And for some reason all the best components have the highest shipping cost - like the nzxt H500 which shipping costs more than 200$ shipping). P.S: For all of you people that think I am stupid for building an intel pc RN, I get you it is a super stupid thing to do. But I am waiting for the new RYZEN chips to drop so I could plan a RYZEN system and compare. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am about to try and upgrade my PC myself. This is the first time for me doing a build/upgrade. I do gaming streaming, edit videos and photos and play games mostly. I've seen some videos on YouTube but was just wondering if someone could help me with the following questions please. Here is a list of my old parts and the ones upgrading to: AMD FX9590 -------------- AMD Ryzen 9 3900X RAM DD3 32GB ---------- RAM G.SKILL F4 16GB DDR4 3600Mhz Dual Channel MSI 990FXA Gaming --- MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Strix Radeon RX480 ---- AMD RX 5700 XT Corsair H110i ------------- Corsair AX1500i --------- The Ryzen 9 comes with a Wraith Prism - should I just use that or keep using the H110i instead? Also, can I just use my current SSD + HDD without having to format them or do I need to format them due to the components upgrades? If there's any videos in particular you think would help me on my attempt or if you have any suggestions/comments that would please let me know as it is much appreciated. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and super grateful for anyone that replies of course.

So I'm planning on building a PC for my fiance, he mostly just plays minecraft and the sims, but his Minecraft experience is very poor, and I feel like he'd play a lot more games if he had the equipment to do it on. He's also an artist and wants to get into animation. Now I'm doing this parts and ideas list at work so I can't do a PCPartPicker list, only a Newegg/Amazon list. So what I've planned out so far is: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L Micro ATX Tower https://www.newegg.com/black-cooler-master-masterbox-q300l-micro-atx/p/N82E16811119331?Item=N82E16811119331 ASUS PRIME B450M-A https://www.newegg.com/asus-prime-b450m-a/p/N82E16813119174?Item=9SIA85VAJ32602 AMD RYZEN 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-5-2600/p/N82E16819113496?Item=9SIA85V7BW5521 Team T-Force Delta RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 https://www.newegg.com/team-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820331039?Item=N82E16820331039 PowerColor RED DRAGON Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 AXRX 580 8GBD5 (Though I may get this for me and give him the 1060Ti I'm using now) https://www.newegg.com/powercolor-radeon-rx-580-axrx-580-8gbd5-3dhdv2-oc/p/N82E16814131720?Item=N82E16814131720 Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB 7200 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" https://www.newegg.com/seagate-barracuda-st2000dm008-2tb/p/N82E16822184773?Item=N82E16822184773 Silicon Power Ace A55 2.5" 256GB SATA III 3D TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) https://www.newegg.com/silicon-power-ace-a55-256gb/p/N82E16820301380?Item=N82E16820301380 Cooler Master Master Watt 650W Semi-Fanless Silencio Fan, Semi-Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply https://www.newegg.com/cooler-master-masterwatt-series-mpx-6501-amaab-us-650w/p/N82E16817171113 And then this is optional but instead of the stock cooler: Enermax Aquafusion 240 ELC-AQF240-SQA 240mm AIO CPU Cooler https://www.newegg.com/enermax-aquafusion-240-liquid-cooling-system/p/N82E16835214099?Description=240mm AIO&cm_re=240mm_AIO-_-35-214-099-_-Product Any better recommendations would be very welcomed. Hello, I am new to the PC building game and was recommended this forum for help! The Plan: I am planning on building a PC with a possible budged of around 900$ to $1000 it's OK if your recommendation is a little more pricey that, but try not to go under the limit, that's fine too but I want a medium to high end PC. I want the PC to be able to play games like GTA 5, and Beam.NG Drive. Both games seeming to take a lot of power to run. And I would like to be able to run those games with high FPS. Monitors: I plan on running no more than two or three monitors, I would like DVI inputs on my PC and not HDMI as I would more likely use my monitors I already own which take DVI inputs. But if the PC has to have HDMI plugs that's fine with me. Peripherals: I am not going to buy and Peripherals with the budget, only PC parts. Why am I upgrading: I am Upgrading my PC because the one I use now, full of very old parts, will not run nearly any modern games at a decent fps, even at the lowest settings. If you have any questions, ask away! Thanks for the help! P.S. The images are the recommended requirements for the two games, I would like similar or better parts listed here. If it goes way over the budget let me know please, and thanks!

Ok so here me out i have been reading alot of topics on this LTT forum, and i am kinda curious how fun and worth it would be to build in an original Nintendo GameCube would it be worth it,would it be worth the money and fun to build an ITX form factor into a Nintendo GameCube console? The final question is...can it be done and can it be either a liquid cooled or watercooled?

