  1. Hmm I see... okay thanks for the help
  2. If I did want to separate the switches instead of daisy-chaining them though, would it be possible to walk me through it? I've had problems before where I lose 90% of my speed when I daisy-chain my switches together.
  3. Hey all, I need some OPNSense guru help over here. I'm fairly new to OPNSense in general so I'm very unfamiliar with advanced networking configuration. I have 2 switches, a 2.5Gbps switch and a 1Gbps switch. Currently, I'm daisy-chaining the switches for my network infrastructure right now (not ideal I know but I was originally running pfSense on a VM with 2 separate single port nics). I recently got a box made for pfSense and decided to install OPNSense to try it out. Since this new box has 4 2.5Gbps ports, I was hoping to use up 3 of those ports. 1 for WAN and 2 for LAN, one of the LAN ports would be for my 2.5Gbps switch and one for the 1Gbps switch. Is this possible and if so, could I get a detailed guide on how to make this happen? Thanks a bunch.
  4. Unfortunate. To be fair, it's not that big of a deal. I was just curious if there was something I could do about it
  5. Highest I've observed was 50-ish% For MWII, I'm getting around 180-ish fps on a medium sized map like Consulate on my Acer Predator XB252Q. Guess I'll have to look into how much I can overclock a 9700K with a Cooler Master MasterAir MA620P
  6. True but what about MWII? Would there be a noticeable uplift there?
  7. I used to do it once a year but I started to do regular reformats due to an unrelated problem that I originally thought was due to a bad OS install/update. Was the reason I had to upgrade to an RTX 3070Ti from an RTX 2080 Doesn't go over 85%
  8. Pretty low since I run that game on medium with no anti-aliasing for visibility bonuses.
  9. That would be a valid explanation, if it wasn't for the fact that I reformat my OS install every 2-3 months. I used to attribute it to Riot's fault but nowadays, I'm not too sure
  10. Honestly, there isn't really hitching or stuttering but I have noticed a drop in performance (mainly in Valorant). When Valorant first released, I got 300fps constant. Nowadays, I'm lucky to get over 280 fps. I'm not sure if it's my hardware or if Riot is just bloating their game with unoptimised code
  11. While the 13th gen or Ryzen 7000 might be the best option, unfortunately for my country, PC component prices are kinda whack. I'd like to replace as little parts as possible. If I were to switch to 13th gen or Ryzen 7000, I'd need DDR5 RAM. Unfortunately, DDR5 RAM would be extremely expensive on top of a CPU and motherboard replacement
  12. Hmm... I see... If I were to replace the CPU (which would mean a new motherboard and potentially DDR5 RAM), what would I be looking at for an upgrade? 12th Gen? Ryzen 5000? I am a bit concerned with OC since I don't have much overhead with the cooler I have on right now
  13. Usually only right at the beginning of a match when everyone loads in and no fighting starts yet. Or if I deliberately find a quiet area in that giant Taraq map
  14. Haven't played CSGO in a long time and even if I do return, I don't think there's a problem there since I can get well over 240fps. I believe Valorant should be CPU intensive, or at least it doesn't use much GPU power if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty okay with the level of performance in Valorant but I was wondering if I could get more fps in MWII
  15. It jumps between 83%-100% depending on what's on screen. In the Shipment map it's pretty much stuck at 100% but without intense firefights, it's lowest usage is 83%
