  1. Hey, I got the following problem. I got my hands on a m.2 drive and I did the AS_SSD benchmark and it just hit about 380 sequential read and about 260 seq. write. Using the maximus vii hero. Any suggestions why that is?
  2. I get Windows 8.1 for free Because of my university (Currently looking at ur posts so later I'll answer
  3. Hey guys, so I've come to the later stages of building my new PC. It's meant for gaming and also video editing and programing for my studies and stuff. I am planning to overclock. I will use the Cosmos because I can get it cheap from a friend of mine and the mainboard is also set because of a deal I get at my local techstore. I wanted to maintain a black and red colorsheme. As for monitors I got a 1440p Monitor and a 1080p as a second screen.
  4. Okay, I was going to give the GPUs an additional intake from the side.
  5. So you basically say if the gpu's are like 5 mm apart with a big tower say cosmos ii whatever it doesn't matter?
  6. Yep, you got my point. And I dont want to go 1 msi 1 evga or sth like that.
  7. Hey guys, since my browser crashed last time i wrote this and it's lost I'll make it shorter So I am planning a new PC and I am going to get a z97 Hero from Asus. I also want to go 780ti SLI. My question is if it's better in terms of heat to go for 780ti MSI twinfrzr or EVGA SC reference cooler. I am a bit concerned about the noise levels but I dont care about a little bit of noise (never had a direct comparison between the two). I hope you can help me with my first world problems
  8. What about that 5-way-optimization thing with the fan control. It's only mentioned for the Deluxe by Asus. But some people claim it's also available for the hero. I was getting pretty confused.
  9. Hey guys, I have a little question for you. I don't want to start a war with it but: Which one of these two motherboards is the better choice for overall performance like gaming, Audio, Tools, SLI and stuff. Because I searched for hours now but I haven't found any real comparison between the Deluxe board and the ROG series of z97 boards.
