Budget (including currency): +/- 3000 CHF (for pc) Country: Switzerland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Used mostly for gaming Other details Also looking for a monitor around 300.- , should have a decsent resoluiton (2560x1440) and 144-165hz Hey, I put together this build and I'm looking for suggestions/improvements. Im still missing some things like the mother board and the graphics card. For the Graphicscard i am looking forward to the rx 7900 xt or xtx, but for the motherboard i have no clue whats good. Also does it make sense to get an amd videocard and an intel cpu, or should i stick to full amd? https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/rJCTRv

I am making a build with Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and I was wondering if I could get away with 3200MHZ ram (as it comes included with motherboard)? So should I stick with the included ram, or buy 3600mhz ram? I've heard that 3800mhz cl14 ram is the best for 5800X3D but that stuff costs 500 bucks. The GPU isnt decided, but probably going to be old GPU (probably 10 series) till I can afford a proper probably 30 series card.

Budget (including currency): 25000 sek 22500 usd Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: League of legends, valorant, elden ring, photoshop, illustrator, premier Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm planning this build for the winter (around december) i currently have 2 monitors and plan to upgrade 1 of them to a 4k monitor (not included in budget) i don't have any current parts and I don't really want to upgrade my computer much in the coming years, I want to be able to play all those games at 144 fps at least, I've never built a pc in my life but i have people that have (i kinda just need help with parts). I've been considering both the coming 4080 and radeon 7000 but don't know enough about parts to see if they are worth it. I am upgrading from a i7 6700k and a gtx 1080. Thank you for any help i get this is a little terrifying as a project but i hope it work. Also color scheme would be awesome if i could either get black and purple or white and purple although not necessary just love purple.

Budget (including currency): RM7500-8000 Country: Malaysia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I currently play games like, Dota, Bioshock Infinite, God of War, Nier Automata, It Takes Two, Forza Horizon, and will mostly place games within these categories. And I use applications such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop quite often, but only as a hobby. I also appreciate good sound quality output from the PC, as I am also using the Logitech Z906 as my speakers now. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Only the PC is required because I am starting from nothing and have nothing to upgrade from, as I already a set of good speakers, mouse and keyboard (Logitech MX Masters 3S & MX Mechanical). Monitor (Viewsonic VA2932-MHD) is reasonable as well, which is not a priority. I hope that I can make a full black build, as I think that is the cleanest look for my set up. No RGB Is required. Not sure about the exact size of the PC that I need, but would definitely want something like the Fractal Torrent Nano/Compact, if possible. As the smaller size would be greatly appreciated, as real estate is slightly limited on my desk/floor. Currently, I have been running all my tasks and work on laptops, Asus GL752VW(Permanently mine), Asus FA701I(Not permanently mine) and a Macbook Pro 2020 13 Inch for work (Two Ports). And I am quite tired of the switching of everything, whenever I am doing different tasks between the two windows laptop. I actually have been wanting to have my own PC ever since I was a teenager, because I used to have my own back then, but it was shared between my brother and I, and it was placed in my living room. But ever since I have had my own room, I have just gotten laptops to save spaces, but the sound and heat dissipation is not efficient, and loud from the laptops. And is it even possible to build a PC, without the graphics card installed first, then later on, only adding one down the road, once everything else is set up in the PC itself? Would it still be functional? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I have been thinking about this for the longest times, but never really had the courage, as I know that PC components are really fragile, and I dont want to mess anything up. I have watched plenty of videos on youtube, but the combination of CPU, Motherboard and Graphics Card compatibilities are quite intimidating to me, as I am not sure which goes well with what without causing any bottlenecks. If are any requirements to have a look at my current set up, please just let me know, as I would be glad to share. Thanks to whoever spent their precious time in going through this and assisting me as well, it is very kind of you.

Budget (including currency): £1800 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warhammer 3, Doom, Mass Effect, Witcher 3, Triple A titles. Looking to work with neural networks, so VRAM will be important. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi All, I would be grateful for any and all advice. The budget is not a hard wall, however an ideal estimate. This will be a complete build, however I have monitors etc that will be upgraded as I save up more. I have a list below after lurking on the forum for a couple of days. PCPartPicker Part List: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jYs9nt The main questions I have: -The GPU has not been included in the pcpartpicker list. Would it be more reasonable to potentially skimp and buy a 12GB 3060 to then upgrade when the 40 series become reasonably priced or to bite the bullet and go for a 3070/3080? Would likely still look to pick up a 40 series in the case of picking up a 3070/3080. -Happy to go with DDR4. I would like to get opinions as to the likely savings in waiting until the next CPU generation is dropped. The GPU for my current setup has tanked and so would like to upgrade as soon as possible. I can be patient however if the latest generation would be incredibly beneficial. The hardware limitations would be concerning training the neural networks and so haven't really gone in to depth regarding gaming specs. Would just like to know that the parts are best bang for my buck! Happy to answer any questions!

Budget (including currency): $2500 - $3000 AUD Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly for gaming, although I don't currently play games that require high graphics I would still love to have the option there if I choose to in future. I am also a graphic designer so need a computer that would run Adobe Programs with ease. Other details (I've attached my current list) and am planning on buying at the end of the year/early next year, I already have a monitor that supports up to 1440p. Will also need to purchase an OS https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/3wTkqm This is also the link to the build!

Budget (including currency): 2000dollar equivalent Country: india Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mainly video editing, premiere pro and after effects and adobe audition. Other details: New build, graphic card: rtx 3080 12gb, was waiting for ryzen 7000 launch news, n it seems 7000 series will be expensive and also needing more tdp, so as an individual creator (new) i wanna make an 5900x system, mainly for creation with hardly ever playing games. Please suggest if i should buy 5900x now or wait for 7000 release (will that make 5900x's price drop even more?)

Budget (including currency): around 4-5000 € Country: Italy Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Primarily physics simulation (and possibly games of the like of Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Elder ring etc). Most of the simulations runs on 2-4 threads. At some point I will venture in the realm of GPU-based simulations Other details: Peripherals are also needed (monitor, keyboard and mouse). Not really an expert monitor wise, and I accept to compromise on it for now with the possibility of upgrading in the future. Also, about 50% of the usage will be done remotely. For the operating system, I would stay on Windows, using something like WSL to connect in ssh and actually run the simulation program. Ideally memory start from 32GB. Any advice on the actual components? I'm really a noob when it comes to hardware. Thank you for any input!!

I've been planning to build a PC and have a huge upgrade from my previous one , i now own a razer blade 15 GTX 1060 for the past 5 years or so, and prior to that one i had built a GTX 1070 PC. I currently need help to find the best parts for me , i would consider my self a casual gamer who likes to play modern games, but i am also a working student in Communication and Media. So I'll need a PC around my budget , which can operate in both worlds, in gaming and editing.
