im more into tight punchy bass that smacks you in the chest, not so much on the rattly shaky bass. I don't want to be that guy shaking the neighborhood but when the right song is on it can never get loud enough

I just Photoshopped it, MSI didnt deliver on their 780 lightning so i gave up on my color scheme and went with the 780 classy. So while it looks awesome, it never got done. so anyone on here know much about car audio? if not maybe you can help me with this question anyway. im looking into installing a sound system in my car, it would have 4 alpine SPR-68 and an alpine SWR-823D 8" woofer. the door speakers are rated at 4ohm impedance and 100 watt RMS im powering the system with the Alpine MRX-v70X series amp. the amp is rated for 60 watt RMS x 4 and 250W RMS to the sub, is this sufficient to drive this system? I mean the system will run with this configuration im just wondering if im going to get the preformance from the door speakers if im onlly pumping 60W RMS when there rated for 100W. im not really into blowing the windows in around the neighborhood i just want my system to be crisp and punchy.

yea he HAS an external drive already but hes telling me he cant edit directly from that external drive, imovie is filling up his ssd instead of just using the hard drive. if i wasnt across the state i could probably figure it out.

well thats what i thought but when i asked him if he tried it he told me that imovie loaded the clips onto his internal drive. i mean hes using a mac so i dont expect him to know how to tinker with things, im thinking it has to be possible to edit clips from an external drive but it is imovie.....

so my brother just texted me looking for a bigger ssd because when he edits videos on his mac book the clips completely fill up his hard drive. Is there a way to edit video stored on an external drive so he doesn't have a to buy a new ssd?

so i just disconnected the wired connection and ran a speed test on the wireless connection and my numbers jumped from 6.24 up 6.00 down to 33.45 up and 13.96 down.... i don't know why but the wireless connection seems to be much better than the wired... this thing is all over the place, when i re ran it my upload droped to 18.16 and my download to 1.42.. da faq is going on here

So recently ive noticed that while playing LoL on campus my connection lags horrible making the game unplayable. im a senior and haven't had a problem with the network like this in the 3 previous years ive been going to school here. While im at school the campus network throttles torrent downloading, i dont get speeds over 50 kb/s and usually the speed is less than 10 kb/s. is there any way to get around this, other downloads are usually at speeds of like 2 mb/s. how can i get around this?

its a little too late from MSI, they had everyone waiting around for the 8/7 release then when they pushed it back 3 more weeks half of their customers went out and bought a classy, i know i did.

i dont think im making myself clear... i know im getting a good overclock. but whats holding it back from being better if its not the temps? is it just a limitation of the silicon or voltage locks? maybe im looking too far into this...

yea, i mean its good....but if my temps arent even that high would water cooling even help me push it any harder?

on the classy? I thought those chips are cherry picked to overclock well....

Ive been trying different things and seeing how hard i can push my 780 classy, i get up to like 1350MHz before i start to see some artifacts and i pushed it to 1410 once but it only got a few frames of the benchmark in before it crashed, my temps haven't gone over 80° though im not sure whats holding the oc back, i thought the temperature would be the biggest factor but i guess not. if its not the temps holding my overclock back then whats the point of water cooling? I am running a 24/7 overclock of around 1260 MHz with no problems, why cant i push it harder and would water cooling down the line even benefit me? here are my specs i7-4770k corsair dominator platinum 16GB 1866MHz H100 cooler MSI Z87 Mpower GTX 780 Classified pc Power & cooling silencer mkIII 1200 W

it wont be a problem, while trying to solve an issue with my new build i re installed windows 8 like 5 or 6 times and windows 7... the key will work to install and if it asks you later to register your key and its giving you problems just call Microsoft and explain your just re installing, im 99% you wont have an issue though.

im pretty sure VRAM doesnt work like that man.... I wasnt trying to argue that the 780 is a better card, the titan still trumps it in multi display, high res and most other things but the fact that nvidia doesnt allow any alterations to the design means that the 780 can be made to show better results in benchmarks and causts significantly less. I think the 780 is a great card for a generation or two but even games like skyrim using mods can max out the vram easily, i mean its still a great card but its uses are somewhat limited by its lack of ram. if you want a card with more vram to sli im pretty sure they will release a 4gb 770 sometime.

yea i got pretty upset and bought a 780 classy instead, they want to mess with their enthuisists we will go to their competitors. From what ive been reading on other forums im not alone, people arent happy.

I lost it this morning when they pushed back the lightning release another 21 days, i just bought myself a 780 classy, it doesnt looks as good but i plan on watercooling in a few months so it wont really matter. Im very dissapointed its taking this long to release that card. @ recently the classified trumped the titan for fastest single card GPU so theres that :L

I installed a Radion HD 7570 from my mothers computer and everything works fine, I think the problem must be with the vga on the board, I was going to wait for the 780 lightning but they just announced it was going to be another 21 days so I ordered a 780 classy, I don't think onboard graphics will mater much once I install that right? I tried installing new RAM as well with no solution. they probably haven't seen this issue at all because who buys an enthusiast mother board and uses onboard graphics for longer then it takes to install GPU drivers. I ran some benchmarks for the integrated graphics and everything came back looking ok, except it showed a 4% lower performance for my 4770k stock vs a 3770k stock on overall CPU performance ... but other then that all the cpu benchmarks were fine, running prime 95 didn't yield anything either. its got to be an issue with the board.... I think ill just wait until my classy gets here and if I have more problems ill look to RMA. Thanks for the help guys!
