  3. Hi folks, I would like to buy a new laptop to do my development work on it (web and software) I'm not a hardware geek at all. Therefore, I would like to have your expert opinion onto which one should I pick from the following two laptops? Here is MSI GE62 specs list. Here is Dell XPS 15 7559 specs list. Please Note that I would like to run Linux mint on the selected system. Any input is much appreciated Regards

  6. Hi folks I want to buy a 15 inch laptop for my development purposes and I'm living in UK with the budget of up to £1000 to £1100.. I'm basically a developer work with php ruby node and stuff I need a decent laptop with good built quality a good i7 CPU and 16gb of ram and ssd of minimum to 512gb. I looked at a few laptops such as lenovo Y50 and msi gs60 and scan's i7 laptop. I would like to have you precious advise from professionals Regards Sharif

  8. Hi folks I got a Macbook pro free from one of my friend, it is a 13" 2010 2.4Gh Core 2 due. I need to upgrade the following three hardware in it Battery upgrade to SSD (250GB) ram to 8 GB my question is I never had any Macbook pro but used a few I need that Macbook for my web development only ... i mean to learn the following technologies only Node.js, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Apache MySQL, SAAS development and other web technologies such as jQuery and css and javascript I would also use terminal and chrome browser and an IDE such as sublime text or xcode for development. I would open multiple chrome tabs an IDE, running mamp, node and rails server at same time. Would that macbook pro be good enough to handle that and I should upgrade the system I would like to have an advise from experience community Regards Sharif

  11. Hi folks I purchased this monitor QNIX QX2710 few months ago but never used it this monitor support a resolution up to 2560 x 1440. This monitor only have two inputs one is DVI and second is HDMI. a week ago I built a new PC and tried to connect this PC to this monitor but nothing shows up on the monitor like a blank black screen. I took my pc to my friends house and installed widows on it.... just plain windows. no drivers nothing at all just windows since my friend's monitor support a resolution of 1920 i put that resolution on system and bring it back.... b but now when I connect using DVI or HDMI cable the following message comes up on the screen DVI input out of range optimum resolution 900 x 1440 at 60hz BTW i dont have any graphic card installed on my computer I'm using Intel's integrated GPU and monitor turns blank What should I do ? do i have to install anything any driver, do i have to put this 60HZ to 30Hz (btw i dont know how to control that htz down anyway) any idea?

  13. I wish I was in the US but i'm from Manchester UK... therefore those price would be around £500 I've decided to go with intel i5 4460 to run mac on it too... Thank you very much for you advise though... really appreciate your effort. If you could help me find a good motherboard for my intel core i5 4460 socket LGA1150... would be highly appreciated audio chip, LAN Controller A PCI gen 3 port (I can add a graphic card, if I ever need to add one) USB 3 ports SATA 3 Socket 1150 at least 16GB DDR3 memory support etc. etc with the minimum cost Regards Sharif

I've choose i5 4460... now confused which motherboard should I choose not a hardware specialist there are so many to pick Socket 1150 - Intel B85 Socket 1150 - Intel H81 Socket 1150 - Intel H87 Socket 1150 - Intel H97 Socket 1150 - Intel Q87 Socket 1150 - Intel Z87 Socket 1150 - Intel Z97 What i want My motherboard should have a decent sound card, network adapter a port where i can add a graphic card if i ever need to add one USB 3 support SATA 3 Socket 1150 at least 16GB memory support and cheap enough I decided to go with i5 4460 only because its in the same price bracket and highly recommended by others also comes with Intel® HD Graphics 4600 so don't have to buy graphic card straight out. Regards
