Time to Go Home PS:Not this drone^^ Okay , it's a cheesy idea , but kinda cool to see stuff like this happening , A Japanese firm is proposing an idea to kick out over working employees on time for their own good by literally annoying them out of the door with an autonomous drone , The drone will fly through offices after hours playing Auld Lang Syne, which is commonly used to announce that stores are closing.To alert & annoy them to leave their post & go home, when it detects an over staying employee, it hovers over their head & keep playing the tune until they move away from their post. according to the firm employees tend to get lost in their office job & forget when the time to leave or sometimes deliberately overstay to do as much work as they can possible. T-Frend can take a pre-programmed flight across the office autonomously, using its sensors to navigate around walls and other obstacles while staying at a certain height to avoid papers flying up from its propellers. As well as an end-of-work alarm, T-Rend also functions as a security drone, filming surveillance footage and storing the data on an SD card. Cyber Kerchow Tesla Cybertruck hasn't entered into mass production , But even with that The Pre-orders have gone through the roof despite low expectations(thanks to memes). The Truck Boasting exceptional safety features such as stainless steel body & Bulletproof glass, Hard rock Chassis, Tough thick wide tires. It's basically an armor vehicle compared to regular & Off-road cars or even some mean looking SUV's. But ironically the same thing that makes it tough is apparently being put under scrutiny by some Safety Officials & Authorities as a hindrance to safety, For both the driver & the pedestrians. One of the main safety concern is pedestrians being hit by the truck & as you can expect from a tough stainless steel body & that almost sharp front side is tuff as hell(HARSH FRONT according to a commentator), According to current safety standards this needs to be soft almost pliable & collapsible when encountering an accident in order to reduce & lessen the effect of force driven injury to the pedestrian. The prototype with sharp steel front would most probably chop whoever standing in front into 2 with a given velocity. High Velocity & sharp front end design & 300-series stainless steel alloys, it is a brutal combo. (i mean look at this beast) This is somewhat can be fixed with a collapsible grill or a designed fender at front & it should pass the safety regulation feature. Which is what we can expect if the Truck ever passes the regulatory authority. Another concern is the lack of side/rear view mirrors, Although Tesla takes advantage of Hidden cameras at the Fenders at front (possibly at the back as well) the safety regulations insist the car should be having a visible side view mirror panel attached to the body (hidden camera for auto piloting & rear view) Another Concern is the tough Body in itself , meaning the the exteriors & chassis & whatnot, You can make it rock solid for safety reasons , But when it comes to real world applications an impact at very high velocity means the mass impact energy will be transferred to the occupants inside since the body doesn't absorb the impact force by properly deforming & absorbing the energy Onto the Next main concern, The odd protruding wheels , Safety Experts suggest that this could cause issues & put cyclists along with other motorists & pedestrians in harms way, this is kind of an obvious oneas thre design do look kinda like a monster truck version, safety would suggest that the tires align with the body so that it would not protrude out to put others in harms way. Another low key concern is the bullet proof glass , in an emergency if the door is stuck & the glass has to be broken/shattered in-order to gain access to the inside would be an impossible task. on the flip side though Robbers love this safety feature. go figure. (unbreak muh glass hart) & Onto to the next Safety concern "the Headlights". Although this is one of the main design feature of the cybertruck & brings the whole cars design aspect into looking modern & futuristic. safety experts suggest that this spreads out & scatters light without focusing light on the road. although the test drives showed the truck performing well with the built in light illuminating the road. the proper safety feature suggests that a vehicles headlights be able to focus strong on to a particular distance & with a certain intensity, Meaning an addition of Headlight Cluster affixed to the front of the car. It's a Safety Hazard alright! Anyways all of this & and a bunch of other minor feature stuffs are being scrutinized like windshield wipers which were absent in the prototype, improper shape of the vehicle,side indicators not being wide enough or present, rear fenders needing to be modified , steering wheel in relation to odometer placement etc. autopilot concerns & others. Plus the monopoly against this as an electric equalizer from the Gas Gang & also from competition who dont want to lose money. everything is obstructing the progress of this being a reality in some specific countries. Despite the Odd informal shape & supposed street legality, the pre-orders were pretty good & is expected to have record breaking sales for an electric vehicle. imo i think there are legit concerns that can be fixed & there are obstructive form of petty stuffs that is just a pointless nuisance , but as far as i'm concerned the car only needs a collapsible extended front end bumper & a good wiper & it's ready for the road! Tadaaa.....