Hi I'm getting a new pc soon and spent some time on pcpartpicker and want your advise if this is a good build or not or if something should be replaced, it's a $1600ish build (cannot go over $1700) and I will be getting mass storage later on. The build is for OC and gaming mostly. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/j6LVf8

Hey everyone I am looking for a couple suggestions to compare. We are trying to keep the price between $1600 -$1800 preferably around the middle ground $1700. The pc will be used for steaming and gaming. The only two thing that are necessary are the Lian-Li 011 case and a 2070 rtx super. With the Lian-Li case being able to hold up to 9 fans we are trying to stick with 3-6 rgb fans or maybe 3 with a 3 fan aio because of cost. We also prefer the motherboard to have WiFi. We are trying to pack in as much storage for the price as we want to be able to have room for videos and games. We are thinking 1-3 tb to start then he can add more later if needed. We are trying to stay away from a full water build as this will be a first time builder unless there is an easy longer lasting version. (We usually do are or aio builds) Somethings we are considering but are not needed: -SSD m.2 + mechanical -cool master 360 aio -cool master 120r rgb 3in1 case fans -650-750w power supply -intel i7 9700k -amd 7 3700x-3800x or 9 3900x -gskill trident z rgb 3600 ddr4 16gb (similar in price to 3200) Also we are located in Colorado so we will try to incorporate savings at our local micro center. This includes: open box motherboard and maybe Lian-Li case if available. This build will be done next month as there are some new cpus that should be released around then and may drop prices off current ones on the market. An example of what we are looking at or for: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $328.90 @ OutletPC CPU Cooler Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $129.99 @ Newegg Motherboard Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard $199.99 @ B&H Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory $99.99 @ Newegg Storage HP EX920 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $41.89 @ OutletPC Storage Seagate Barracuda 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $79.89 @ OutletPC Video Card Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB GAMING OC Video Card $549.99 @ Newegg Case Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case $119.99 @ Walmart Power Supply Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $99.99 @ Best Buy Case Fan Cooler Master MF120R ARGB 3in1 59 CFM 120 mm Fans $54.97 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1715.59 Mail-in rebates -$10.00 Total $1705.59 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-08-15 15:56 EDT-0400 Or PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $359.00 @ Amazon CPU Cooler Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $129.99 @ Newegg Motherboard Asus TUF Z390-PLUS GAMING (WI-FI) ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $165.99 @ Amazon Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory $99.99 @ Newegg Storage HP EX920 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $41.89 @ OutletPC Storage Seagate Barracuda 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $79.89 @ OutletPC Video Card EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB XC ULTRA GAMING Video Card $549.99 @ Best Buy Case Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case $119.99 @ Walmart Power Supply Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $99.99 @ Best Buy Case Fan Cooler Master MF120R ARGB 3in1 59 CFM 120 mm Fans $54.97 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1711.69 Mail-in rebates -$10.00 Total $1701.69 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-08-15 15:57 EDT-0400 Note these builds are the same except cpu and motherboard

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NBT3GX HELLO! I don't plan to overclock alot because I am not into toying around with something I will be spending alot of money on. Key things ... AMAZING FPS CAN DO HARSH TASKS QUIET WILL SURVIVE MORE THAN 8 years! Some of the things I still am complacent about is: 1.MotherBoard 2.Storage 3.Cooling 4.Ram 5.Psu I put them in Priority. I really care about the productivity in my computer! I have a 980ti because i wanted to build a computer around a strong GPU. The Cpu has hyperthreading .... I really like it. As for everything else ... its just what can fit where I think a SSD is a bit much for a Build where i wanna fit a 980ti in here Thus i had consideration for a 1Terabyte HHD ... as for the monitor ... 144hz at that price? I'll take it! PLEASE HELP ME MAKE IT SO THAT I CAN HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY IN MY POOR WALLET! ALSO! My actual Limit is 1$859! I put money away for a Desk, Keyboard, and such!

