I recently bought a TP-Link Nano Bluetooth receiver (Bluetooth 4.0) so that I could use my Realme wireless earphones (again Bluetooth 4.0) with my PC. But the audio quality was like an old radio with frequent artifacts which were really irritating.. Restarting sometimes helped tho.. So please bear with me, this was my situation: My case Corsair Spec-01 has separate audio and mic output.. I had a PowerA Xbox controller which had 3.5mm jack for headset.. But it also had some artifacting issues occasionally.. So I bought a bluetooth receiver, but it also has bad audio quality majority of time Both, the controller's and bluetooth receiver's quality improves if restarted the system... After reading some article, I found something like devices not getting enough power which affects their performance (Especially bluetooth receivers) I've connected the following devices to my PC: Keyboard (USB 3.0) Mouse (USB 3.0) Speakers(for usb power) (USB 2.0) Controller (USB 3.1) Bluetooth receiver (USB 3.0) I'm thinking this way because the receiver works just fine when connected to my very old laptops O_o Thank you for bearing with me

Hi everybody! A few days ago I built my first ever PC (a Mini-ITX which plan to use as an HTPC). Although it does turn on, the CPU fan spins and all LEDs light, I get no signal on my monitor (I tried both HDMI and DP). Please note that I use no Graphics Card but a CPU with integrated graphics instead (see full spec list below), so I have to use the ports of my motherboard. Does anybody know what I can do or what I should try? I thank everybody in advance since I don't know what I can do anymore. Part List (all parts are new except the CPU): CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Pro Wifi RAM: 2* 4GB G.Skill NT Series DIMM Cooler: Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 Case: Unyka 52061 w/ integrated PSU 150W Storage: 240GB Kingston M.2 SSD Also, I should note that after powering my PC on I can hear a throttling noise which seems to come from my PSU, that is integrated into my case. According to PCPartPicker my ITX should use around 119W, and my PSU supplies 150W, so it should be enough. EDIT 9/11/2021: I bought a new PSU and case as it seemed that the PSU was the problem. However, I still get no signal whatsoever.

Well where do I begin ? My MOBO died week ago, It was a MSI B450M Mortar paired with a budget Ryzen 3 2200G at the time (-/+ 3 years ago ? ) Power section of the Motherboard died, and I couldn't get it to even flinch (shorting power pins wasn't working) and I tested CPU and everything on a friends A320, worked fine. So i told myself okay, fine. > "It's time for an upgrade" Ended up buying MSI MAG B550 and R5 3600. Got the package today. And got curious. Just yolo'ed the 2200G which to be honest I didn't know it was still a Zen (besides almost every 2nd and 3rd gen being Zen+) And it worked. I was stunned, like Linuses "Whaaaat?!" -you get the image First of all neither Zen or Zen+ are supported on B550 ... Moreso the motherboard had written on it's box that it is incompatible with the newer APUs (mentioning 3200G and 3400G) And surprisingly both output works ( Vega and my GTX 1060) Now when that's said ... *I'm just curious if it's AMD just trucking with stuff "making it incompatible" on purpose ?* Will it be stable ? The only reason I bought a new CPU is because the mobo was supposed to not support my old one. I'm also asking only because I'm low on cash and I didn't want to spend money on a 3600 yet, you know maybe get some more and buy a Ryzen 7 ... :V

Hello guys! My system specs are: Ryzen 3 2200G, 16GB RAM I wanted to record the gameplay with minimal hits to my performance. I know my hardware is barely capable of even playing AAA games and I dont have money to spend on capture card, hence I wanted to go the weird way. Something like streaming/screen sharing to another system and recording on that. I tried OBS NDI, but since my other system (an old laptop) does not has a Ethernet port, its not working that well.. I'm still figuring out that, so I thought are there any similar ways to share the screen over network to my mobile/laptop so that I can record on the other device. Knowing my specs, 720P30 (Or 60 :3) is my aim. Suggest me something pls Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to install a wifi card through the pcie X1 slot on the motherboard, but when I plug in the gpu in the pcie X16 slot, I can no longer find the wifi card. It works when I unplug the gpu and use the apu on the 2200g. Am I hitting a limit on the available pcie lanes of my cpu? Is there a workaround if so? Here's the hardware I'm running: B450MA Ryzen 3 2200g msi rx570 2X8gb ram 650W psu Cudy AX3000PCIe adapter w/Intel AX200 card Also, all of the drivers for bluetooth and wifi are up-to-date. Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. Thanks!

