  1. Well I tested it in Archeage (Semi GPU dependant MMO) and this was the result: Definitely more stable usage, but still get stutters I don't have too many games installed on my PC that are GPU intensive but I get the stutter in all ranges of games.
  2. Ok so I tested this in Watch Dogs (Not the best game to test with) but I basically drove a motorcycle along a highway. Looks like there is GPU usage dips but not sure what that's from.
  3. Sure I'll do a quick test now, but from what I noticed in GPU intensive games the usage doesn't drop much (Usually stays above 90%) and in CPU intensive games (Like MMO's) well the GPU stays between 30-50%, which is why I think it might be a CPU issue.
  4. Yep everything up to date.
  5. Alright so I'm experiencing major frame rate stutter in a lot of games. Before I go any further, here is my setup: Case: Corsair Air 540 (3x Cougar Vortex in front, 2x Corsair AP140 1 for rear exhaust and 1 top rear exhaust) CPU: AMD FX 8350 (@ 4.6 Ghz [19.5x233]) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 2x Noctua Fan Motherboard: Asus M5a99fx pro r2.0 Graphics Card: Asus Strix GTX 970 (Stock factory OC) PSU: Corsair CX750M Ram: 8gb Adata XPG 1600 Mhz ram HDD: Basic Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM OS: Windows 7 (SP1 Installed + Core Parking fix + FX series hotfix) Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z (24" 1080P at 144Hz) CPU Temps: -Idle: 34 Celcius (on socket) -Game Load: 50 Celcius MAX (on socket) core temp in FX series is unreliable but it doesn't go above 45 Celcius So that's my setup, but I'm getting extreme stuttering in FPS. Lets say I'm getting 60 FPS, every 4-5 seconds a frame will "linger" for longer than it should. The stutter doesn't show up in my FPS counter. Occasionally I'll get a frame rate dip to 10 FPS but that's not related to the stuttering. I was wondering if anyone knows why this is happening or how I can fix it?
  6. Thanks alot. At 0.055 v it seems to hover around 60-61 which is acceptable I guess under prime 95. It shouldn't reach that in real applications
  7. Llc is set to regular. My temps ATM are 63 socket , 44 core. With prime 95 running for 10-15 min
  8. From regular to ultra extreme. I'm testing now with +0.06 volts and my temperatures are exactly the same. +0.0475 wouldn't even boot
  9. My digi+ are all on auto. Changed them to regular, no boot with +0.04. Gonna try 0.06 on prime 95
  10. Alright will try +0,04 on CPU and NB volt. What about digi+ power? Just leave it on auto?
  11. On my m5a99fx, it's set to offset by default, all the values are on Auto though.
  12. Well I've tried both, first I did manual everything bios, then the automatic OC tuner in bios, and now AI suite, all same result (Important to note, all had very similar settings which is why I think the settings are the problem)
  13. Any suggestions on settings? My bone stock settings on chip I got: Ratio:20x bus:200 CPU V: 1.28v NB Volt: 1.15v
  14. Well it hits 62 under prime95, but I don't understand why it can't handle it, I don't think it's my CPU cooler, so I'm assuming it's just one of the settings that's messing things up.
  15. As the title says, I recently overclocked my 8350 to 4.3 ghz (21.5x, left bus at 200). At stock speeds I was 30-35 idle and 50-55 full load prime95. After the OC (Left all voltages stock) I'm sitting at 35-40 idle and 60-65 under prime 95. Just FYI I'm using NH-D15 cooler and ambient temps are about 20-25. Was wondering if this increase in temp is normal for such a slight overclock? I attached a few pictures (Temp + settings). This is my build: FX 8350 Asus M5a99fx pro r2.0 Corsair CX750m Asus GTX 770 Adata DDR3-1600 2x4gb and of course Noctua NH-D15+2 fans
