  1. Thank you for the recommendation, but its too big - max height for my chassis is 150mm
  2. Hi, recently i had an Intel CPU and the Fuma Rev. B - the cooler worked perfectly. But now i switched to a Ryzen 3900X and i recognized that the cooler-plate is convex and also AMD-CPU heatspreader are known to be a little bit convex: https://www.igorslab.de/intel-vs-amd-wie-konvex-oder-konkav-sind-die-aktuellen-headspreader-wirklich-was-ist-besser-ryzen-9-oder-core-9/ So i want to switch CPU-cooler. My problem: It should fit in a 4U-Server - max cooler-height = 150mm Couldn t find any test-results for this one - http://www.thermalright.de/kuehler/83/thermalright-macho-120-rev.-b?c=5 Would it be enough for the 3900X or is a 120mm-AIO the only option left?
  3. I am a fan of air cooling because of convenience. I have bought now a Palit 2080ti GamingPro. Temps are not terrible bad... Question: would it be worth to mod the card with NZXT G12 and a 120mm AIO-cooler? Higher and consistent clocks or lower temps? Or just another point of failure and noisier because of the AIO-pump.
  4. Hi, i have an intel 9700k and a corsair 360mm AIO (150i pro). Under full load the CPU temps are about 63 °C without any OC. I also have tried a Scythe FUMA ... and i am getting nearly same results (or even better if it is not under full load). Have i done something wrong with the AIO or is it just that even a 360mm AIO isn t much better than a good air-cooler?
  5. Hi, i am wondering if keeping GPU (or CPU) temps under a certain point does really something for longevity of the product? I mean... watercooling looks cool and it may help doing higher stable OC... but does it also something for longevity? GPU and CPUs will start throttle so that they won`t kill themselves or harm other components. So my question or point of discussion is: Is it ok for you if your GPU runs at 70-85 degrees when playing games or doing some rendering or do you have the fear that you might decrease the life-span of your product by doing so? I found myself in the position that i am spending a lot of money for the best cooling possible in concern of keeping the product in the best shape possible for a long time even if it might upgrade anyway after 2 or 3 years ... but then i could have bought a better product in the first place if i would have spent less money for cooling. Is the concern for temps just part of marketing (beside the little performance-boost you get with better ccoling)?

  7. Hi JonnyGURU, firstly thanks for being awesome and doing great work. In the meantime i have discovered that the problem must be something else... I have tried the Metis power cord out of the case and it worked. Then i plugged the original corsair power cable back in the PSU (which worked every time before) and then i also got a BSOD... i still don t know what it is... it is weird. So back to the start for me at finding the issue... Thanks for your reply.
  8. Hi, i have a weird problem - i have a little Ryzen5 system built in a Rajintek Metis Plus. I get BSODs when starting the PC - memory management issues, kernel problem ... I tried everything... new Windows-install, new RAM ... Then i found following: when i put the original-power of the SF450 directly in the PSU (keep in mind - the Rajintek metis plus has an internal power-cable which connects the PSU with the back of the case) the BSODs are gone. When i try another 90° power-cable i get also BSODs... There seems to be an issue with SF450 and plugging in different power-cables. Any idea???
  9. Is there any AIO-Watercoolerkit on the market with Aseteks gen6 pump which is compatible with NZXTs G12 GPU bracket? I don 't want to spend now the money on a last gen product if a new one is available now or in near future.
  10. Ok, i will try it. Thank you!
  11. Hi, my friends PC gets regularly BSODs when starting the PC. I have done a fresh install of Win10... and again - see screenshots (sorry... are in German... but the error codes are just number ) Hardware: Asus B350 ROG gaming AMD Rryzen 2600 16 GB RAM GSkill Aegis 3000 Mhz (but runs now at stock @ 2133) corsair 450 SF PSU 250 GB WD black Nvme AMD Sapphire RX570 4GB Rajintek Metis Plus What i have already checked: Made a RAM-Test (MemTest) - no errors. WD-SSD-Dashboard showed no errors when performing the s.m.a.r.t Test No OC on the CPU or RAM - everything is on AUTO in BIOS ("optimal BIOS-settings from ASUS"). Have updated the BIOS to the newest one. changed the RAM-Sticks Temps of all components (CPU, GPU, SSD) are ok. new mount of CPU-cooler new mount of Nvme-SSD disassembled and build the PC again Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 07.03.2019 15:14 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 1a Parameter 1: 41792 Parameter 2: ffffe23fff64a448 Parameter 3: 23000000000000 Parameter 4: 0 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 07.03.2019 15:10 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 135 Parameter 1: ffffffffc0000005 Parameter 2: ffff998564f3fa10 Parameter 3: fffff8013574d890 Parameter 4: ffff868d36d30e60 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 06.03.2019 19:27 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 1000007e Parameter 1: ffffffffc0000005 Parameter 2: fffff800860c1af8 Parameter 3: ffff990a685b6458 Parameter 4: ffff990a685b5ca0 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 05.03.2019 22:19 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 3b Parameter 1: c0000005 Parameter 2: fffff805478dbcde Parameter 3: ffff950ca3c988b0 Parameter 4: 0 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 05.03.2019 22:35 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 1a Parameter 1: 41792 Parameter 2: ffffc180c00b3100 Parameter 3: 2000000000000 Parameter 4: 0 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 05.03.2019 22:35 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 1a Parameter 1: 41792 Parameter 2: ffffc180c00b3100 Parameter 3: 2000000000000 Parameter 4: 0 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 05.03.2019 22:46 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 7a Parameter 1: 1 Parameter 2: ffffffffc0000005 Parameter 3: ffffae8976e0c240 Parameter 4: ffffe6f8c0680000 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Quelle Windows Zusammenfassung Unerwartetes Herunterfahren Datum 05.03.2019 22:53 Status Nicht berichtet Problemsignatur Problemereignisame: BlueScreen Code: 3b Parameter 1: c0000005 Parameter 2: fffff8035efbfeaa Parameter 3: ffff8c8534b0f690 Parameter 4: 0 Betriebssystemversion: 10_0_17763 Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 256_1 Betriebsystemversion: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 3079 Any ideas???
  12. Where can i find out which Asetek pump-rev. is inside the Thermaltake Water 3.0 360 ARGB Sync Edition? Haven 't found any information on their website.
  13. Hi, i have a Corsair HX 1200i and two Vega64. Question: There are PCI-e cables with 2 x (6+2)pins - is one cable (with 2x 6+2pins) for each GPU enough or is it better to install two cables for each GPU?
  14. Do all server rails fit on standard server cases? For example can these rails https://geizhals.eu/chenbro-26-teleskopschienen-84h210710-024-a708462.html be used to mount a standard Inter-tech 4U server chassis like this https://geizhals.eu/inter-tech-ipc-4u-4129-n-88887206-a1480076.html?hloc=at&hloc=de&hloc=pl ???
