its a 600watts cougar sl bronze, i tried both dvi and hdmi same problems, thanks for the reply dude i'll try to replace the thermal paste and dust this one off and check if it works, thanks again

Hello everyone i need some help with my pc which is showing up some weird 8 bit like colors on some parts of the screen, specifically near the sides both of them left and right, they are about an inch wide and stretches lengthwise, it started when i was playing some games then the screen turned red and froze, so i manually turned it off but by the time i booted it up those lines started to appear(even on POST) and then my resolution was back to 640 x 480 so i uninstalled the gpu driver but once i try to reinstall it the screen went black and froze so i assumed it was the gpu then I removed it and booted up and it was fine on the integrated gpu so my question is, is my gpu faulty? if so is there anything i can do about it? because i'm really down on the budget right now, thanks in advance for the replies my gpu is r9 270x

Hello guys, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I am having a stuttering problem with assassins creed syndicate, the thing that bothers me the most is that, the stuttering usually occurs after 10 mins once i started the game and from there on it literally stutters every 5 seconds, i have looked everywhere and I cant seem to find any solution, If you guys have any suggestion or fixes you are very much welcome thanks. BTW my specs are i5 3470, 8gb ram and R9 270x.

thanks man, too bad i have no extra memory modules and i cant seem to find the same type anywhere here in my area. I think i just have to tell my friend its time to move on lol.
