But i'm actually more of a Intel person so my second build is an Intel. For now i put a 2060 on the build but i'm gonna buy a GPU last to see if the prices get better in order to maybe get a 30 series in a few months. Hey everyone! i recently started to look into building my own PC for the holidays, as the current PC i have was build by a friend of mine around 2016~ if i believe, im still very new to building PC's, or PC'S in general, so i was wondering if anybody would have any suggestions/changes on this build! my main concern is the motherboard, as it does everything i need it to, but i feel like i could probably find something cheaper that does everything i need it do, i only got the WIFI model as it had a sale going on at the time, but is no longer. the Speccy screenshot is what im currently running, and the Pcpartpicker screenshots are the build i want. thank you in advance for your suggestions and changes! Hello I'm kinda new to the PC building thingy So I tried to pick some parts for my PC that I'll build Here are the components I dont speak native English so I'm kinda confused about External Storage and Storage on their site, So which one should I pick for a cheap and good performance? Also I picked 450W power supply and I'm thinking about not enough Power to run the system since I live in asia (where the electricity current is 220w) Which PSU should I pick? Im aiming for under $450 so im trying to downgrade the system as much as possible but I wont change the graphic card, ram and CPU Please help me

Hi, over there! I need some help on build a budget desktop PC mainly for architects projects. I essentially use two softwares: ArchiCAD and Lumion; I would say that 80% of the time I spend using ArchiCAD and 20% Lumion. So my hardware should be oriented to these softwares. The problem is that ArchiCAD uses CPU for rendering (3D) while Lumion uses GPU; im not completely sure about that so you can correct me. My budget is like no more than 800 usd (sad for me). Im thinking on (main components): option 1) Intel i5-9400F + gtx 1660 6gb ddr5 + 16 GB Ram (2666 GHz). option 2) ryzen 5 3600 + RX 570 8GB + 16 gb ram (3000 or 3200 GHz) option 3) ryzen 5 3600X + RX 570 4Gb or 580 4 Gb (depends on budget) + 16 gb ram (3000 or 3200 GHz) Option 4) even better cpu, worst gpu? Others components: "cheap" m.2 NVMe + budget MB for each cpu + 500W psu bronce certification? + stock cooler for some months (out of budget at this point i think) Please help me choosing the best combination considering my restrictions!! Thanks you every one, and sorry for my English. Greetings from Chile!! JCTS

