Budget (including currency): <200 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Team Fortress 2, Terraria, Minecraft, Left 4 Dead 2, Ark Survival Evolved, Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, Saints Row 2, 3 and 4, Skyrim. Other details: Hello Everyone, I am currently building a PC for a friend. My budget is 200$ or less and I already have a CPU (A Core i5 6400) and some 120mm Fans. I am hoping for a sub 200$ system that can run games at 1080p 60fps consistently. My friend currently is gaming on a laptop with integrated graphics which you can imagine isn't Ideal. I also need the motherboard to have Wi-Fi. I have no idea what parts to choose for my CPU and need recommendations. Thanks.

I'm in the UK and have been using a 13.3" Toshiba CR2 Chromebook since 2015 for watching YouTube and Netflix around the house. I can't watch YouTube at higher than 720p without stuttering and lagging, and even at that resolution Netflix stutters and lags a lot. I figure it's time to replace it and I'd like to replace it with a tablet, as it takes up a lot less space on a kitchen counter, is easier to use in bed or in a car when waiting to collect someone, and generally will be a more pleasant experience for media consumption than using a desktop OS. The big issue I'm having is that 12" is the smallest screen size I feel I could be happy with, although I'd prefer 13", but the only tablets I've found with that size are way too high end and expensive for my needs as I do not play games on this device, nor take photos, although I could conceivably make video calls occasionally. The two devices I've found so far are: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ (£719, 12.4" screen, looks like a great screen but it's expensive) Apple iPad Air 2020 (£579, 10.9" screen, a bit too small but looks like a great screen, but again very expensive) Apple iPad Pro (£969, 12.9" screen, great screen size but incredibly expensive) I don't need the vast majority of features on these tablets so I'm hoping there's an alternative out there that meets my needs, but after several weeks of searching, watching YouTube videos rounding up tablets and reading reviews and blog posts, I have not managed to find any. My feature wish list is: 12"+ screen Can play 1080p60 video without any issues like stuttering, lagging or hitching Has a front-facing camera in case I want to make a video call Has stereo speakers (preferably front-firing if possible) Has decent battery life to be able to last for at least four hours watching video at a reasonable brightness and volume level Not incredibly expensive Is what I'm looking for unreasonable? Is this something that doesn't exist on the market? What would you suggest I get? Any help, ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Budget (including currency): 1200€ (Euro) Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming mostly, like Warzone 2.0 and GTA V Other details: I own already a monitor from AOC 165Hz and good mouse and keyboard, also I own several SSDs like M.2 Gen3 Resolution: 1080p / 165Hz monitor with HDR Stock in my country is very limited, like, PCDiga.pt or Globaldata.pt are the most trusted stores. I tried a build based on stock Case - ATX Kolink Observatory Lite Mesh RGB with adicional top fan Aerocool Mirage 12 ARGB 120mm PSU - Modular Seasonic Focus GX-550W 80+ Gold CPU - Intel Core I5-13400F 10-Core (2.5GHz-4.6GHz) 20MB Skt1700 Motherboard - Gigabyte B760M Gaming X DDR4 RAM - G.Skill Kit 32GB (4 x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz Ripjaws V Black CL18 GPU - Sapphire Radeon RX 6750 XT Pulse OC 12GB What do u think? I own a legion 5 with a RTX 2060 so it struggles at 60 Frames. I have it connected to my monitor. Also I own a PS5 so I do play with my GF so the PC would be to play with here and I love to see her to play at high frames with quality. I´m not now as educated in hardware as I was 6 years ago. Medicine is this, takes away most of my time. COVID didn´t help at all too. Anyways, I wanna avoid bottleneck and also random problems. U can check both stores that I mention but its in my language. Sorry for my English Wish u all the best Regards

Hi guys my name is Eli, I stream games for fun and I have a bit of a kerfuffle here! dual pc setup stream pc : R7 2700x, RTX2070, nvme m.2 game pc: i79700k, RTX2080ti, nvme m.2 main gaming monitor is DP 1440p 144hz OC’d to 165hz. Elgato 4k60pro mk2 connected via HDMI from 2080ti to stream pc. on the gaming pc I’m seemingly able to clone my monitor to the capture card while retaining 1440p 165hz( finally) but now basically my only two issues left are a pretty bad screen tearing and stuttering in obs preview and in stream. Obs settings are on what’s recommended by Epos vox on YouTube. And I just can’t get a smooth stream. The only way I can , is to drop my gaming pc to 120hz and then clone. If I do that everything is perfect except i don’t get my 144-165hz which I need lol. Please send nerds! also here’s a link to my test account twitch.tv/elitestaccount And real one twitch.tv/onlinewitheli

Hello there... As there is such open thread, maybe someone can assist me. is there any GuRu that could help me understand all features of OBS?) I have watched Linus videos... wait... or it is not Linus? Strange... the channel named not Linus! its some kind of EposVox.... Strange... he looks like Linus... or Linus looks like him? They look similar... Maybe, because of Beards? Nevermind! SO! here is my setup. AMD 3950x Gigabyte X570 Aorus elite MSI 730GT 2GDDR5 version Seasonic 750 Platinum 2x8GB DDR5 GSKill Trudent Z 3200 1xEvo SATA SSD for 120 GB 1xPro SAta SSD for 512 GB (dont remeber which models) 1х1TB Seageta Baracuda HDD I am not going to stream or be a streamer. I am not going to make Gaming content. For this moment i just want to understand how everything works and how to use streaming programs and platform. I have tried to stream some games diretly to Twitch using x.264 codec. It was intresting experiance. But during settiing i have found that when i stream uisng BitRate higher that 2500, on twitch i have sound, but no video(black screen) When bitRate is 2500 it's fine. I have tried Slow, Medium and Fast - no reaction. Sometime stream starts fine, but suddenly either video freeze or i have black screen with sound. I have tried to watch EposVox beginner's guide. An still i have such problems.

