Budget: usd $1500. Country: Nicaragua (a very very hot and humid country in central america). Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: work related: VS code, Remote Desktop connection, many tabs open in chrome. For gaming: Valorant, LoL, Fall Guys. Other details: I'm coming from a Dell G3 laptop with an i5 8gen, 8GB of RAM and a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. I already have peripherals and a Monitor (27' 144Hz 1440p). I might buy another monitor at a later date. I just want to play at 1440p at 100+ fps refreshing at 120Hz minimum. Aesthetics and RGB are very important. Finally I'll leave the build I have put together on pcpartpicker. The idea is to build this pc in the following 3 months. Appreciate the help in advance.

Budget (including currency): ~2k Depends on starting fresh or upgrading current setup Country: United States, Arizona if anyone knows places for deals Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe Suite: Lightroom, illustrator, premier pro. 3d Modeling programs: blender, meshmixer, fusion360 Games: BF 2042, AC titles, No Mans Sky, ARK Other details looking to buy now and over the next few months with all of the sales. Hi All, So I’m at a bit of a crossroads with my PC and not sure if its worth upgrading a few major components or just go for a fresh start and go all new outside of storage and RAM. My current setup is listed below and while it works well I find myself running into bottlenecks or seeing performance issues with some new programs I’m running. Im not playing games as much on my PC ever since I got myself a present with a PS5 and LG C1 last year but I still play BF2042, some newer AC games, No Mans Sky and want to get into ARK with some buddies. Overall performance was great until I got my 4k monitor and playing some of these on my ultrawide give me motion sickness ☹. Where I have been starting to see issues is with some of the 3d modeling and photo/video editing programs I have been starting to use. Im not doing anything crazy in terms of 3d modeling but I have been trying to create my own 3d printing models or remix ones I find(when allowed by creator) and when I have been trying to use Blender, Fusion 360, Meshmixer or even tinker cad. These programs will be clunky, slow to respond or even just crash. I am also seeing issues when im trying to run some adobe products like lightroom, illustrator and premier pro where im seeing slowness, stuttering and just extremely long wait times. I wasn’t sure if this was just how these tools work with the file sizes I was using since im pretty new to premier pro but I tried it in a base spec 2018 macbook pro and wasn’t having the same issues. I know it’s not and apples to apples comparison but something I wanted to test. I have gone through and checked my hardware and ran tests to see if there was a problem child and nothing came back as a cause of concern. I think it’s just a case of hardware isn’t optimized for what im now doing compared to when I built it a couple of years ago. It’s still a great PC and does most everything I need but with my 3d printing/designing business gaining steam I think its times to upgrade. It will be used probably 90% of the time for my business so I am able to deduct some costs from come tax time according to my tax guy which makes spending a little more easier. I figure I can also part things out for a few hundred dollars to help offset costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Im thinking that a 4070 would be a good GPU for what im trying to do and for future proofing(for at least a bit) but have no preference between team Red or Blue. Its just been so long since i've done a deep dive into a build and wouldn't know what CPU/GPU pair would be best. I also dont have any aversion to buying some parts used or refurbished. I know thats sacrilege to some people but I have had great success doing this in the past.

PC build for arround 2k€ jul/aug/sep 2023
DankPCMasterRace posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Budget (including currency): Around 2000€ Country: EU Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Photoshop, premiere, blender, overwatch, csgo, valorant, ark, GTA5 Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm building an entirely new ATX size system for around 2000€ targeted gaming at 1440p 144hz, planning on buying it in the next 2/3 months around July/August/September 2023. I would really like an Rtx 4000 series and an i7 processor at least, DDR5 RAM if possible since I'm planning on keeping the system for the next 5+ years. All recommendations are welcomed except for a case I'll buy one in a local store. Thanks in advance -
Hi Everyone, I'm looking for what I should upgrade in my current PC. I mostly use it for Gaming, networking, internet browsing, streaming. I don't have much of a budget and built this PC pre-Covid as a home workstation and Gaming replacement for console gaming (PS4 and Switch) I'm wondering if I need to start with a better powersupply before I look at graphics card. I would like to get to 1440p with a decent FPS if possible. Also am I bottlenecking anything? This is my first post, so I'm not sure yet how I'll see your responses. But Thank you for taking some time to consider helping me. Regards Budget (including currency): Around $500 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Destiny 2, Apex Legends, Minecraft, Core Keeper, Dinkum, Dredge, Internet Browsing, Online Classes, Zoom, Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Computer Specs Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk Max CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GVKC Memory: Samsung SSD 860 QVO 1 TB HDD: 2 TB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB Power Supply: 500 Watt basic model Monitor: Acer - XF270H 27" LED FHD FreeSync Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB) - Black

