  1. Aside from the wire. I attempted to take the fan out altogether which ended up snapping the copper string that was connected to it. Not sure if that makes sense, but I'll probably take a picture of that.
  2. I'm inexperienced with soldering. Don't want to take risks that may lead to my card dying fully I'll give it to a friend who can help.
  3. I once found a dead roach back when I tried to clean my cousin's pc.
  4. The game I was testing this one was mass effect andromeda. That kind of had me relieved there... And to be honest; I'd rather have my ears rest from all the noise from the GPU fans.
  5. I am an unlucky guy with a lot of misfortunes. This's probably my third time asking for help, D: The weather here is pretty harsh during summer, so I decided to open my GPU and get rid of the dust that succumbs within it. I decided to take it even further by attempting to open one of the GPU fans on my AMD 280x which led to one of the cables being cut leaving me with a dead fan. So, is gaming at 85 degrees centigrade safe in the short run? I'll probably get a replacement later on this month as they're really cheap. I know it was reckless of me to do something so stupid like that, lol pls no scary answers... :C
  6. Sorry for the delay. These are the pictures of my nasty unorganized pc with the fan being the main focus @DildorTheDecent I noticed some advantages over the stock cooler in terms of it being inaudible and can be good enough to withstand overclock, but not as of this moment I guess.
  7. The sketchy thing is that; I do have an aftermarket cooler, but it's not all that good. Although it barely makes any audible noise, it still isn't all that decent I'd say.
  8. I'm actually going to get it fixed soon, so it'll hopefully be able to cool the room down,
  9. We do have an ac, but it's broken due to overusage..
  10. I actually got it a year later after its release, so that's why I am curious to know if that's also an attribute to the problem.
  11. I'll be doing that to see if I can reduce the temperature. My pc and I are both uncomfortable, lol. I might even try reapplying thermal compound to see if that'll help.
  12. Thanks for the reply! I guess I wasn't wrong. I'm going to see if I can cool the room down *hopefully* and see if I can find any significant difference.
  13. My AMD 8350 idles at 80 degrees under full load which is rather incoherent knowing that my temps were always below 60 at worst. Now temperatures in this country during summer are usually around 42 scorching degrees centigrade, so is this the primitive reason to why my CPU is this hot?
  14. Spiders are misunderstood creatures.
  15. Well, I am not that new of a member because I made this account back in 2014, but never really surfed the forums much, although I'd love to be a member of this community and electronics do interest me a lot.
