    How would I fully reset it?

    Some times on my Dell studio xps 8100 half of my ram is not recognized and when I reseat it and restart it is. But then half of it is hardware reserved. the ram works fine in another motherboard. The image below is my configuration. The sticks are 4 2gig sticks.
