  1. Well, I dissuaded him from utter disaster. Either way, here's a slightly updated version of his list, feel free to fix it anyway possible. He didn't have time to change the cpu though, so you're gonna have to do that. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/mJGtrH He apparently 'wants the best cpu', so go ham. Within budget, of course.
  2. So, he replied to your guys' build lists with his own, nooby one: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/BxN9yc. He is adamant about that processor, and wants a good cpu cooler with it.
  3. Inb4 people read my earlier comments and the edits on the original post. Please don't yell at me D:
  4. Sorry, forgot to mention that he would prefer the case to be an NZXT Phantom 880, or preferably just something from NZXT. ... And he now just told me he doesn't need peripherals aside from a single large monitor. Sorry guys, but at least you have more budget to allocate.
  5. He has absolutely no idea about what switches he wants. Nor does he have any clue about what they are, unfortunately. He would like a decently fancy keyboard though.
  6. And they're off! The race is beginning with an incredible start, who will be the winner?!
  7. He needs everything, the whole shebang. He may do a little overclocking, and is willing to do some liquid cooling.
  8. So, my friend was looking for help with picking out a custom set of parts for a new PC. He currently has a budget of 2000 - 3000 Canadian dollars, and is primarily a heavy gamer, who also would like to be able to run a small time server. He wants a single, large monitor setup, doesn't need to worry about the size of the build, and prefers headphones instead of speakers. He also wants a mostly full build list, including OS, but no peripherals aside from a monitor. He would prefer the case to be an NZXT Phantom 880, or preferably just something from NZXT. Thanks in advance for any help!
  9. Made a few adjustments to the motherboard, case, and optical drive. Please leave any feedback if you think I should change something!