I'd please like for someone who's free to create me a pc part list for my budget £2000 GBP. The only request I have is for the PC to be visually good looking. Maybe an NZXT case would do good but I'll do whatever. Thanks.

Budget (including currency): $2000 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Apex Legends, video/audio editing, twitch/youtube/facebook streaming, Starcraft Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WvTqtn Here's the build list I have come up with. Any edits or substitutions and feedback would be appreciated. Thank you! Also a mouse n keyboard suggestion is needed.

Budget (including currency): $1700 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: APEX LEGENDS, video/audio editing, voice acting, STARCRAFT, and TWITCH/YOUTUBE/FACEBOOK streaming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Aiming for high FPS 1440p gaming with 4k capabilities. Decided on building around a 6800XT and 5800X3D. Also decided on a Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case. I have bought my monitor already. ASUS TUF Gaming 27" 2K HDR Monitor (VG27AQ1A) - QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS, 170Hz Need Motherboard, Cooler, Power Supply, OS, Storage, Memory and MNK. Can anyone assist with providing a good build? This will be my first build, I have never dove into technology like this before. Thank you.

Budget (including currency): At least $2000 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games City Skylines, Victoria 2-3, Crusader Kings 3, Europa Universalis. Programs Sketch up, Solid works, Autocad Other details: Hey folks, thank you so much in advance to anyone who's willing to help me. So I'm planning to build my first PC, but I'm also not in a rush to get it done. Currently I'm using a baseline MSI GF 63 laptop, when I bought it I wasn't earning much money and it was the best I could do, I've since gotten a different job and can afford a better rig. My main reason for wanting to upgrade is because my laptop really starts to struggle with pretty much any workload I'm asking of it, my fault for asking too much of it. My aim is to build a PC solely for playing the above games or games of that style, mostly city builders or grand stratagy. I don't play shooters or open world RPGs on PC. I also would like it to be able to handle sketchup, Autocad and solid works with extensions pretty well. I'm planning on only having one monitor, and just using a keyboard and mouse. I'm looking to make it overpowered just to make it a wee bit more future proof. I'm also admittedly pretty clueless so please call me out on wherever I'm going wrong. These are some of the parts I've been looking at, and my current price range per part. GPU: GeForce RTX 3070 Ti AMP Extreme Holo (or other recommendation around $600) CPU: I'm torn between Intel I5 13600k ($320) Intel I9 13900k ($600) Or recommendations between $300-600 I did see a bundle of an I5 13900k and a TUF 790 plus motherboard for $600 Motherboard: I'll admit this is where I'm most clueless and lost. Willing to spend what's needed, maybe capping out at $400-500 RAM: I'm looking for at least 32GB, with a budget of $200-400 SSD: I'm thinking at least 2TB, could certainly be persuaded to go to 4TB, with a budget of about $200-400 PSU: Also pretty lost to be honest, looking to spend whatever is necessary I'm totally open on Cases and not too bothered on how it looks aesthetically, more worried about cooling than anything else. Same goes for the CPU cooler. I really really appreciate any and all feedback. Completely open to learning the best course of action from here on out. Thank you so much for any help you're able to give me, it means a lot!

Hello! I have been a pc gamer since about 2020 (all of which took place on a pretty slow Samsung desktop lmao), and have finally decided to start building my own pc! I have all my pieces picked out, and would just like some opinions/recommendations on the things I have! I am doing a pink and white build, and I love rgb lol. My budget is around $1,500. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s input! Thanks so much!

