  1. What about the silence? I currently have a Corsair PSU now (Tx-650 or Hx-650 ?), and its noisy.
  2. Hello Everyone, I spend a lot of time on Youtube, And I would like some tips to make the whole experience less annyoing. Do you know a way to automatically Download the Video you want to watch? To Automatically download videos at highest resolution , instead of watching it in the youtube player, would be GREAT since I will have my own media player on my pc where I can control everything in an easy way, including volume (and thats important since I will able to control it more precisely for me and my roomate joy). As of now I usually open lot of videos in a lot of tabs, so I have to rely on (really buggy and messy) scripts Blocker to not cause hellish and booming noise. html5 and adobe player are both a nightmare for me. Currently I use nightly 33 on Windows 7 Ultimate. Thanks
  3. Seasonic Platinum 660 or Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 630W
  4. Thank You. I would like to ask You, Can I do that with completely different hard drives? Do you need more than one ( or any at all ) external hard drives? Also what do you think of Cloud storage service , privacy wise ?
  5. Backupping in order to prevent data loss is really daunting for me.. OS (win 7 ultimate) is on the ssd; all the downloaded, installed and created files are on my 2TB western digital caviar green hdd. every 6 months i manually copy everything to a 3TB seagate . I also recopy what I can to a 1TB external hard drive. Recently, I got a 2tb Caviar Black . What Do you suggest me to do? The dimension of the files I need to store varies between 800 GB Min to 1300 GB Max. Thank You all.
  6. Be Quiet! CM BQT L8-630W What do you think of it? It's 90€ on amazon.co.uk (70 GBP)
  7. Have you replaced a psu fan yet? They already suggested me, And I searched for tips on threads, But I don't have what it takes to "experiment" with it yet. Its better if i just buy a new psu. idk which one...
  8. Hi everyone, I need to buy two new power supply for my two computers. My goal is silence. I also need semi-modular at least. The first rig has an Intel i5 2500 , 2 case fans , Nvidia 560 TI , 2 hdd , 1 Dvd drive. The second has an Intel i7 2700K overclocked to 4,2 ghz, 5 case fans , an Nvidia 770 , 4 hdd. Both have a Fractal Desing R4 , windowless panel. Both have noisy overkill psu (650w the first and 1000w the second). I can't estimate the REAL wattage I need,. Thank You for all of your help!
  9. You should format your posts, It's hard replying to them.... If you are selecting the pc parts, You also need someone (you, the retailer or your friend) to put it togheter.. Then, There is a way to obtain every OS you want for free..... Anyway, If you want upgradeability, you should still choose a CPU, Motherboard, PSU and stick with them! You can't buy them with the purpose of replacing them afterward like it will be easy! They are not like mices or keyboard! What makes something easy to upgrade are your knowledge and compatibility of the components... Thats why Im suggesting you to be 100% sure about CPU, MB ,and PSU you pick. Also There are some games that will have bad performance even on costly PC (1500€ and up): they are the bad console ports and other unoptimized games.. What games do you want to play? If the answer is (or will be) "ALL of them", Then I'm afraid you will have to spend more than 2000€.... If the answers is "competitive FPS online games" then you will also need a good internet connection, especially with a low ping. I also suggest you this: Native resolution at 60 fps with low settings, rather than med at 40 fps. I think its better if you target just the games you like to play, and then build with the goal of 60 fps stable while running them.
  10. I know how overwhelmed you feel. Building a pc for the first time it's hard, really hard. I am sorry but, It's really hard to criticize and discuss your build, as it is better to build another pc... And anyway, what are precisely the part that you are unsure about? Looking at the cpu you choose... Get a "K" one, because they are unlocked... And about monitors.... I know you have a tight budget but a monitor is something you buy and then keep it for years... That monitor, even at 90€, its a complete waste of money... If you buy that monitor ,spending 90€ , you will be stuck with it... What will you do next? Feel buyer remorse? Trash the monitor and waste 90€? You want to know a real advice (for your situation, not in general)? Buy something like d3sl91 suggested , with a nice IPS monitor, but without an OS and without the GPU (that's right!!). Suffer ( a bit) 2 months, gain more money ,and Then buy the gpu. You will have spent your money better. Quality Gaming IS NOT cheap. I dont suggest you rushing and wasting 900€ euros for games hype, Just because you want to play some games NOW. I hope I helped you.
  11. I can't select just 5 games... So I have a tier of games I hate. 1 -- (the most hated) Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 2 -- Chivalry Medieval Warfare 3 -- Left 4 Dead 2 ; Team Fortress 2 4 -- All Assassin's Creed I played; Prince of persia 2 (Warrior Within) and 3 (Forgotten Sands?) , Dishonored; Far cry 3 , GTA Vice City , Sonic Heroes, DOrk Souls 2, King Of Fighter XIII 5 -- All Mortal Kombat I played; GTA San Andreas, GTA IV, Super Street Fighter 4 AE
