  1. It was still doing it shortly before the BIOS update. 2 updates that came out after my last BIOS version noted improvements with memory compatibility, so I thought I'd see if updating would fix the issue.
  2. I thought that was the case but this only started happening recently, never did this before. Probably just over worrying though.
  3. I can't find any other reported cases of this anywhere. As stated, when I boot my computer up, the DRAM LED flashes for just a quick second, but everything boots up normally. No crashes, freezing, errors, and everything seems to be stable. All the memory is being detected fine and windows memory diagnostic didn't detect any problems. Ran Prime95 for several hours, no issues. I tried putting the memory in different slots and loosening some of the motherboard standoff screws (some people reported this causing the DRAM LED to show yet there was nothing wrong), but it's still going off on startup. 24 pin mobo connector seems to be connected fine, same with the CPU connector. Had a stable overclock of 4.2GHz (@1.15v), so I tried resetting all the BIOS settings to default just in case that was causing issues, still getting the LED. I'm also updated to the latest BIOS version. Specs: CPU: i5 3570k (currently @stock speed) Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LK (BIOS version 1402) RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) G.SKILL Ripjaws X (@1600Mhz - 1.5v (stock voltage)) GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 (2GB) PSU: Corsair RM650 OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) To recap: My motherboard's DRAM LED goes off for a quick second on startup but I'm experiencing no problems. I literally can't find any issues or errors, should I just ignore it? I can buy new memory if it's really needed, although I was hoping to put that money towards a new hard drive.
