  6. and heres my cpu running at 1600mhz with hyper treading disabled the temps are the same like when im running at 4.4ghz amd my chip delidded why isn't the temps lowering
  7. lol yeah im still lucky i can overclock to 4.4ghz and get a boost . i saw some guys couldn't even get passed 4.2ghz
  8. i tried that already with 1 core enabled and hyper threading disabled but no luck my chip wont run stable still still require 1.33volts to get a stable overclock at 4.5ghz with 1 core just a bad chip thanks for the advice i guess i need to save up money and get a i7 4790k or a i7 5820k lol jk
  9. i have a msi z77a gd80 and i had nothing but problems my cpu fan header stopped working my memory slot 2 and 4 doesn't work anymore even with one stick of ram inserted heres a pic. it look like i got a bad motherboard and now its only post a code 04 on the debug so would recommend gigabyte over msi
  10. thanks guys for your help i taught i did something wrong just a bad overclocking chip l one more question why is one of my cpu always at 40c i even dropped my cpu to 1600mhz one time and lower the volts to 1.1 and its still at 40c
  11. hi can anyone tell me why my cpu need so much volts to go to 4.5ghz and 4.6ghz my cpu is running stable at 4.4ghz with 1.250 volts anything lower i get bsod i want to over clock to 4.5ghz but i need to apply 1.330volts for the cpu to be stable and at 4.6ghz i need to apply 1.42volts for it to be stable anything lower bsod my motherboard is a mis z77a gd80 and my cpu cooler is a thermaltake water 2.0 extreme . why do i need so much volts for just 200mhz more this my cpu . this my cpu batch number but i cant find any info on it if its a bad batch or good batch 3228A976 E4 heres a pic of it i even delided my cpu but saw no temp drops heres a pic of my settings and temps i hope my post isnt to confusing lol thanks for taking the time to read my post
