PWM, because the Fans are on full Speed the whole time. What could be done to combat this ? All Fans are 4 pin headers. Thanks in advance.

I'm kind of at wits end here. I cannot find a way to get full control over my fans on my tower mostly, and while the noise isn't horrible, I would like it so I could at least have the fans basically shut down when the computer is at idle or under light load. I have an NZXT Noctis 450 with now 7 fans that are all 3 pin. I previously had them running into the built in "fan controller" but it turns out it was an uncontrollable hub so I replaced it with a Sliverstone controller that I have found out has done basically nothing because they are all 3 pin fans. Short of replacing all my fans with 4pin PMW's and a Commander Pro, is there anything else I can try? For reference I have 1 NZXT 120mm fan on at the rear, 2 Corsair AF120 Red's on top, and 4 Cooler Master Sickle flow red LED fans, 1 on top, 3 on the front.

Welp i had enough of overheating in case with this summer heat so i took out sidepanel and manually conected Fans to PCIE 10volt rail cable .. and put a switch for the most noisy under the monitor so i had it on desk When u just wanna watch movie is nice to shut that hooler down and enjoy sillent whooshing of automatic fan control curve when idle is not much noisy .. but then i game on GPU .. chipset and CPU heating is a issues btw .. FX - 8300 Boost 4.2Ghz with OC rx 5600 XT can work as heater when is chilled outside .. done that with Overclocked FX - 4300 at 4.6Ghz that was nice heat comming forom that CPU

I switched my gpu and when I turned on my PC my front and side fans didn't work, all fans are connected to a cable that leads into the front panel. All of the front panel function except the USB (that was damaged ages before) What could be the problem (and if this is a disconnected cable which cable could it be)?

hi guys and girls! I'm upgrading my pc and i'm looking for a simple and clean option to regulate my fans! i'm getting the new Corsair H110i Gt and the the RM750 and since those are compatible with corsair link, I'm thinking about getting the commander mini as well... Now my question is, is it worth it? is the corsair software good enough?! because i could use my motherboards headers but for some reason the mobo software doesn't seem to work all that well. If it isn't worth it, what would you reccomend to control my fans? Senner

what fan controller does linus use on his personal rig? I remember him mentioning it once in one of his videos but i can't seem to find it. This is my first time visiting this forum if I'm posting this at the wrong place let me know!

Hello, i wouldn't really call it a "problem" but i'm kinda frustrated that my bitfenix recon can't go any lower than 500 rpm before the fans shut down completely. I would like to hear from you guys if anyone has made a fix to this problem, because at 500rpm my fans are still kinda loud. :/
