New PC, new video, 8700K 1080ti running Assassin's creed Odysey 1440p...

...And 4770K/Battlefield 5/1080ti/Ultra (at 2:55)

BF5 Multiplayer and AC:O runs MUCH better on a 6c/12t overclocked CPU.

1440p native recording with shadowplay = -5 FPS

 

The video doesnt make visuals justice, on the monitor it's buttery smooth and crazy sharp...in the youtube video it's stuttery and blury..Battlefield 5 wasn't running great on 4770K...now it does...Bf5 video next.

    Looks amazing bro! I'm glad you got a CPU upgrade, now our game benches should be pretty similar performance-wise as my overclocked 6700K doesn't bottleneck the 1080Ti at 1440p just yet! Gonna upgrade to Ryzen 3000-series though. (if it doesn't turn out shitty of course)

    I think I decided on my new monitor https://www.aorus.com/AD27QD, what do you think? I opted for a Freesync 2 panel because it's been confirmed to work well with G-Sync on Nvidia GPUs and it gives me an option to use the FreeSync 2 feature with AMD cards as well which seems a better deal than going for a G-Sync one.

    It's 1440p, 27" new-gen 10-bit IPS panel, 144Hz Refresh rate and FreeSync 2, meaning it has basic VESA HDR 400 standard support. It's not true HDR but it's good-enough and it means that the panel itself has great brightness and colour reproduction.

    It's still on pre-order in Poland though and I received information that it will be shipping in mid-February. I think it should be a very, very similar experience in gaming as you have on your awesome setup ^^

    wow man that's amazing :) the monitor is REALLY nice...Freesync 2 has a wide range of vairable refresh with low frame compensation i think right? so it's should basically perform exactly the same as a Gsync monitor...i'm sure you'll love it...how smooth it'll be and everything :)

    Those LED on the monitor looks amazing as well...i really love how it looks...mine looks like a normal monitor...this one you'll get looks MUCH better!!

    1ms too it's stupid fast...how they get such a nice display IPS with 1ms GtG is amazing...mine is from the time when all the high refresh IPS screen were 4ms...amazing bro! HDR and everything...it'll look even better than mine i'm sure...i'm jealous p:

     

    Mine also come from the generation where they only had a display port at the back...so if something goes bad with my Gsync module my monitor is useless...your's could still do with HDMI...

    My only concern is that it's Gigabyte's first-ever monitor though so I'll be sort of an early adopter :P It's got 3 years of warranty though so we'll see. I plan on keeping the thing for a few good years though.
