  1. Do you think this would be worth it? Being that scaling doesn't always work?
  2. Alright, System: CPU I5-4670k MOBO - MSI Z87-gd65 Ram - Kingston hyper x Predator Power Supply - EVGA 2400 watt Cooler - Cooler Master H100i OS - windows 8.1 pro / windows 10 Graphics - 2x Sapphire 7990 recently i have been getting hung up on the login screen when trying to boot my computer, it would also restart ranomly sometimes too. I replaced the harddrive thinking that could be the problem and it wasnt. It would run better with one 7990 installed for a long time, and now it doesnt seem to matter if i have them installed or not. The other weird part is that it boots and run just fine with the on board graphics. i have tried both graphics cards in different slots and it doesnt change the result. I have done memory tests already and no errors came up. I have done system scans, icacls.exe, and nothing. mind you, i have nothing installed other that the OS and drivers. if any of you have any idea what it could be. Derek
  3. I could probably get two 390's for 650-700
  4. Right, I have a 4k monitor. I was just looking at cost. Would 390 crossfire be much better than 970 sli, especially for $400
  5. Yeah sorry $400 for both
  6. Yeah like I was saying moat games perform worse with both. So I get more heat and worse performance. So would two 970's be a good choice? For 400?
  7. Well some games just perform way worse with both 7990's...that's the only reason. Plus they are sooooo hot all the time
  8. I have the chance to get two Zotac 970 amp omega's for 400. They are used. What would you guys do? Decent upgrade? I could try and sell my two 7990's to make up for the cost?
  9. alright, ill look into and see what i decide!
  10. well in dont think mine ever throttle. they normally stay around 75 when gaming
  11. So would dual 390's make a big improvement over my 7990?
  12. I have a 7990 right now, actually two but since the last update it wont boot with both in and games don't work very well (i know quad crossfire isn't recommended). So im trying to decide what i should get to replace my current 7990 or if i should wait and see what else will be happening with Windows 10. i do have a 4K monitor so i do want something that can run games, not at ultra but decent.