So, I've a Gigabyte Aorus B450 M motherboard which I've paired with Ryzen 3 2200G. I've successfully overclocked the CPU at 4.0GHz, but couldn't overclock the iGPu because my mobo has no heatsink on the VRMs for SOC voltage. So, after discussion with forum members, I bought these: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B086VZNM8J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08B3XC51X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Now, I don't know how to effectively apply the tape so that the heat sinks stick to them and transfer heat properly.. Should I apply a long strip over all the vrms or small pieces? Should I overlap the tape to make a thick material? Kindly help me out This is what those vrms look like:

can anyone explain how this is possible? im running my rx 570 through my motherboard output and getting it at 100% usage in dota2. my gpu is a mining version so only 1 dvi output, i have a hdmi only new monitor, so what i did was connect my new monitor to the motherboard hdmi out and made the integrated gpu as the primary display device thru bios and had it as the main display where i ran the game. im puzzled as this only works for dota 2, while in other games the pc uses the igpu which i set to force 64mb only igp memory. has anyone else tried this? i know its possible for an nvidia card as seen in the p106 video with linus and anthony, but none for amd ones.

My sister uses Photoshop for her business on this machine and she needs some upgrades the first thing I decided on was going to 16gb 3200mhz ram easy upgrade since she was using almost all 8 gigs at idle if I can fit an SSD in it I want to do that but what else can I do. Limited by the fact that it's an hp and power supply is small what's possible can I possibly put in a new cpu? If so what would be a good fit? Is there a way to get a bigger power supply? I haven't dug into it yet but I presume many things are proprietary. Basically what's a good path. Staying in this chassis because...ya know.

Hello, first and foremost I would like to state that my computer building and knowledge of PCs is rather low so please understand that this may be a rather "noob" question. I have recently built a entry level budget gaming/work PC with the following specs: CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G MOBO: B450M/ac RAM: 8gb (2x4gb 2666 MHz) GPU: Radeon RX 580 I just installed the GPU and was using the APU until this last week, so I was monitoring the specs of the RX 580 with HW Monitor. The case I am using is a Rosewill Ranger M with little to no cable management room so my insides are a hot mess (quite literally) as my GPU was clocking in at 85-90 degrees Celsius while playing. Long story short, my questions are as follows for anyone that may be able to offer guidance: -What is considered a safe range for GPU temps? I was only playing for about 20-30 minutes by the time it reached 90 -Does cable management effect my temp issues all that much in this case? Photo of my build for reference. -Would anyone recommend an open concept style case or a test bench case option instead? I am rather fond of the look of the test bench instead of a case but worry if that may not be safe or practical for a day to day use computer like mine. Thank you in advance! IMG_5191.HEIC

Hello! It's been a while since I've been on here. But I'll make this quick. I'm considering upgrading my current GPU to an amd rx 570(8gb model no OC, if it matters) from a gtx 1050. My main concern is wattage and running too close to my PSU's reccomended wattage. Here's a list of my specs Seasonic 430w bronze rated psu Ryzen 2200g Gtx 1050 One HDD and an nvme m.2 SSD After some quick googling, my CPU at full load pulls around 70ish watts and the RX 570 pulls a little less than 300, bringing the system power draw to 370 watts leaving 60 watts overhead for the rest of the system. This is my first GPU upgrade so I'm not sure if that's too little for my system or maybe I should consider a bigger PSU upgrade before I buy the GPU Any comments are greatly appreciated!

Hi! I'm currently trying to troubleshoot my PC Ryzen 3 2200g R9 270 (non X) A320 Motherboard 1 x 8gb ddr4 2400mhz CIT-Atv500r Psu (500w 80 Bronze) 1TB WD 7200RPM So I'm only 15. My knowledge on PC Components is very strong ect. But when it comes to things like troubshooting I have no clue what to do really. My original PC when I bought it 2nd hand was: Fx 6300 Some random Asus am3+ mobo that I can't remember 2 x 4gb ddr3 1866 Everything eles was the same as it is now I didn't know what to expect pairing a 2200g with an r9 270. But it's been absolutely awful ever since I made upgrades (I suspect its bottleneck with my cpu gpu but I don't know 100%) I mainly game on my PC, that's its primary use. If anyone knows what's wrong with my system and what directions I can take to get my PC stable (suggest upgrades ect. As I'm upgrading my PC at Christmas anyway) Thanks!

I am bulding a budget PC. Here is the list of parts I chose: CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G RAM: Corsair Veagneance C15 DDR4 3000MHz (2x8) MBD: Gigabyte DS3H B450M PSU: Corsair CX450W I will use this pc for casual gaming as well, so I have heard that 2GB of ram is automatically allocated as VRAM for Vega 8. Is there a way to allocate more vram to the graphics? Is it compatible only on some mobos? And also another query: Is 450W enough for a future upgrade to ryzen 5 and RX570 / GTX 1660??

