LeParkour012's Achievements

  1. So I've just built my PC after 1-2 years of saving money and buying parts one by one. However I haven't bought my GPU and I'm currently running an Nvidia GT635 card from my old Lenovo desktop. I know the content of the post does not matter when it comes to selecting a winner but I just thought I'd say this. I'm broke. Edit: Also my laptop broke down. Too lazy to edit my signature.
  2. Thanks all. I think I know what to do
  3. If I were to use an i5-6600k instead of an i5-6500?
  4. I'm pretty much new to building. I plan to get one GTX980 Ti for my first build and another later on. My friend told me it would bottleneck both GPUs. I went and asked on the pcmr subreddit and some said yes while others no and both sides pretty much got downvoted so I don't know who to trust.
  5. Tried to join the Insider Program. Apparently I need to be over 18. I'm 17. Shit. 1 year
  6. Interesting. I have another question. Is there any way I can recover my lost recovery partition? I wanted to reset my PC but I can't since I don't have a recovery partition.
  7. Windows 10 Preview? Is that even stable for daily usage? It's still a Preview so I don't trust it much. I don't have the money to buy a product key. Buy it for me? lol
  8. Tried it again with that software. Says here that O and 0 should not be in a product key. The product key in that software has O and 0. The other product key is my OEM key and isn't supported
  9. Yup. They can't provide it for some reason
  10. Yea I just tried it. It's only for retail keys. Not OEM keys. It's really so hard to get an OEM iso.
  11. Doesn't that work only with retail keys and not OEM keys?
  12. Is there some way. Any way to get a Windows 8 OEM iso? Seriously. I thought the internet has everything. Apparently not a Windows 8 OEM iso. Been searching for days. I really need help. I wanna reinstall Windows on my Asus G750JX. I lost my recovery partition. The only thing now is an ISO.
  13. Yeah Ubuntu doesn't read it too. I think I killed my SDCard
  14. Hopefully it's not. 64gb is a lot and quite expensive for a student like me who saves up money to buy stuff Will booting Ubuntu on vmware work?
  15. That's the problem though. I don't think my laptop supports Linux. Asus ROG G750JX Tried my parent's laptop. Same thing. I think it's dead too.
