  1. **************UPDATE******* Hey guys, just wanted to give everyone an update on the situation. So I ended up sending my MB in to Asus (great customer service btw!) took about 3 weeks from the time I shipped it > repair > received. So I'm assuming that it was just a dead board or just really bad luck. The reason why I day this is because they just sent me a new board lol. Either way I'm extremely happy that they were able to accommodate me and my needs. Also just wanted to thank everyone here for the great suggestions and support, you guys rock!!
  2. @ShrimpBrime No beeps or anything. I'm just going to call Asus tomorrow to see if they can do anything about this. I have a ROG Z390 in my personal PC and it has never given me any trouble. Just weird. really weird. Anyway, thank you again for your suggestions, I really appreciate the help!
  3. @jaslion Yeah, unfortunately I have tried this to no avail. :(
  4. @ShrimpBrime Hmm, haven't tried this yet, but maybe it will give me a lead. Thanks m8!
  5. ***********************************UPDATE!!************************* >Stripped the rig down to barebones. I only hooked up the necessary components needed, I even removed the M.2 drive. >**DIMM 1**Tried booting the first time and nothing, no display at all. >Moved ram to **DIMM2** booted, it was stuck on the screen before booting. >Tried the other stick of ram. >**DIMM 1** booted and stuck on the screen again. >Moved to **DIMM2** booted, stuck on screen once again. >Brain explodes...lol. I'm outta ideas now. This is the craziest thing thats happened to me while performing a simple lighting task. Hopefully Asus manufacturer warranty will cover this. Thank you all for the help and if you happen to think of anything just chime in! I'll keep you all updated on what happens.
  6. @Caroline After I installed the components (Corsair Commander Pro/Lighting Node Pro/RGB Hub) and saw that it wasn't working initially, I took them out and tried but to no avail. Yes I had my PC disconnected from all power sources before I worked on it initially.
  7. @ShrimpBrime Taking it apart again down to the bones. Will post updates!
  8. @jaslion I've checked all cables, taken the mb out and put back in (unfortunately I love making more work on myself and didn't test outside the case lol.). Yes I've tried monitor to GPU, and MB itself (even though I don't have a APU/CPU) but just thought I'd try everything. I even tried using HDMI and not DSP(display cable) yet to no avail I suppose I can take the MB out again and test outside the case. Thank you for the suggestion!
  9. @Alireza That's reassuring to hear. I hope Asus will help out with this and me hooking this up didn't void some warranty through them. Yeah you maybe right on the power cycle thing, because I mean I can't think of anything that I would've done to have caused the system to short in anyway, as I build on wood table using rubber mats. Welp, only thing to do now is call customer service I suppose. Thank you again for your insight.
  10. @Voluspa The commander came with Sata power cable and a USB 2.0 cable. I plugged the commanders USB 2.0 into the only USB 2.0 plug-in directly on the MB.
  11. No I have yet to contact Asus about the issue. I was going to do all the trouble shooting I could as well as reaching out to the community to see if anyone knows what the problem may be. Unfortunately, I figured this...However, what I don't understand is why? what happened? It couldn't have been anything that I have done right? I'm filled with nothing but confusion at this point. but thank you for your reply @Alireza. You wouldn't happen to know if this sort of thing would be covered under manufacturer warranty would you m8?
  12. PC has been running perfectly. Decided to add a Corsair Commander Pro/ Corsair Lighting Node/ Corsair RGB Hub to the build to properly light the Corsair fans. Whenever I got everything put back together I proceeded to turn on the PC, however it was stuck on the UEFI screen (Press F2 or DELETE) but couldn't get into UEFI or past this point....WTH... I then decided to unplug everything I just installed into the PC, go to boot...NOTHING!! I then took the motherboard completely out, and unplugged the CMOS battery (My mb doesn't have the normal press-in battery). I also jumped the CLRCMOS posts. Hooked everything back up and NOT A SINGLE THING, Not even the screen I was presented in the very beginning, it's completely black now. Tried flashing BIOS via USB (since I can't use the EZ Flash, due to not being able to get into UEFI) waited 30 mins, and the green light is still on? Last time I checked flashing a BIOS doesn't take any longer than 10-15 minutes... Wait an hour, green light still on. Manuel says if it stuck on this, turn on PC and should reset the process..... and thats where I'm at currently. I've checked all cables and everything. Like I said, everything was running perfectly until I put this Sh*t in here. I really hope you guys might have a solution as to what the hell is going on with my rig. Note: Keyboard/Mouse/ Fans/ MB light is green like everything is ok. All components are 6mo. old.....
