im in usd, i do plan on eventually getting to Pcie gen 4 but thats not for at least a year

Is there a specific reason you went with all B550 boards over the X570 ones?

Any recommendations? Im in the 250$ dollar range, gonna be running a 3080 and 2 m.2 drives as well

Hey guys, im gonna be doing a brand new build with the ryzen 5800x, and an asus 570-x tuf motherboard. Do i need to update the bios on the mobo before installing the CPU?

The memory is 3000, and I’m pretty good at setting up the case for airflow IMO. I appreciate the advice. Is there a specific 850 supply you’d recommend for efficiency ?

I just did some research on it and it looks pretty good. I was looking at going for the 550 (that’s with sales tax here) i9-10900k but any idea which of the AMD is gonna be the most similar? I know prices aren’t out yet

I’ve used intel in my previous two builds(both are about four years old at this point) so I’m pretty unfamiliar with AMD. I was very curious when nvidia announced RTX is amd gonna have something similar?

I planned on building this early 2021. I will mostly use this for gaming, the others are just side hobbies so they don’t take priority.
