  1. I will try that in the morning when no one else is home and needs the internet.
  2. Oh I see what you mean! The thing is the internet connection drop is completely random and can take anywhere from 30 min to 8 hours. Windows still say I'm connected to the internet when it happens.
  3. I've tried reinstalling the network drivers twice. What do you mean with Safe Mode? Will try updating the BIOS.
  4. Hi everyone! I just upgraded my computer to a Asus ROG Strix Z370-F Gaming, i7-8700k and GTX 1080 and decided to format all my drives and all that. (Super happy with the upgrade btw) But the last few days my internet connection has disappeared randomly. It's not 100% lost though because I can still finish whatever match in-game and I can still talk to people on Discord both in my server and private calls. But what doesn't work is most websites (random which ones work every time), Steam client, Battle.net client and text channels on Discord for example. I have absolutely no clue what is causing my problem. My drivers are up to date and Windows diagnostics is telling me everything is fine. Also this only happens on my computer, no other computer in my home has this problem. Any ideas?
  5. That sounds about right! And yeah I got Windows 10 as soon as I could when it was for free.
  6. I did this to get the key just to be extra sure but I do have a MS account connected like GoodBytes explained below: I do believe my Windows copy was originally bought in a 3 pack as Windows 7 but I'm not 100% sure.
  7. Hi everyone! In a day or two my new parts will arrive (i7-8700k + MB + RAM) and I thought I would take this as an opportunity to do a clean install of Windows and format my drives (1 SSD + 2 HDD). So my questions are what is the best way to do a clean install of Windows 10 and will I keep my current Windows 10 Pro product key? My guess for the first question is make a bootable USB and boot from it and choose to format the drives before I install Windows? The second question I googled a bit but didn't really find a good answer. So I decided to ask here to get some advice Thanks!
  8. I've decided that if I upgrade my CPU cooler it's going to be with an AIO water cooler but thanks for the advice
  9. Oops, sorry I meant EK's website. Was talking about the EK Predator 240 AIO you mentioned.
  10. I googled and unfortunately it's not even for sale on *EK's website or anywhere in Sweden (where I live).
  11. Isn't that ~$250? That would be way too much for me.
  12. Oh, I abslutely would like to do some OC in the future which is why I went for the K version. Sorry if I was unclear! I guess I'll take a look at some benchmarks.
  13. So my 212 should be fine as long as I don't OC? I've looked at the ND-H15 but it's so big and I'm really interested in trying out water cooling I can't remember the benchmarks I've looked at on the top of my head but is the higher price worth it performance/sound wise with the H115i over H100i?
  14. Hi eveyone! I'm about to order a 8700k and was thinking about what I should to do cool it. I've got two questions: Currently I have a 212 Evo on my old i5-3450 and was wondering if the 212 Evo would work at stock speeds on the 8700k for a month until I can spend some money on a AIO cpu cooler? Which AIO cooler would give me the best performance while still being really quiet? Preferably in the Corsair Hydro H100i V2 price range. I will most likely not OC it any further than the motherboard can do with the presets etc. Case is the Phanteks Eclipse P400S and can fit 280mm/360mm in the front. Thanks in advance!
  15. I'll give the store a call in that case. Sadly I doubt they will be of any help but there's always a chance!