This is my parts list: CPU- Ryzen 3 2200G RAM- Corsair Vengeance 16GB(2x8) 3000MHz PSU- Thermaltake Smart BX1 450W Bronze Case- Corsair Carbide Spec-01 Storage- WD Blue 1TB (Will later go for SDD sure) GPU- Currenty plan on using integrated but will go for RX570/GTX1660 Pls suggest a mobo that will allow little upgrades (like ryzen 5 1600) but is cheap. I only have around 7K INR. Thanks

I was wondering would this ram work out of the box at its max speed with a 200ge and 2200g, if not what would i need to do to get it working, as i am a newbie when it comes to the technical side of ram, like timings. The memory kit https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GCWQBQQ/?tag=linustechtips-21&th=1

So, am looking to purchase 5 ~ 7 new systems for my newly opening office, and am looking at Ryzen 3 1200, 2200G and ryzen 5 1400, anything other than them is strictly out of budget as they cost way too much than am willing to pay for 5 ~ 7 systems, especially 2400g and higher up cpu's. Most of the time we'll be working with unity and visual studios, but i'd also like to have them have the ability to play some old games with lan play enabled in our free time (games like dungeon siege 2, Titan Quest, dirt, Age of empires, borderlands, War of the Overlord, Rocket league, Space hulk death wing, paladins, Planetside 2) and similar games @ 720p (Note - not a complete list of games we'll play but some games in my head at the moment) In case of Ryzen 3 1200 and Ryzen 5 1400 i'll get GT 1030 GPU, but i prefer not to add additional expenses, bah what i am saying is i want to know if 2200G is good enough so that i dont need to buy Ryzen 5 1400 + GT 1030, saving some cash on 5 ~ 7 systems as i have other expenses which can use it. Where i live a Ryzen 5 2400G costs - $180 Ryzen 3 1200 costs - $75 Ryzen 5 1400 costs - $134 Ryzen 3 2200G costs - $112 GT 1030 costs - $96 I'd also like to know if A320M boards are good enough for Ryzen 3 1200, Ryzen 5 1400 and 2200G or should i go for B450M for 2200G ? (yea i wont be overclocking any of them) Does ryzen 3 2200G benefits from having dual channel memory? since it uses an integrated GPU ? last but not the least, I dunno how good quadcore cpu's are in this age and time, are they still good for light multiplayer gaming? i mean i will grudgingly go for 2400G if they are not viable but i really rather not, seeing how few the gains are compared to 2200G in games. Note - non of these will be my main rig since i already got an overpowered personal work station. Thank you for the time.

I was wondering compared to a gtx graphics card how fast is the 2200g's 8 integrated vega cores and is it more powerful than a gtx640 ???

