hello I built a computer on 23 June. and i noticed that euro truck simulator 2 has a strange beeping sound when playing the video card. my friend told me that it is coil whine. I don't know what to do with it. not sure video card gives but I think so. sometimes whines at low loads. Hi all, I am a new member on this site and am looking for help on identifying the possible (defective) components which played a key part in burning my GPU's connectors and making my main PCI-E port completely unsuable. The story goes like this: Earlier today, I was playing ETS2 (Multiplayer, so TruckersMP), on ultra, thought nothing of it as I have been playing on the same setting for years, my steering wheel was also plugged into the computer. I do like keeping quite a few tabs open, mostly related to school, forums or videos I find interesting (and I keep Spotify open as well). When out of nowhere, my computer shut off, I didn't think anything as my parents were working in the basement, and I had thought they had done something like cut power to the house, however the computer tried to turn on multiple times, all failing, then I noticed an almost orange flame appear, with a strong burnt plastic scent, and that is when I unplugged my computer. (keep in mind that I built my computer almost three years ago, and have had the same GPU for about two years now) Later I opened up the computer, to yet more burnt plastic, I noticed that the main PCI-E slot was burnt, and when I took out the GPU, I noticed that only the three power pins on the GPU were burnt, and the rest were completely intact, and the left-hand portion of the entire PCI-E slot had been burnt. I booted up the computer again, without the GPU and all worked well, and is still working well, hence why I am on it, typing to you. Although I now lack a PCI-E slot. I am now trying to figure out what caused this so that it should be quickly replaced. I checked with a few refurbishing vendors and they said that they can repair the GPU for around $200. (rough estimate, am going to show them the card in person) Currently, I think it was an issue with the power supply, as upon opening the case, the GPU was properly secured in place. I don't think it was a power surge becuase my house is new enough to protect against those, but my PC being plugged into an extension does worry me. Specs: Intel Core i5-8400 ASRock Phantom Gaming D Radeon RX580 8GB (overclocked it about 6 months ago) Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 16GB MSI Z370-A PRO LGA 1151 Motherboard EVGA 500W PSU (rating: 80+ Plus white) One AOC monitor (plugged into GPU) and one Dell monitor (plugged into motherboard, being powered by iGPU) Kingston 500GB SSD + WD Blue 1TB Attached below are pictures of the PCI-E slot, and the burnt power pins on the GPU. If there are any folks out there willing to help me make a modification for ETS2(Euro Truck Simulator 2) & ATS(American Truck Simulator) that makes these games MMOs, I would really appreciate it. Languages and/or skills needed: C++ Reverse engineering RakNet Any of these skills is enough for you to become part of this big project that will change the games forever. Hello community, I am unsure of a purchase for an ets2 dlc. My situation is that I own ets2 and the "heavy cargo pack" already, but I want to get the other to dlcs: "high power cargo", "special transport" aswell. Now I want to buy the pack that includes all 3 of these at a keyseller site called MMOGA, where it is named "cargo bundle", because it is cheaper there. Now my question: will steam allow me to use the key, despite the fact the I own "heavy cargo pack" already ?

Hello All! I've been having this problem in ETS2 for a while now where my truck randomly damages itself for no apparent reason. And no it isn't because of wear on the truck it simply just damages itself in large steps without me actually crashing into anything or even having the engine on. For example the truck damage could be at 0% then after a second it jumps to 15% then to 22% then to 45%, to 56%, etc. All within a few seconds of each other. I've also got some visual examples below: (Look to the bottom right corner of the pics, just a second after the first pic the damage rised).

Hi again! So last time I was talking about how my truck randomly damages itself, well, that brought me to another problem I've had for a while in ETS2. So in ETS2 the interior window textures (among others) are missing from the Iveco Stralis, I don't know why. I have several ETS2 profiles but this issue only occurs in my main profile. I have mods but this shouldn't cause any issues as the same mods don't cause this issue in any of my other in-game profiles. P.S I have validated the game files. All help is much appreciated Thanks!

Hello there, I want to make a quick thread asking you guys for help with my triple monitor setup. Currently i have 1 main monitor which is a BenQ 23 inch monitor. And a few days back i bought 2 identical other monitors which are LG's 21.5 Inch. Now i love tripple monitor setup in the first place and i would personally never want to go back to 1 monitor as i was stuck with having only 1 after completing building my gaming rig (upgraded from laptop which had 1 monitor aside which is now my main). Now the obvious question: How would i be able to play ETS2 and ETS2MP (mod) without having screen diffrences ingame. i know diffrend sized monitors asks for difficulties when it comes to gaming as it is only greatly compatible with workflow. But is there any option for me not having to swap my main monitor? I don't play games only, but i also make great use of all three monitors while working on my desktop or when normal multitasking. I have surely multitasked my way into google's search engine to only find out i can't seem to find any proper answer to my problem. So recently DaSquirrelsNuts on YouTube, has gone to the SCS Software office and got to meet the teams, interview the CEO of SCS and also got footage of some of the projects they are working on! Which I gotta say is pretty cool they let him there, let alone film things that haven't been released yet! Down below is part 3 of his journey series type thing, where he was talking to a guy who is working on ATS as well, as get footage of the game and a little bit of details Part 2 he also got footage of the upcoming DLC for ETS 2 I'm pretty hyped for ATS, looks really good. It does use the same engine as ETS 2, but with a few minor things tweaked here and there, like the guy mentioned in the video. I hope they do add a little part of Canada some time in future But nonetheless, driving around America will be really fun and can't wait! I also really like the idea of both games evolving together. That way when one idea, or feature is going to be added to one game, they'll add it to the other too. I think that is a really good idea. Also the upcoming DLC for ETS 2 does look pretty cool, and I am probably gonna consider buying it when it comes out, depending on how much it is.

So the thing here is to post pictures of your truck/s and show off your nice vehicles to other people.
