  1. So I found one in my price range that has most of what I want. 2. Excellent. Much appreciated. I'm gonna take a look-see and post if I have questions.
  3. Thank you for the replies. @MrYuriy That sounds like a good place to start I'm also quite confused. Its my first time doing this and the parts on that list are for a desktop. When they were originally recommended to me I wasn't that clear on what they were for/compatible with. I'm going to spend today getting an idea of the Laptops I can order and parts that I'll need.
  4. So I was told by a friend who works on these forums that this was the place to get help/planning how to build my rig. I'm shooting for an $1800 gaming laptop that I will also be using for work projects. I'd mostly be running Steam games off it (Witcher 2, Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Bioshock, etc.) I had a list of parts that I was working off of but they were all written with the (misinformed) understanding that it was going to be a desktop. I need it to be portable but still have some kickass left over to play graphically demanding games. Please help a noob out? Original parts list (for desktop): -MQ series Processor 4 core -Maxwell 750 TI -H81 Motherboard -E3:1230U3 CPU -760 GPU -16 GB ram -250 GB SSD -3 TB HardDrive -Rosewill 500w PSU
