  1. what are signs that your hard drive is about to fail?
  2. about 3TB I think honestly i don't know what signs to look for (dying hard drive)
  3. soo I dont know how to put this but I want to store alot of photos and videos for my small business and I think running a raid in my pc is a good choice only problem is I don't know if I should be using Nas hard drives like Segates Iron Wolf or if even running a raid in the pc is a bad Idea. What do you guys think I should do??
  4. Hello! I really don't know too much about freenas and picking the right hardware but I need to build a home Nas system for storing video and photos. I have a budget at 300 is this possible with this budget or should I go with another option?
  5. I understand that but I would like to browse the web sometimes as well as have one system for all those games and maybe games like castle crashers.
  6. Hey guys I need some help! I have no experience in building a budget cheap pc but I wanted to build one for emulating Wii and playstation 1 games. I would hook this up in my livingroom it does not have to be a powerfull system just something to play mario cart.. crash... ext. if any of you have suggestions I would like to stay under 300 if at all possible I have a wireless keyboard and mouse as well as hdmi cables to hook it to my tv. for dolfin which is the emulator I use it requires 64-bit CPUs and Operating Systems are required. Windows XP is no longer supported. Windows Vista is no longer officially supported. Direct3D10/OpenGL3 Required. This means AMD Radeon 4xxx, NVIDIA GeForce 8xxx, or Intel HD 2xxx minimum! Anything older than that will most likely not work or will have significant glitches.
  7. ok guys thank you I think I have come to a decision to keep my pc the way it is. I won't be spending much time indoors in the summer and any new game ill just get on console until the end of summer then Ill buy a new pc and maybe even get vega thanks for all the advice!
  8. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KjKDNN here is an alternative faster ram better video processing if you don't mind over clocking still good gaming (close to the 7700k)
  9. you can save some money here with still getting the best but if your looking to record thats tough because ryzen 7 does better when it comes to video production.

  13. well the original plan was to build a new pc with the 1600 and 580 but stuff went down with my car and now it will take me till the end of the summer to be comfortable with spending that much money. Would it be a good Idea to get the 580 now or just wait till then for everything?
  14. well I mean it may be possible to create a program to auto email the pdf and make the subject line the tittle of the document but that is the furthest that could be reached (I think)
