  1. I have it set to a solid no effect red at all times. However as soon as I lock my computer, or let it idle into sleep, it starts cycling through all the colors. Is there a way to disable this in the software?
  2. I've got an ROG Swift 27", and I'm wondering what monitors would be good to stand up in portrait on the left or right. Preferably that match the dimensions of the current panel so it doesn't look too weird.
  3. Nah, I play on a 1440p ROG swift. I'd like to be able to max out things like The Division and get a solid 60FPS without any comprimises. And then on games like battlefield, I'd like to do the same, except be able to take advantage of the high refresh rate.
  4. I'm selling the 980 to get a new chair. It would only cover about half of the 1080 anyway.
  5. So I saved a few paychecks to buy one of these. But my question is. Will they actually be for sale on the 4th? Cause I'd like to buy one as soon as they're available, rather than waiting for the backorders to come in.
  6. It's the ACX 2.0. And my settings were not demanding at all. Even when adding something as small as 20mhz to the core clock, it failed the benchmark 30 seconds in. I mean, I was planning to eventually SLI them anyway, but part of me wants to hold off on getting a second one of these. Cause if they have a bad reputation in terms of overclocking, I don't want to have to get 2 poor overclockers off my hands when the next series comes out. I would like to transition to 4k soon though. And I can't do that without some sort of sli setup.
  7. I mean, my only other option would be waiting for a better card, say 980 ti, or try and get a different single 980. But I hate selling gpu's, takes forever, and can't deal with the downtime cause I use this computer for work.
  8. Hmm, I guess I'll just have to get a second one then if I want some more power. I could prolly grab a 4k monitor as well, take advantage of 2 of these. If I sli'd them, I wouldn't overclock anyway, so that might just work lol
  9. Guess I lost the silicon lottery then, cause raising the voltage does nothing. Kinda BS for a 600 dollar card if you ask me.
  10. When I was experimenting, I had turned the power limit up as far as it could go. However, I never messed with the voltage.
  11. So, I have a GTX 980 SC from EVGA, and it was my understanding upon buying the card, that it would be a great overclocker, like most if not all 980's. However, if I push it any further than the out of the box clocks, it crashes in the Heaven and Valley benchmarks withing 10-20 seconds. However, it runs like a mule all day at default without a single hitch. I mean, it's perfectly beast enough as it is, however, with my 144hz monitor I'd like to get a little more juice out of it considering I spent 600 bucks on it. If you guys could help me figure that out, that would be great!
  12. Will that require the re-installation of all my programs and stuff? Cause that takes forever thanks to Uplay.
  13. Alright, I got a new system and with it, an ssd. I installed windows 8.1 on that, and then migrated my old hdd over to hold my programs and stuff. So, now that I need a bit of space, is it safe to delete my old windows installation on my hdd, or will that cause problems. If it is safe, how do I go about doing so?
  14. I hate to say it, but my keyboard and mouse were both checked off, and the power troubleshoot didn't help.
