  1. After 7-8 years? Not surprising. Sony nearly went bankrupt because of the decisions they've made.
  2. They sold them at a loss. It's known. And, apparently, they're not making the same mistake again.
  3. I never "converted". PC has always been my primary gaming platform, although I did used to play some exclusive games on the X360. This console gen, I don't think I'll own any of the consoles this time, maybe just the DS4 later down the line to play some PC racing/sports games.
  4. At 1440p, the R9 290 easily wipes the floor: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1036?vs=1068 Although a minute amount of games (only Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3) seem to favour the GTX 780, slightly. I would still recommend the R9 290 because 780 only seems to be pulling 1 or 2 frames ahead and the R9 290 proved better (by a wide margin) in the majority of the games. As someone previously stated, the wider bus memory and the higher frame-buffer really helps it at higher resolutions against the 780.
  5. I don't quite understand the higher prices. If DDR3 is cheaper than DDR2 memory (DDR2 costs double here), why is DDR4 more expensive than DDR3?
  6. I don't care about the fucking start menu, just make the performance even better and it's an instant purchase for me.
  7. LOL at 1200x800. I'm calling fake on this. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the shit specs turned out to be true, I mean, the 5S had a resolution of 1136x640. My S4 has a 1080p display.
  8. Looking forward to the compute benchmarks.
  9. I don't get the unappreciative guys, in such circumstances, Codemasters are doing a fine job.
  10. I agree with this. The 680 is still a very capable card. Clarify this OP: are some games lagging for you? What resolution do you play at? What settings? Etc.
  11. Does it even matter what the highest resolution my monitor can support? How much detail am I losing if I'm downsampling from 1600p to 1080p? For one, aliasing won't be that much of an issue. If OP is going to supersample his games then that resolution would be OK, right?