Ok so the problem is that for now I don't have enough $$ to buy myself a full PC setup (for now), but I have enough to buy CPU+MOBO+RAM (in Poland) Another thing is that I'm currently in Poland (sales tax can reach 20%) where PC parts are more expensive and next year I'll be going to the US (Oregon - so no sales tax) and some of the parts will be cheaper. My question is: Should I buy piece by piece and than put it all together eventually (here in Poland) or wait (will take me about a year to save up) until I go back to the USA and build the computer as a whole and bring it back? Here is the PC partpicker link for the US prices (I also don't want to wait for the mail in rebates so the price is about $1630 for the US price): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LDxKmG I have made the same list with the Polish prices in the screenshot (converted to USD for a easier comparison) ***NOTE: I don't need speakers and for me for now any old mouse and keyboard will do. If you have a suggestion PLEASE comment - I was thinking of getting a cheaper case (I would love for it to have window side panel)***

Helloooooooo LTT, So my friend is planning on building another PC soon as he sold his last one and has some more money now for another PC and the 1070 coming out. He said that he wants the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW edition when it comes out which is about 460 dollars (link to similar below). He has about $1500-1600 dollars to spend and that is including the about 460 dollar graphics card when it's available. Meaning he has $1100-1200 for the rest of his build. What is needed: - at least 16GB of ram (preferably DDR4) - preferably a black/white build - EVGA GTX 1070 FTW (edited below) - Does not need SSDs as he's got I think 3 intel SSDs (not sure exact model) - May need a hard drive He hasn't decided yet if he wants it in a small case such as the Corsair AIR 540 or in a mid tower case yet. So if anyone has any suggestions of a possible build that we can do with the following included that would be very much appreciated!! Link to possible GPU: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-6276-KR Thanks!!!

Hey guys, i'm planing to by a new computer at the end of this year, one because the one that i have now i have had for a while (about 7 years) it has an AMD athlon 64 X2 Dual core 4800+ and 2GB of DDR2 ram. And i'm finishing school this year so a good time to get one when i finish.i will be mostly using it for gaming, streaming, watching movies, very little photo editing, and maybe using it for folding at home from time to time. Here's what i had i mind (thinking i might get a next gen CPU for just that bit more) CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K = $ 269CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler = $34Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3= $145Ram GSkill 8G (4GX2) 1600 SR Ripjaws= $62Graphics card: Gigabyte Radeon 3G HD7950 = $325SSD&Hard dive: Samsung 840 Series 120GB & WD Caviar Black 1TB = $205Powersupply: Corsair HX-650 = $137Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 =$148Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit = $105Monitor: Samsung 24" Widescreen LED Monitor S24B300HS = $179Total = $1609 AU All prices from CPL Australia http://www.cplonline.com.au/ I think i do Want to over clock my CPU but not change the voltages. i really want this computer the last me as long as i can. (what do you think?) Some questions: 1.Can the HX650 be mounted facing down on the C70? 2. Is that Samsung monitor ok for just gaming and as a day to day monitor. 3. Is this computer good to do 1080 streaming(given that my internet can handle it) 4. should i stay with the CM 212 or another cooler? (if i am overclocking but not overvolting) 5. what is the difference between motherboard these days that are around the 150-170 price range , i didn't really look at much of the specs of this one as apposed to other ones in the same price range i just really liked it because i thought it would go well with the colour scheam. What am i missing out on?? 6. in terms of air flow. i want to have two Blue 120 LED fans in the very front so the colour comes through, then have one on the bottom blowing air to the graphics card. Here is what i don't know what to do. should i have another fan at the top? i think that it will almost "suffocate" the CPU cooler as they are both "fighting" for the air in the top part of the case. i don't know what to do here. 7. Is it worth overclocking your RAM?? AND graphics card too? 8. And lastly, are there dust filters on the C70 at the front and on the bottom?? Thank you guys so much for the big help in advance i hope some one can help me out. Thanks again