I built my pc with msi b450m pro vdh wifi motherboard, amd ryzen 5700x, and XFX SPEEDSTER SWFT309 AMD Radeon RX 6700 CORE Gaming gpu. When I switched it on, ram light started blinking and it is not going to vga. I removed gpu and switched the cpu on and the light stopped on vga (i.e., the cpu is asking for gpu connection). With this in mind, I thought there is a problem with the graphic card and replaced it. I got the same gpu and installed it again in the motherboard. Initially same problem occurred where light is stopping at ram. But suddenly vga light is on and pc started, there was a message regarding memory, I think it was an error message but couldn't fully read it as it proceeded for windows installation and I was installing windows via usb. But suddenly it stopped and screen turned black and ram light is blinking. When I restarted the power, ram light is blinking and pc is not starting. I am unable to understand where the problem. Is the gpu which was a replaced new one not working again or is it the motherboard. Please help anyone!!!! The craziest part is how can a pc turn on, asking to install windows and then suddenly the display goes off and then when I try to turn it on again, ram light is blinking. Shouldn't the pc even turn on and let alone ask you to intall windows when there is a defective ram? Whats the possibility that ram is defective or the ram slot or gpu slot in the motherboard be defective? Please HELPP!!!

Hello guys, I need your help to build a PC that will serve me for the next 5+ years. I know the PC assembly process, the components, their roles and importance, but I know all that to some extent in practice and a little less in theory (especially when it comes to cooling and aesthetics). For this reason, I would appreciate your experiences, opinions, suggestions and the like. I would be very grateful if someone could take the time to help me. I mostly use the PC for work. I am a Graphic Designer and the programs I use the most are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Webflow, etc. I often have 10+ tabs opened in Chrome with one or two of the Graphic Design programs, so I would like to have 32GB of RAM so that I don't have problems with multitasking. I've had a bigger case before, so I'd like a Mini ITX this time around. I like that it doesn't take up too much space and is easily portable when needed. It is important for me to have a good Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection because with the previous build the cables drove me crazy. I also have a laptop, so it is much easier for me to switch from one machine to another if all the devices are wireless (mouse, keyboard, headphones, etc.). I have an external hard drive that I often transfer from one device to another, so it is important to me that the motherboard and the case have a front USB-C port. Since I am a designer, aesthetics are important to me. I like minimalism, I'm not a big fan of RGB, but I wouldn't want my case to be completely dark either. I occasionally play CS:GO, so I'd like it to be fluid (300+ FPS). So, these are some of my choices. I would like you to help me and advise me what I could change. Where to save money, and where to spend a little more. Is there something which is overkill for my needs, do I maybe need to add more fans or coolers, etc. This is the PC Part Picker List. I decided to build the machine around an Intel i5-12400F. After watching YouTube videos and suggestions on various sites, I concluded that this is the best budget option that will do the job properly. I chose the ASUS ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi motherboard because it fits the ITX build and has USB-C ports on the front and back. Since I plan to use this computer for more than 5 years, I've decided that I'm in favor of a board that supports DDDR5 memory, but I'm not sure it's necessary. For memory, I chose Kingston Fury 32GB DDR5 5600MHz CL36. I'm not sure if that's too much. Maybe I should go with the DDDR4 one or stay on DDDR5 but with lower speed or something. SSD Samsung 1TB 980 Pro w/ Heatsink 4.0 NVMe™. For this one I'm pretty sure it's a good choice. I noticed that the Fighter AMD Radeon™ RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 is a good recommendation, so I put it in my build. For cooling there is Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler as a popular solution, and Thermaltake Toughpower SFX 600W Gold 600 W 80+ Gold as the first one I came across that matches the rest of the components. The case is Jonsbo V8 Mini ITX Desktop Case because it is the closest to my taste among the options on PC Part Picker. I like something like HYTE Revolt 3, Sparrow MQ5, Jonsbo Bo 100, IQUNIX ZX-1, Lian Li Q58, etc. Please, feel free to suggest me if some components are a complete failure or if you think there are better options than the ones listed. None of the components on the list are strict, except maybe the process around which I built the machine. Thank you in advance for your time and help. Best regards, Aleksandar

Powersupply for new PC Build Hi from germany! I'm searching for a PSU for my upcoming 2023 build. The center of my build will be the 4070ti (also known as the not 4080 12gb) and a intel i5-13600k. How much watt should I buy? Is there a rule I can base my decisions on in the future, when buying an PSU? PSU recommendations are also welcome. I wish u all happy holidays!