What I have (bought this PC in 2011 to play Battlefield 3 and, don't laugh, Star Citizen. I was a huge Wing Commander fan) I know people hate Battlefield V but my current rig doesn't run it at 50 FPS max :( (overclocking got it to 60FPS on 5vs5 maps, which EA now cancelled) Most games still run fine, I play Division 2 without problem and was surprised how well Forza Horizon 4 & DMC 5 ran & looked (Unlike Resident 7, even though it's also a Capcom game, even Resident Evil 2 ran smoother) Some are unplayable though. Wolfenstein 2 and Quantum Break didn't run properly at all. CPU: i5 2500K @4.5 + custom cooler MOBO: AsRock Z68 Extreme4 G3 8GB RAM (not sure which kind, but it's from 2011) PSU: XFX Core 650W Samsung SSD 850 EVO 256 (just use it for my OS) Samsung HD 1TB RX580 8GB Question: Can I just replace my MOBO & CPU? And with what so I can play modern games smoothly @1080p, high settings and stable FPS for the next 4 years or so (No VR, No Streaming) I've been curious about AMD CPU's I'm on a budget so I was thinking of getting an Ryzen 5 2600 and a MSI B450 GAMING PLUS, socket AM4 moederbord and 2x8GB DDR4 RAM Can I just get that and fit it in my existing PC? Replace MOBO, CPU & RAM? My 650W PSU should still power it enough?

Hey guys. I have a 980gtx and have seen the new 1660 RTX and even 1070ti going for a decent price. (Also debating about 2060 super) I was wondering if any of you think it's worth upgrading to get over the 60fps range. I've got a 75 Hz monitor so would like to target that but with max settings. Any suggestions? My build is I7 4930k @ 3.400GHZ 980gtx 32gb of ram I ran a few benchmarks Average 60 fps on gears 5 60 on crysis 60 on total war.. 70+85 on doom 60 on hitman 2 I'm worried about new jedi fallen order, red dead 2 and cyberpunk next year. Thanks guys for the help.

This is going to be my second time building a Custom PC for Gaming (My first build being a very tight budget cheap pc for light gaming, fortnite, minecraft, R6 etc.) and now after spending lots of time doing research and learning more about all things PC related, I came up with a list of parts I'd like to use in my next build in hopes of giving me an upgrade path a few years ahead. I'm primarily going to be playing games at 1080p60 while also streaming my gameplay on twitch. I've narrowed my options for each component and added my preferred part on pcpartpicker (list below) and I'd appreciate some advice on if it's a good enough build for my needs, will it bottleneck, are there better parts for me to get instead, is there anything wrong etc. I'm almost at 100% of my budget so there's little room to get pricier options so I'd appreciate if it stayed under my budget limit. Here's my list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fhCqx6 CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard Asus PRIME X570-P ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Storage Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card Case NZXT Noctis 450 ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply Corsair RMx (2018) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Monitor Asus VG278QR 27.0" 1920x1080 165 Hz Monitor Additional advice I need: B450 Tomahawk Max or Asus Prime x570-P? TUF 1660 Super OC or 1660 Super Ventus XS OC or Zotac 1660 Super? Will I be able to upgrade to an RTX 3000 series card if I choose to in the future? Asus TUF Gaming K7 Optical-Mech or Corsair K68 RGB Mech? Is there any other compatible stylish looking cases you would recommend as the NZXT 450 seems to have scratching issues even though it looks really nice. Thankyou in advance for taking your time in helping me out if you choose to do so.

As the title suggests, I wanted to finalize these components in my next Pc build for 1080p60 gaming and streaming. I'd like to know if this is a good build from the limited parts available for me during covid. Also is an Asus 1660 Super Single Fan okay if the Gigabyte 1660 Super Triple Fan isn't available for me? Hey guys you probably got the idea thanks to the ridiculously long title of this forum post. I am looking into going into photography and still would like a decent camera that can put out 1080p60 when I need to record, not to mention the ability to use my Elgato camlink whenever I stream. And have some decent accessories like additional lenses and or a decent tripod. I shop on three sites Best Buy, Newegg, and Amazon. I'd prefer shopping through those retailers as much as possible. My budget runs around $1,500 U.S. but just going a couple dollars over the amount isn't going to bother me. I'm currently using skillshare to learn about photography as I'd like to have something to do as a hobby. And PS; times I plan to shoot are early mornings when the Sun is beginning to rise which is a low-light situation and midday. Thankyou!

As the title says, all of my recordings, no matter the game or recording software, look crappy when playing them back. My framerate in-game while i'm recording is fine, still 120+ in CS:GO etc. I mainly use MSI Afterburner to record. Here are my MSI Afterburner video settings: Example of a video recorded at these settings and uploaded to YouTube: http://youtu.be/_GPNksfMAjc? The resolution also looks shitty in the video but that could just be youtube's compression. This is what the properties of the file look like. As you can see, the framerate says 60fps: I have tried using OBS as well without result. I have drawn the conclusion that it has to be something going wrong when the video is encoded, since my framerate is fine ingame.
