  1. I have to cross the processor through the border and if its not made in the USA, and its made in Malaysia, so if they stop me they will charge some taxes, thanks though!
  2. I did, its just that I have to cross the border with it and i'm afraid they will tell me something or ask for taxes if its not made in the USA.
  3. So I just bought EVGA's GTX 760 SC through amazon and it hasn't arrived but I need to know where it was made. If there is anyone out there who could check in their box where it came that can check the Made in _________? Thanks!
  4. Hi guys, I just bought AMD's FX 8350 through amazon and it hasn't arrived but I need to know where it was made. If there is anyone out there who could check in their can where it came that can check the Made in _________? Thanks!
  5. Wow, thanks man, I have been reading mixed thoughts, but yours seems like a pretty solid argument that is backed up (in my mind) by the research that I've been doing over the last few weeks. Thanks a lot!
  6. The thing is that this intel processor is almost 50 USD more than the 8320, so I'm thinking its not worth the stretch to go from 150 USD to 200 USD for little change in gaming, unless you are telling me that this i5 paired with the gtx 760 could do better than the 8320 with the 280x, then I would seriously consider it. Thanks!
  7. That's exactly what I have been thinking, besides I believe that the 8-cores on the 8320 will make this cpu last longer and hold more upgrades for years to come. Thanks for the response!
  8. That's the thing, I'm not sure if the similarly priced intel processors stand to compete with the FX series, I could stretch out those 25 bucks but I'd be cheaping out where I wouldn't want to so unless someone tells me for a fact that those cpu make a "big" difference while gaming or could last me longer years before going obsolete, I think I'm inclined with the 8320, Thanks for the response!
  9. I'm currently choosing the parts for my pc and I've been researching a little on many options on everything, but the only thing I'm still debating on is these two options: AMD's 8320 with the R9 280x, or Intel's i5-4670k with the GTX 760. My left budget for these two items is about $450 USD on Amazon, but I'd be willing to cheap out in other parts it a bit for a big change in gaming performance. Any suggestions? I'm open to other alternatives! Thanks!
  10. So, I'm building my first pc and I've chosen out all of my components and I have about $50 USD (give or take 10 bucks if its worth it) left for a case, my mobo is a ATX and the cpu cooler is a 212 evo, in case you need to know for the dimentions. I've chosen also a Sapphire 280x, which I believe fits perfectly into both of these cases once you remove the top bays (I won't need them because I'm only planning on using 1 hard drive. Also, I plan on doing a little OC, not much, on my fx-8320 and probably none on the gpu itself. Any Ideas on which case I should buy between the 220 and the 210 elite? I'm open to other cases you might think of that might fit my budget. Thanks!
  11. It says it is being sold by amazon, which is why I don't believe they would sell the old one at new one price.
  12. Thanks for all of the tips, do you know if this is the old or new one? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FLMKNE0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  13. So I'm doing my first pc build, I have all of the components chosen, but for this I believe you only require to know that i've chosen an FX-8320 for processor, and an Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0. I am getting inclined upon buing a 280fx because it fits really nicely in my budget and I've read great things about it, combined with the 8320. I have been researching some about the different brands on this 280x and I think I've narrowed it down to the gigabyte 280x windforce for $310 usd, vs. the Sapphire 280x Dual-X for $290 usd. I'm not that concerned about noice. Open to other brand or models suggestions! Thanks in advance! P.S. I'm limited to Amazon.com
  14. Thanks! I think I will go for this to have that 8-core power in the cpu, whilst getting a cheaper than the 770 gpu with about the same power. Also, thanks for the link, I was about to go for the Windforce 280x which is 310 usd but this one is 20 usd less!
  15. Sorry forgot to mention I can only only buy at Amazon.