Budget (including currency): $500 usd is maximum, I would prefer to get closer to $400 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Davinci Resolve Video editing & Games like Just Cause 3, Black ops 3, Battlefield 4, GTA V, Batman Arkham Knight I already have a 2tb m.2 ssd and a 1tb 2.5inch ssd. I edit videos in 1080p 30fps and play games is 1080p 60fps. I plan on buying in January when they have sales after Christmas. I don't plan on getting a graphics card until further down the line, so for the time being I would be using integrated graphics to game and video edit. I currently use an editor called powerdirector which can work okay off of integrated graphics and I want a processor which will work well with Davinci Resolve later down the line as I have seen that there is a feature where you can swap between integrated and gpu encoding depending on which does it better. I work in h.264 encoding. I think on the amd side my best bet would be a 5600g or a 5700g and on the intel side I'm not sure. (keep in mind I plan on waiting and getting the processor at sale price) I'm not sure whether I should get 32gb of 3600mhz dual channel ram or 4000mhz dual channel ram (I'm getting so much ram because I know davinci resolve works better with more than 16gb ram) I also don't know what motherboard to get depending on amd and intel, I need wifi as I don't have ethernet near my desk I also want at least 1 m.2 slot, 4 sata connections (for 2.5 ssd, 2x 3.5 hdd, 1 internal blu ray drive which I will get down the line) When initially starting of I will only be using a 2 tb m.2 ssd and a 1tb 2.5inch ssd. I haven't ever built before as I've only used laptops in the past. My previous pc is a used laptop with an i7 6700hq, 16gb ram, and a 980m 2gb. You might be wondering why I don't just get stuff during the black friday sales. The reason why I haven't is because my laptop just started to break down (the motherboard and gpu are going bad) and I don't want to rush in and get inferior parts. I'd rather wait and do it right.

Im still missing some things like the mother board and the graphics card. For the Graphicscard i am looking forward to the rx 7900 xt or xtx, but for the motherboard i have no clue whats good. I am making a build with Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and I was wondering if I could get away with 3200MHZ ram (as it comes included with motherboard)? So should I stick with the included ram, or buy 3600mhz ram? I've heard that 3800mhz cl14 ram is the best for 5800X3D but that stuff costs 500 bucks. The GPU isnt decided, but probably going to be old GPU (probably 10 series) till I can afford a proper probably 30 series card.

I've been considering both the coming 4080 and radeon 7000 but don't know enough about parts to see if they are worth it. I am upgrading from a i7 6700k and a gtx 1080. Budget (including currency): £1800 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warhammer 3, Doom, Mass Effect, Witcher 3, Triple A titles. Looking to work with neural networks, so VRAM will be important. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi All, I would be grateful for any and all advice. The budget is not a hard wall, however an ideal estimate. This will be a complete build, however I have monitors etc that will be upgraded as I save up more. I have a list below after lurking on the forum for a couple of days. PCPartPicker Part List: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jYs9nt The main questions I have: -The GPU has not been included in the pcpartpicker list. Would it be more reasonable to potentially skimp and buy a 12GB 3060 to then upgrade when the 40 series become reasonably priced or to bite the bullet and go for a 3070/3080? Would likely still look to pick up a 40 series in the case of picking up a 3070/3080. -Happy to go with DDR4. I would like to get opinions as to the likely savings in waiting until the next CPU generation is dropped. The GPU for my current setup has tanked and so would like to upgrade as soon as possible. I can be patient however if the latest generation would be incredibly beneficial. The hardware limitations would be concerning training the neural networks and so haven't really gone in to depth regarding gaming specs. Would just like to know that the parts are best bang for my buck! Happy to answer any questions!