I recently put together this system with a Ryzen 3 2200G and an RX 580 8GB, this is not the first computer I've built, but I can not figure out why in certain titles I am getting extremely bad frame skips/drops in titles this system should easily be able to run. What exactly is happening: The games I have run into this problem are Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch and Tom Clancy's: The Division 2. In CS:GO my framerate is hovering around 80FPS and dips only a little bit to 60, but I feel like this framerate is really low for a game that is not very demanding like Counter Strike. In Division 2, I get frame skips down to 20-25 down from 50-60, which again is rather low for an RX 580. Overwatch is the most severe where I am usually starting anywhere from 120-160FPS and it tanks to 30-60,causing extremely bad frame skips whenever someone uses an ability or gets close to my character. My previous system I was using daily was a laptop with an i7 8700HQ and a GTX 1050Ti, maybe more powerful in the CPU department, but much less powerful graphics wise, and all other titles I would play on this system run better on my new computer, but the ones that I mentioned do not at all. Another good example is Apex Legends which uses the same engine as CS:GO (I think) runs at even higher FPS than CS:GO which is absurd in my opinion. What I have already tried/attempted: All drivers are up to date, I have flashed the BIOS twice, no abnormal thermals or clock speeds are happening (GPU is always 60C or lower and CPU is around the same, 65C max with the stock cooler). My ram is 16GB of Corsair Vengeance at 2400MHZ which I overclocked to 3000MHZ and still get the same results either way. All of these titles are using the RX 580 as the graphics driver (I am new to AMD's software and have had trouble navigating it to make changes though, if any at all). I have turned on and off AMD "Chill FPS" multiple times, uninstalled and installed Re Live to see if that was an issue and I have attempted to go back to a previous driver version, but I can't find where to get any previous drivers from and since I never had previous drivers installed, they aren't already on my system to use. I read somewhere MSI Afterburner can cause conflicts with AMD's GPU settings, which I did have installed, but even uninstalling that along with any other, benchamarking, monitoring or overclocking tools haven't changed anything. I am at a loss on what to do at this point. Full system specs: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 3.8GHZ Quad Core AMD XFX RX 580 8GB ASUS B350 Prime Plus Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400MHZ OC to 3000MHZ Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD EVGA 750BQ PSU EDIT: Changing graphics settings in game doesn't affect FPS in virtually every single title, also odd, and an indicator of a CPU bottleneck, but I have seen other benchmarks with the same system specs and they do not have this problem. EDIT 2: I am running in high performance mode, no capture software running from either Windows, AMD or other 3rd party software. I have tried clean driver installs on everything. EDIT 3: Reseating hardware didn't change anything, only fix was to fresh install Windows 10. Will post cause of issue here if I find what was causing it in the future. FIX: I replaced the thermal compound on my GPU, this improved temperatures, but the windows re install had originally fixed these problems in the first place for me, so there is no correlation in my case, however I did see articles stating poor thermal compound application could be a cause to issues like this, it just wasn't mine. The compound the GPU came with was not good quality (which is normal), but it's probably because it is designed for longevity, not performance. Regardless the stock application looked fine on mine, people who reported bad application had thermal compound on the PCB of their GPU. Not related but replacing the compound also got rid of some coil wine when my fans were at full speed, probably from better reassembly. I started having this problem again after attempting to Overclock my GPU. I had done this before, but was resetting my GPU overclock when I started having problems, these problems also were not immediate, but didn't take long to occur the second time (20 minutesish). I did not think this was the problem before because I had reset my GPU to it's normal settings both times. From what I have read online about people having similar issues, the solution is to reset the GPU to factory settings in AMD Wattman and Game Settings (Global, or specific games if you had tweaked with them), re install drivers, and restart your computer. This solution worked for me the second time around (I did not attempt this in that order before) and I haven't had issues since. For some reason attempting any overclock will cause your GPU to become unstable in certain situations (bad framedrops/framerates even when everything appears to be running fine). In synthetic benchmarks and certain titles for me everything ran great, even in GPU heavy games like GTA V and Apex Legends, but other titles would not be playable like the ones I mentioned. I even had my GPU crash when playing Overwatch once despite having a stable overclock in MSI Kombostor for 30 minutes straight earlier that day, I assumed this just meant the overclock was unstable, but I'm seeing now this is an issue with AMD on their current drivers. This happens using 3rd party software or AMD Wattman regardless, but I would recommend staying away from 3rd party software. AMD knows about this problem now, and hopefully will fix it in a future driver update, but as far as I can tell only myself and a few others have had this problem, and it's isolated only to people who are overclocking which makes the sample size for fixing this smaller. For now, that is how you fix this. Hopefully I saved someone a lot of headaches.

Since ram prices dropped more than half (for my kit) of what I paid for mine, I decided to buy some more. I have a 2200g and originallyset the amount to 1gb cause I only had 8. Now I try to change that amount to the maximum of 2gb, save and exit bios, but I still only have 1gb of reserved ram for graphics.

Hi, so my brother came up to me and said his dual monitors are no longer working. I took a look and it turns out that the Vega 8 graphics display adapter is no longer appearing in Task Manager nor Device Manager. He claims he was uninstalling Steam and accidentally uninstalled AMD drivers, although I'll be honest and say I had no idea there was AMD drivers, since when I set Windows up, no additional drivers were needed. What I've tried so far: Looking in BIOS/UEFI for enabling iGPU - no luck finding that option, and even reset defaults just to check Unplugging the HDMI cable that goes into the motherboard This is an old screen shot that showed how it used to work: With the setup above, he was able to use dual monitors, one through the Vega 8, and the other through his 1050 Ti. I've had no luck so far in trying to attempt to get the Vega 8 graphics up and running, so any advice and/or assistance is appreciated.

Hey all! So since I was going to be "upgrading" to Ryzen I was wondering if you could use the iGPU to stream in OBS and for video acceleration in DaVinci like you can with the iGPU in Intel chips with the QSV codec. Any information would be helpful. In addition.. If it is possible should I get the 2400G or the 2200G?

I have a 2200g on a b450 chipset. Because of the apu, I only have 8 lanes availabl. I know i can run a graphics card at x8 speed and have minimal, if any, decrease in performance. My question is, what would happen if I had NVMe storage?? Couldn't find anything and I'm genuinely curious.
