My favourite item is the EDG750 PSU.

Because I really need a new PSU to run another GTX 760 in SLI in my system

acording to the mac forums if its a HFS partions it should just mount but it looks like the partion is damaged .

Must be a machintosh format. boot in to hackintosh and look at the disc utility says about it

disk utility shows fuck all

What was the drive from?

2005 iBook G4

In a linux terminal do as root "fdisk -l"

"Disk /dev/sdb doesn't contain a valid partition table"

In GParted, it shows 4 partitions; a 31.50 KB unknown, a 119.50 MB unallocated, a 8.50 MB hfs+ with a boot flag and a 37.14 GB unknown.

drive has files of utmost importance.

yeah just easyer to use ubuntu as its more user friendly but use what you like .

as long as it has gparted which most of them do

fuckin linux isnt even recognizing it. doesnt even show up in g-motherfuckin-parted.

boot in to linux live cd such as ubuntu

see ifs it mounts it if not run gparted to see what the drive is formatted in.

UPDATE: So I just realized that the HDD is from a 2005 iBook G4. Luckily, my PC also happens to be a Hackintosh, so I just booted into OSX, plugged in the HDD aaaand... still nothing.

Can't see the HDD listed anywhere except system info, where it only shows up as a generic mass storage device.

See if there is any drivers for the adapter, shouldnt need any but somtimes its just one of those things.

its possible there's a problem with the usb driver. if you have another computer try with that, or try unplugging and trying different usb ports.

tried with all ports, hub and direct. will try with my laptop now.

You have powered the drive right? 

Also check its geting enough power

It's a 2.5 inch drive. so it should be getting all the power from the USB port itself.

Also, I don't see any way to give it extra power.

I have an old Fujitsu 40GB HDD that I'd like to recover data from. I bought a IDE to USB adapter from Amazon, plugged in the HDD aaaand... nothing.

Went to disk management, immediately got this 

clicked on OK, got this 

drive may contain important files. help pls ;-;

As someone who cannot get a PSU above 600W unless I import one, DAT POWER CONSUMPTION THO.

Try plugging it in another usb port, maybe the one you tried is defective. It might simply be a defective dac, try contacting audioengine support and if they can't fix the issue just rma the dac, nothing to worry about

nvm I got it working by plugging in another hub into the USB hub that I was already using.

So I just bought a new Audioengine D1 DAC. Got it home, plugged it into computer aaaaaannndd.... "USB Device not recognized"
Looked around in device manager, its a Code 43 i.e Device Descriptor Request Failed.

Could you please reply to me if it worked? I want to build a hackintosh myself because I cant run MacOS on my main rig and I dont want to spend that much money on it and if I dont want to game on it what graphics card should I get for it?
