  1. Fans are clean and unobstructed. I definitely expect high temps, but that high? Yeah sure, but I am quite happy with the overall performance/quality for my use and fully aware that the cooling system is far from ideal. The question is if that behavior is common for all units or maybe be something exacerbated on mine
  2. Hi everyone, how are u doing? So I have a 2018 Nitro 5(i5 8300h, 1050) and when I am Playing CS:GO (low settings, fhd, 200 fps) my CPU is hitting 95C and the GPU 80C even with laptop in a stand with fans set to max. Web browsing temps are 70C/60C. CPU is undervolted with -0,130V Is that a symptom of bad thermal paste? Or before committing to a repaste I should look on other stuff too? Tks
  3. Thanks for everyone who replied! It's interesting to see, I was expecting more controversy around the DRAM Vs DRAMless. I will be on the lookout at Black Friday for deals on SSDs then Best
  4. Hi everyone, what's up? So I have a 2018 Nitro 5 (I5 8300h, 1050) which I am not planning to replace anytime soon, it shipped with an 1TB HDD and I immediately added a SATA 240GB M.2 WD Green (DRAM less) SSD. It's working okay but I can't have all my data on it. My question would be: Will I notice a difference in day to day performance upgrading to a Adata P5 (DRAM&NVME)? Or will only be a matter of the numbers in sintetic loads? The P5 is a suggestion, I saw some good prices on it, but I am open to other suggestions too I use my computer for light gaming, coding and some office tasks.
  5. Hi I recently bought a second hand Linksys AC1200 (EA6200-2014 model) to use together with my ISP router. I connect the Linksys using an Static IP, DHCP disabled trough LAN and my 5ghz network and wired works perfectly, reaching my ISP 350mbps download. But on the 2,4ghz I am getting 1-5mbps down with 20-25mbps upload (makes no sense to me), like 1-2m (3-6ft) from the router. I already tried the usual: Firmware upgrade Channel change and a few more things, but same results. There are no interference sources near the router and very few other wirelles networks close to it, on my ISP router i get 30-40mbps on the 2,4ghz 4m away from the router with easy. Tested on my laptop and two android phones, same results. Any sugestions? Or this may be a hardware issue? Best regards
