  1. I understand the board will be overkill ... But if you look at my current PC it's how I build, and I will definitely be upgrading to something bigger later. The extreme is definitely overkill, that's why I also mentioned the master. Got nothing against B550, just not looking for a midrange board. Will definitely check the list out, thanks very much Currency conversion is a little rough, like 16 times the $ so its difficult to give a budget. I have access to most mid to high end boards from Asus, Gigabyte, Asrock, MSI. Which site should I use to get you a budget in your currency ? Not the largest fan of MSI, been helping friends with their warranties (Mostly GPUs, but I just have a bad taste, which could be wrong, just is what it is, lol) :::EDIT::: fixed some editing and sorry for late reply, I work retail hours XD
  2. Hey all Hope you all are doing well in these trying times. (hoping your families and yourselves are safe) I am finally looking at upgrading my 4960x and was looking at a 5600x. (not a fan boy, just seems new, shiny and really good) The problem is that I have no clue what board to choose. I was considering the GB Aorus Master, but the looks of the extreme is making me want to choose that even though it most likely isnt worth it over the master. What boards would you guys suggest ? I will be looking to get the best clocks I can, I have a custom loop setup that will be repurposed when I upgrade. (GTR360 + GTS 240 + eisblock) All opinions welcome !! Regards.
  3. I was looking at either the Supremacy Evo or the Eisblock but was not sure which is better or if there is a better option in general I have tried looking everywhere for a full cover block, no clue where else to try look ... lol
  4. Hey all Was wondering if there is a block out there that is considered to be the "best" when it comes to socket 2011 ... ... Sadly the Full cover block that was donated to me (EK-FB R4BE) arrived with damage and is leaking so I need a new block and I have no clue what to buy. Also, is it possible to still find Rampage IV full cover blocks ? ... Tried ebay + PPCs but had no luck (not sure where to check since I need Int. shipping) Regards ::: EDIT ::: Merry Christmas to all
  5. Greetings all I hope I can get some advice as I am trying to plan out my loop and have no idea what will look best or what I can do. I have 2 main questions though: 1) If I have a 1080Ti with an EK block on it, can I put connectors on both sides of the terminal, basically want to run the pipes from CPU to GPU in parallel ? (see poorly photoshopped image) 2) I need to go from the inside port on the 360mm rad (nearest the motherboard tray) up and over the rad to the res in front, what would be the easiest way to achieve this ? (green dots are fill/drain ports and yellow dots are splitters) All help would be greatly appreciated Regards ::: EDIT ::: The longer I look at this photoshop image the more I cringe ... first time using PS, please don't judge ... haha
  6. With my bad exchange rate, this lands at my door for a whopping R6000 (just under $499) lol, budget dude, if I could afford that case, do you think I would have made a thread asking for suggestions
  7. I wonder how hard it would be to import that bracket into my country ... this might just be an option. (didn't know about that bracket) That is the problem, there are so many great options ... haha ...
  8. If you put a 360mm radiator in front, do you have to remove the HDD cage ?
  9. Well I don't want to sit next to a wind tunnel, just tested my H110i at 30cm (not in a case) 1300rpm is perfect, doesn't bother me at all. 1500 is bearable but I would not want it at that all the time. Not sure how that noise compares to the SW3 fans and the GTR rad, but I am starting to think that maybe the SR2 is a better fit. Thanks for the link, just wish I could hear how noisy the fans are ... haha What is considered medium density rads ? (sorry if that sounds noobish)
  10. I was considering running 1500rpm fans with around 2-3mm h2o, so the extra thickness would be utilized. Which 360mm Rad would you recommend ? (I am attempting to get a stable 5Ghz stable on my CPU and 1550-1600mhz on my 980Ti) Thanks very much
  11. Do you think that the SW3 would work on a higher resistance rad like the GTR ? Will check out the Venturi's now
  12. I am struggling to find decent fan reviews, especially on the Parvum fans. I know they are a clone of the WB2, but I don't know if any specs have changed. $10 price difference when importing at 14 to the $ is a big difference, but I don't want to sacrifice performance.
  13. Greetings I am currently planning out my future loop that I hope to have done by year end. (funds are a little tight since I will be getting a new case) I know that I want a 360mm radiator to start with and that I will be adding a 240mm when I add my GPU to the loop. My question is: Which 360mm radiator do you guys recommend ? I was considering going EK XE360 or HWL GTR360/SR2 360 but I am really not sure who is the best. With regards to fans, what do you guys think of the Silent Wings 3 and Parvum F1.0s (based on the Wing Boost 2) Any suggestions on fans/rads would be greatly appreciated. Regards
  14. I was considering the Genome, but it would be a little wasted once I go a full custom loop, and the case is the same price as the Parvum M1.0. Still considering it though, a very nice looking case. The Enthoo is great apart from the losing the HDD cage if you go with a full 360mm rad in front, and I still use mechanical drives. (updated my sig so you can see what I will be putting into the case) I have considered it, I am losing my mind with all the potential cases, I just don't know what to choose anymore
  15. Hey all I hope I can get some advice, I am currently looking for a new case that will be used in an air-cooled setup until end of year and then will be moved to a custom WC loop. I have around $250 (slightly flexible) and I am not sure what to get. I was really considering the Parvum M1.0 because it stands out from the crowd but I am curious to see if there are better suggestions. All advice great appreciated. Regards