Hey guys i already posted at the gpu section but might as well write the whole build. So i'm from Georgia (the country) (not the state) it's under Russia, above turkey, next to the black seas... yeah... yeah... that's the one. so currently i've got ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5KPL-AM (Socket 775) motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz Wolfdale 45nm Technology 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 800mhz Evga gtx 460 v2 1gb gddr5 192bit Vcard (it's pretty good, it's as powerful as gtx650 1gb if not better) 298GB SAMSUNG HD322HJ ATA Device (SATA ) 500w EVGA PSU 768p monitor 60hz it's pretty sh*t i know, so that's why i decided to upgrade from socket 775 to any other one (thinking of 1155) my budget is probbobly around 500lari(ლარი) that's about 185USD (for the record i'm not thinking of building completly new pc just "upgrading" (meaning i'm sticking with 500wpsu,298gb HDD and might stick with gtx460 dunno). so here's what i'm planing: 1155 socket Mboard it's price range varies between 80lari(ლარი) $30 to 120lari(ლარი) $45 i3 or i5 (i found i3 - 3240 for 70lari(ლარი) $26 and i5 - 2500k for 110lari(ლარი) $41) so as i said i might stick with gtx460, but someone told me,on the gpu section, where i asked which was better gtx660 2gb or gtx750ti which are about 150lari(ლარი) $55 (i was thinking of buying one for a time) , to opt for either gtx950 170-180lari(ლარი) $63-67 or gtx960 180-200lari(ლარი) $67-75, so what's your opinion about that ? 8gb ddr3 ram (which i couldn't found for bargain it's mostly round 100lari(ლარი) $37) i'm sticking with my 500w psu and with mt 768p monitor, i just don't need a fullHD one or something like that, i'm pretty happy with what i've got ^^ so the price range is between 400lari(ლარი) $150 to 520lari(ლარი) $193 so you might think $43 difference isn't much but for me 120ლარი is pretty big number (more like medium size but still :d) i'll be using it for gaming though i'm just a player ;_; (i don't play too much games, but) i'll be playing more open world games such as Assassin's Creed series and GTA V of course, i'm crazy about AC though, i might play some shooter too like Battelfied 1 really intrigues me newer one i don't really like that much. TBH i'm alright playing a game with 30fps at768p medium-high settings, but if i'll be able to play a game with more fps at high-very high setting high you wont find any man happier than me. thank you, good bye, have a good one... P.S for those who think this isn't that much capable system i can play Gta v with 768p mostly low just reflections, water at high and also anisotropic filtering x16 oh and fxaaon msaax2 (the reason being the gpu it really is an old beast i could find it for cheap for 100lari $37,before that i had gt610 1gb (it couldn't paly sh*t) and this old 460 was a fresh air for me only thing was that cpu was bottelnecking it was mostly at 99% usage and gpu was at 20-35% that's why i put a few setting up gpu suage got from that to 65%, i was playing it visync-on at 30fps most of the times, though it dipped to lower 20s to high 10s (dual channel cpu was the problem i guess) that's why at first i wanted to get a good 775 cpu like quad q9650 or something but i though it wouldn't be more capable of upgrading and might as well buy a newer socket Mboard (Assassin's creed Origins and Odissey were probably the reason as well it not being reales on socket775). i aslo could play Assassin's creed IV Black Flag at 768p medium with round 30fps. i don't know why i wrote all these but it may help you some day, just a return for your suggestions or help, more info, so yeah that's it, goodbye for now... P.S.S i 'd like to go for more intel and nvidea product i know the amd and all of thole other companies product are good as well, but i jsut don't get it, i'd prefer intel cpus and nvidea gpus

Hi all! I am very new to this all. I am trying to build a mini-ITX gaming PC since I travel quiet a bit so the small form factor is very helpful to me. After a lot of youtube videos and research, I see that I have the budget for Ryzen 9 3000X and RTX 2080 Super for the CPU and GPU. - I want to be able to play Gears 5, Metro etc and steamroll them on a 1440p screen and have the option for 4k. I have already bought the Ryzen CPU, everything else will be bought but I wanted to go over them all first here. Is the Motherboard good? I am not sure if it allows Wifi connection. If it doesn't, what ITX/DTX motherboard should I get/ Am I missing anything? Should I replace something here due to non compatibility for any reason from size to just not going to work? BTW - The exact GPU is MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB VENTUS XS OC and NOT the normal looking 2080 Super that all the youtubers use- Can some please confirm if that one is ok go run and will be fine in the M1 case please? Any tips, replacements for lower price or slightly higher price and any suggestions is highly appreciated. I have attached the parts as an image as well as the profile in PCparkpicker. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Thank you very much! https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Pyro0o0o0o0o/saved/#view=ZLmV7P

Goodday, I have a question for all of you tech savvy people on the internet. I bought a ps4 pro about 2 years ago (I know right), and with that, I bought a 4K monitor. After a while, I got tired of the toxic console community and was willing to join the sweaty pc master race. So, I lost myself in the wonderful world of PC building. This is the build I am currently gaming on: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X CPU Cooler: Corsair H100X Extreme Performance RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz MB: Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING GPU: Geforce 1080ti PSU: CORSAIR CX-M Series CX750M 1 TB of HDD storage 250 GB SSD storage I have used and enjoyed this PC, but having a 4k monitor and not being able to get a comfortable 60+ fps on appealing settings in most of the games (I play a lot of AAA titles), annoyed me extremely. So my question is, What would I have to change to get that comfortable 60 fps in 4K games? And if I decide to change my monitor to a 1440p and 144 Hz monitor, what would I have to change then? Thanks in advance, Fabian