Hi, I am planning on upgrading my computer and after a couple of reading and some videos here's the build that I came up with. I'm plan on buying them piece by piece as I have a habit of buying something that I don't really need if I know I can afford it. I plan on spending around $1,500 tops for the upgrade CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - $223.67 FAN: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Turbo - $43.35 GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 Armor OC 8gb - $333.29 SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 250GB - $70.00 HDD: Seagate Ironwolf 1TB - $68.59 RAM: Trident Z 16gb RGB 3000 - $172.62 MBD: MSI B450M Mortar - $105.00 PSU: (kindly suggest a PSU that can cater to the hardware, I'm also planning on going for a dual monitor but probably that would be by the 2nd quarter of this year) Total: $1016.52 I had it roughly translated from our currency to USD based on google's conversion. Initially I was planning on getting the 2600x but I would need to have it shipped internationally as it isn't being sold here locally and based on the reviews that I've read they mostly say that if you are not planning on overclocking then better spend the extra cost for a CPU fan. I am also hesistant about the RAM, since without the RGB, specifically RipJaws 16gb 2400 is $50 cheaper than the Trident Z one, though the clockspeed is lower. Not really sure if it is worth spending the $50 for or I could just put it towards somewhere else. Also if you could possibly suggest a case for it? I was originally aiming for a black and white build, but given the available Motherboards here, I guess I'll have to stick to a white and red theme. With that if you could possibly suggest a white case? or if not a white and red case? or better yet, a motherboard that goes well with black and white. About monitors, I've read somewhere that if I wanted a higher refresh rate monitor, it would be best if my hardware is capable of say of maintaining atleast 144 fps for games to better utilize a 144hz monitor at 1080p. Otherwise it would be best to either buy a 60hz or 75hz monitor. I'm not really sure about that so if you could enlighten me more as I wanted to get a new monitor as well. As for things that I would do. I work from home and I believe that it's not that demanding since with my current computer can handle all of the things that I am doing, a dialer, a pile of excel sheets, then multiple tabs. Apart from that I would like to play games with it as well, if possible GTA V, RE2 Remake, The Witcher 3, Monster Hunter World and some older titles like the FEAR trilogy, Skyrim perhaps. In general, would I be able to play games with it without any hiccups in 1080p for the build above? One last thing, I'm planning to buy the GPU first, and by doing so would it be fine if I would use it with this setup that I have: i3 550, 8gb ram. I just wanted to replace my current GPU asap, it is an HD 5400 1gb ddr3. And buy the other parts for the next couple of months? So there, thank you for taking the time to read this and apologies if there are any typos or grammatical errors as english is not my first language.

Hi All, I am working on building my first Gaming PC. I found a few parts and was looking for suggestions. I would like to keep it in the $1000-$1500 range. Uses: 1. Gaming 2. Streaming Currently I am only concerned with the PC Tower itself. I don't need any extra Peripherals. Suggestions I am looking for: 1. Is there a better part then the one I picked out in a similar price range? 2. Will any of the parts I picked be an issue? I'm gonna say 'Hi' here like it says. So... Hello! A good friend introduced me to computer building during my freshman year in high school (2016), and I learned a lot about how computers were put together with his help. We had a lot of spare time in our keyboarding class, so we spent it mostly drooling over imaginary computers we put together on the System Builder. I loved repairing/building/upgrading friends and family member's computers and still do to this day, but it was my sophomore year around Christmas when I would finally get my own. My parents took notice of my interest in computers and decided to let me give them a parts list rather than a Christmas list that year. This was my first computer build and is still the one I use today. Other than small modifications I make here and there to increase performance, my first build is still holding strong

As the title says, my dad's home PC is horribly bottlenecked. With a Core i3 2120, DDR3 RAM, a ten year old micro-ATX motherboard, and a Gigabyte Three-Fan GTX 1080 all crammed into a prebuilt-style tower, the bottleneck is legitimately painful. My question was, were he to sell the GPU and build a better all-rounder, what replacement parts would you guys recommend within, or close to, the sale price of a good quality but used 1080?

I KNOW!!! PC building simulator isn't insanely accurate as far as how close it is to building a PC in real life. BUT! How accurate is the simulator in simulating PC performance? If I build a computer in the game, and build an identical computer in real life... Will the benchmarks on 3D Mark be similar to the real life rig, and will over clocking performance equal real life output with the settings set the same? Any one have PC builds that are able to be repeated inside PC Build simulator and run benchmarks in both to give comparison? Basically, for very simple performance comparisons of different build options, how much can PC build simulator be used as a test bed without breaking the bank?
