This Week's Anime! Space Battleship Yamato 2199 Synopsis The year is 2199. The human race has been crushed in their war with the Gamilos, driven into underground cities by the invader's assault. Scientists estimate they have only a year left. The young officers Susumu Kodai and Daisuke Shima receive a mysterious capsule from a ship that made an emergency landing on Mars and return with it to Earth. It contains humanity's last hope: the planet Iscandar on the other side of the Magellan Galaxy has the technology to defeat the Gamilos and restore the planet. This Weeks Anime! Death Parade Synopsis After death, humans go to either heaven or hell. But for some, at the instant of their death, they arrive at the Quindecim, a bar attended by the mysterious white-haired Decim. He challenges them to the Death Game, wherein they wager their lives and reveal their true natures. Decim himself is the ultimate arbitrator of who wins and who loses, who lives and who dies. After death, humans go to either the eternal void or are reincarnated. However, where there's doubt as to were to place some occasional souls, these instead arrive at bar Quindecim, with no memories of having died. Decim, the bartender, challenges them to the Death Game, wherein they wager their "lives" and reveal their true natures. Decim himself is actually an arbiter in charge of deciding the fate of those that arrive at Quindecim - by pulling the darkness from deepest within them, he judges their ultimate fate. Posting this is general since I am not sure if it's news or off-topic. The OS-tan for Windows 10 has been revealed! They did this a few days ago but I didn't hear about it until now. She doesn't have a name right now so fans are free to submit suggestions starting June 19th. You get a wallpaper with the character as a thanks for submitting a name, and 5 people will a drawing signed by Ai Nonaka (who does the voice for the new OS-tan). For the anime fans out there, she did the voice for Fuuko (Clannad) and Kyouko (Madoka) among many others. This Weeks Anime! Jormungand Synopsis The series follows Koko Hekmatyar, a young arms dealer who sells weapons under HCLI, an international shipping corporation that secretly deals in the arms trade. As one of the company's unofficial weapon dealers, she secretly sells weapons in many countries while avoiding the local authorities and law enforcement as most of her work is actually illegal under international law. Traveling with her is her team of bodyguards who are mostly composed of ex-military veterans. Her latest addition to her crew is Jonah, a seemingly emotionless child soldier who is skilled in combat yet ironically hates arms dealers. Jonah joins Koko as he wishes to find the arms dealer responsible for his family's death. What follows is Koko and her crew's escapades around the world. Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova Current This was suggested by @Digital Brit sayin "I thought this anime was pretty awesome because I'm generally a sucker for sci-fi. I found the story to be consistent, with no random plot holes or side-plots that never got resolved. There is a clear goal set at the start and they go with it to the end. While it is a CGI anime it's done very well, at some points it is more noticeable than others but most of the time it works."

I'm sorry if this topic doesn't belong here, i couldn't find any better place for it. So, i've been working really hard to make funny textaloud-powered videos for Youtube, but every single time i think i'm close to actually release a video, there's something i still have to learn and i finally reached the point in wich i think i need to start making some animations instead of just playing with Premier P and stuff. Parasyte -the maxim- Current This was suggested by @Marvzl1357 saying "It's about a guy called Shinichi (translation: new one) whose right arm is taken over by a "parasyte" that was actually aiming to take over Shinichi's brain in order to control his whole body, but failed, hence why it's stuck in his right arm. He still has control of his right arm, but it now can "transform" under the control of the "parasyte". Together, Shinichi and his right arm have to expose the secrets of the "parasytes" to the world while remaining hidden themselves and protecting those around him. Parasytes have the potential to be very smart, while some stay barabaric. Hint: it's the smart ones that cause the better drama in the show. I got hooked on this show because the story is great, and the action is too. It's not yet complete, but there's 12 episodes live now on anilinkz."

Hey guys! So I'm trying to make a spreadsheet listing all of the anime I have on my external hard drives and there's a couple of things I'd love help with. Firstly, here's the WIP spreadsheet if anybody wants to see it. Before I start with what I need help with, I'll quickly say how I made the spreadsheet. Basically I used a program called File Names Export, which creates a CSV file of the files in a directory (and subdirectory if you choose). It's quite a handy tool that doesn't require an installation. So here's where I need a little help. Question 1: Some of the file sizes FNE reported are incorrect and there's NO WAY I'm manually going through every episode and movie and typing it up. Does anybody know a tool that will accurately do what FNE does? It's mostly just the file sizes I want, whether it's in Bytes or MB doesn't matter. Question 2: The same as question one but for getting the CRC for each file in all of the subdirectories? The point is I can't do this directory by directory or file by file... Tested with Anime Checker and will go with that when I have time. Any help or advice would be appreciated!
