  1. My pc runs at around 42c to 60c idle. It's usually around the 42 43 mark doesn't deviate but it does spike sometimes for a second. I know it is within range but it doesn't seem like temperatures you would get from an AIO I do have a hotter ambient temperature at around 80 to 83 F. Anyone have any insight or suggestions? Asus B550 F gaming Ryzen 5 5600X NZXT X63C 4 x 8 Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz Corsair 5000D Airflow Corsair RM850X Evga GTX 1080 TI 6 fans (3 exhaust, 3 intake) 2 exhaust fans are on the radiator for the AIO and the AIO is mounted to the top of the case
  2. My cpu is idling around 45 to 48 c which isn't bad or abnormal however I am running an NZXT x63. I would understand those temps with a stock cooler and while it doesn't cause any issues while gaming these temperatures don't seem normal to me. I am running an NZXT H510 case and thinking it may be a possibility that it may be choking because the case. I have the AIO radiator at the front of the case with 2 nzxt fans on the case with the radiator on the fans in a pull configuration. The two fans in the back also NZXT are in a push configuration. Any suggestions are welcome.
  3. Bellow I have attached my troubleshooting process to determine the root cause of the issue. I am posting it here because maybe it will help someone else in a similar situation. It seems like a lot but this can all be done in 3 to 4 hours. Troubleshooting Process.pdf
  4. I ran chkdsk on all my drives and no issue however my keyboard was being strange after I restarted and I read somewhere that external devices can cause this as well I will get my hands on a keyboard and see if things change in the meantime I do have a bios update and I will also attempt rollbacks on updates.
  5. I refreshed my pc about a month ago with a 5600x and a new cooler nzxt kraken x63. a day ago When playing Beyond the wire it restarted my pc and did it on ark as well. I checked my thermals and they were normal, I even replicated the crash and did not see any large jumps in temp it stays in a good range under 70c. I used software to check my RAM and it was all good there no issues reported. It left me with 2 options: PSU or software related. I hunted down fixes for software and it didn't work and just decided to do a clean windows install to completely rule out any software issues and it seemed to work. Today around the same time boom it restarts again so it isn't software related. I assume it is the psu its a 750 watt evga 80+ gold semi modular and I got it six years ago. I think maybe with the age and the big jump in power consumption is causing it to fail. I also noticed a sound coming from my pc only when I put it under pressure it never made and I believe it is coming from the power supply but I am not too sure. Anyone care to input any other potential culprits?
  6. I am planning on getting the new AMD 5000 series cpu. I currently have a ryzen 7 1800x. my current mobo is not supported by the 5000 series so I am looking at mobos as well. I am looking at a b550 chipset mobo which is for sure good for the 5000 series cpu but considereing how new tech has been recently I may not get the new cpu until early next year. I want to have the mobo early so I can just pop the cpu in when it comes. my question is does anyone know if I will be able to run the ryzen 1800x with a B550 mobo i know it can run on a B450 mobo not sure about 550?
