  1. It won't allow me to perform the repair option. I just get errors.
  2. Hello, everyone. I'm running Windows 8.1 and experiencing boot issues. It started when I was updating to Windows 10 through Windows Update. During installation, I ran into an issue: "We couldn't update the system reserved partition." Upon troubleshooting the issue, I went to this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/3a6znd/we_couldnt_update_the_system_reserved_partition/ I followed all the steps and tried to update again to no avail. I then restarted my PC and came across this error: I went into my BIOS, and tried booting from where my C:/ drive is located, and got this error: Eventually, I figured using the system repair tool would help, so I created a USB recovery drive to try and fix it. "Automatic repair"/"Refresh your PC"/"System restore" did not work, so I used CMD to try to fix my missing boot files using this link: http://www.fixedbyvonnie.com/2013/12/how-to-repair-the-efi-bootloader-in-windows-8/ What that resulted in was being able to boot my computer using my USB drive -- however, every start up has to be through the BIOS, so I can set my USB drive as the boot device. Booting this way is disadvantageous because: - I can't boot without my USB drive. - I cannot Shut Down normally. Shut Down only returns the system to the home screen. Every Shut Down is through holding the power button. - When my computer sleeps, it says that I have to "Activate my PC," even though I have a legitimate Windows 8.1 registered. - On some start-ups, it recognizes an activated Windows and on others, it doesn't. (I usually reboot until I get an "activated" version.) Lastly, I here's what I've got for my partitions: Some other things: I've got an EFI folder in C:/ Upon checking my other Windows computer, I noticed that the EFI folder should be located within C:/Windows/Boot/EFI, and not just as an independent folder in C:/ Upon comparing these folders, I realized that the lone EFI folder in my C:/ weas modified in 2015 -- perhaps this is the Windows 10 EFI folder and somehow installed in my C:/ drive. Out of curiosity, I tried to update to Windows 10 again and followed the steps that I introduced in the reddit post. Upon entering the command, "attrib -h -s -r bootmgr" it said bootmgr - was missing. I am at a total loss. I'd like to be able to boot windows normally, but I would also love to have Windows 10. 3. Just entered the Corsair PC Domination Contest. Check out my entry: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=128894
  4. UPDATE: I took off the front badges/stickers. They were ugly. lol.
  5. Yeah! I was just thinking about flipping the power supply for cable management reasons. Also, I love your build! It's so clean!
  6. I don't like the stickers where I put them. Honest opinion. I just don't know where else to place them, haha.
  7. I am a huge fan of your build! Did you happen to post it on the Corsair contest? I feel like I saw it there somewhere. lol. Where did you put storage devices?
  8. Alright, so today, I: -Managed all the cables. -Removed one of the hard drive bays. -Added Assist Fans that were included with the Z87 Motherboard -Added an AF140 Led White fan on the bottom. Overall, I was just trying to clean up the space. Really happy with the way it turned out. Before: After: Before: After: (Turned On) Whole Case: Feedback much appreciated. -Honestly, I didn't know how to mount the AF140 Fan, so I ziptied it... lol. -The assist fans keep revving at random times, is this normal? -Are my fan configurations okay? -Also, I'm sorry about the image rotations. Too lazy to make the image smaller, also lack the knowledge as to how to rotate them. haha.
  9. I'm really about to watch Hyouka because of this lol.
  10. Appreciate it, guys! Cable management is still not as clean as I want it to be, so I'm going to be working on that in the next coming week. Might also do something about the drives/drive cages to free up some space and clean more.