(Anniversary hiccups) Reportedly Millions of Windows 10 users who did the recent Anniversary update are discovering that their webcams are freezing up occasionally , even when trying to stream using Skype(Haha Microsoft). The issue is said to effect many popular webcams from big-name peripheral makers like Logitech on the hardware side, while numerous apps and services that rely on the codecs are being crippled from the software side. this was supposedly a decision the company made to prevent performance issues now that certain Windows apps have more direct webcam access post-update , But backfired Don't worry Elsa ,She's alright, it's just an update feature.. #LetTheUpdateGo Issue stems from the update having dropped support for two major compression format H.264 and MJPEG codecs , This issue impacted a wide variety of webcams including the popular Logitech C920,when a webcam tries to use MJPEG or H264, the device will freeze. after installing the update, Windows no longer allows USB webcams to use MJPEG or H264 encoded streams and is only allowing YUY2 encoding. Popopop-pop #GoodByeMadaPoppas Google is set to start punishing mobile websites which show show hard-to-dismiss popups and advertisements that hinder users experience , Google today announced two major changes related to its mobile search results. One of it being a plan to discourage mobile sites from using intrusive popups that are hindrance to users browsing experience , These websites will be ranked lower in the search query later on as punishment! The system would target overlays that gray out the content beneath them to prevent you from reading a website, either for a few seconds or until you find and very carefully tap a little X to dismiss them. These count regardless of whether they load immediately after a page is opened or whether they appear after scrolling a certain distance.these will be taken into consideration to make the call to push down the rank of the mobile website , Also the sites that ignore Google’s advice will no longer be considered “mobile friendly" An Example image of mobile website showing interstitials/pop-up/advertisements that make content less accessible (These mobile websites will be ranked down from the google recommendations) This user interface might be visible as the user logs in to the website or it's presented in the middle of the browsing experience which users manually has to dismiss , not to mention how clammy users will infact tap the damn link instead of closing it , this version of ads are easy on the eyes & doesn't completely take up screen real estate & can be considered light nuisance , But still is a nuisance Second Example of an intrusive popup (these sometime have misleading message that user is tricked into clicking thinking it's the actual website taking up 100% of the screen UI) This form of ad/popup takes up the whole screen of the mobile users , blocking the site view entirely & the ads or message is forced to be read , these form of advertisement is a hefty nuisance to user experience if you recall Third example of another intrusive pop up (multiple links within the ad) These are the main pop ups that google consider to be a hindrance for browsing on a mobile site & these sites will be ranked down from their search bubble filtered results , However google is only going after the sites which use this for promotional or ad revenue purposes , they are allowing similar pop ups if in which it carries information the user has to read or needs to know like Age verification , Legal Notice, Cookies info Example for intrusive pop-up window that is allowed But Google is still allowing Banner based ads , which the website owners can use , but given on how much it takes up & the less space on the overall screen that is reserved for ads regarding the content, it's considered acceptable Last year google conducted an experiment with intrusive advertisement on mobile website on which apparently 69% of the visitors left the site immediately after viewing the install app banner & only 8-9% of those actually clicked the ad to install the app rest just continued on after closing the ad manually An Example image of a banner ad that is allowed Another feature rolling out with this is kinda minor , but it removes the visual label that shows the site is mobile friendly It will not affect current users as it is set to be effective from January 10, 2017, i think it's a good action from google, but i don't think it'll be that effective in terms of site owners not wanting to loose ad revenue still continuing this ad pattern or might get worse with ads linked on every freaking paragraph just to get around this, What do you think about this? Post Your thoughts & comments down below.. #Rep'Lies' For much of the time, we rely on the good oll comment section & visual reviews(Youtube) & written reviews of a hardware product for our research purpose before we commit to buying a product, when you reserve your research criteria to "certain specifics" (first/best rated comment/popular reviewer/brand badge/site popularity & ranking) it seems to be always on the plus side mostly when it comes to certain popular companies (not naming any here & i'm not talking about a specific hardware) , Now i'm not talking about specifics , i mean as if a brand(new or old) product or a new hardware like a PC case is being pushed out as favorable by the majority (which in real world performance fails to reach that level of standard on what you saw or heard) When you broaden your research circle you get a lot more info that can be rather negative to what you've heard from the products earlier from the mainstream sometimes (example image of ) 5 star replies example feel as if the review reply sections are teeming with false reassurance of the product by seemingly "random" commenters from the internet , i feel like there's a legit foul play taking place when it comes to these areas , could be fixed review by an industry affiliate or company fed/payed reviewers , but if they even get a hold of 30-40%(rough estimate) of the entire reply as in representation of the product , it tends to mislead genuine buyers/researchers Samsung was caught up in a similar predicament last year or so when they hired people to write positive reviews for their phones who were being payed who had no experiences with the product , common sense will tell yo it's happening loosely, but these days the overall competition is tight & sellers would take any measures to sell their products & i feel as if most of the reviews which supposed to seem genuine might not be genuine at all . don't take it wrong , there are genuine people who are writing things that are often truthful & less exaggerated on a neutral tone , if huge companies take measure like these , pretty sure most of the companies who have nothing to loose use the reviews for basic marketing purposes , What do you think ? It also increases the possibility that drivers using Autopilot may not be engaged enough to to react quickly to emergency situations. The most serious of the Autopilot crashes happened in Florida on May 7. According to the accident report, 40-year-old Ohio resident Joshua Brown died in a collision near Williston, Fla., with a tractor trailer that was making a left turn in front of his Model S. Tesla later acknowledged that the car was in Autopilot mode at the time.
