  1. Hi, I have a weird issue with my PC where sometimes it stops functioning correctly. For example I am on the desktop and I can move windows around ect... and i can open say google chrome however it just opens to a white screen. I then cant close it. Going to Start and selecting power options like Shut Down or Restart dont do anything. Monitoring software like HWinfo stops updating new information and freezes on current figures, whereas fan speed/temps/clock speeds are normally updating. I have to restart via the restart button on my PC case and then the boot process takes a long time. If I am on photoshop brush tools cant drag they can only do a single select on the spot, whereas you can normally drag and get a trail of it. I have had the issue happen so far when; closing Black ops cold war / closing Assassins Creed Valhalla / In the middle of doing some photo editing on Photoshop. Any Help would be appreciated, Thanks PC Specs; CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120V VER.2 76 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Mobo: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB Video Card RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Boot Drive: Samsung 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Main Drive: Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive Reserve Drive: Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive PSU: Corsair CXM 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Case: Cooler Master MasterBox 5 ATX Mid Tower Case

  3. Cheers for the suggestions guys, will have a look through On a bit of a rollercoaster trying to build a cheap home PC whilst also upgrading my PC with Ryzen 5000 series and bits. Two ends of the spectrum haha
  4. Complete oversight on my part there haha, did not even cross my mind
  5. Hi all I have been tasked with building a home PC for the Father in-law to use as his current one is getting a little slow and he wants something a little faster. I have actually found I have struggled more with this as I normally am putting together gaming PC's for myself and the budget is much more. I have put 2 build together (Pictured below) just wanted to get thoughts and suggestions. Budget (including currency): £400 - £450 Country: England Usage: General Home PC use and some light photo editing These builds are practically the same other than one has a AMD APU and the other a Zen 2 CPU. I just want to make sure the PC lives upto his expectations.
  6. Hi guys, I am soon going to move to team red and I am get a Zen 3 AMD CPU (Moving from my Current Intel sytstem). I currently have a Coolermaster Seidon 120V and intend to use that as my cooling solution as its still in fully working order and does a great job of cooling. The issue I am having is sourcing the AM4 adapter bracket that I need to purchase in order to use it. Thus far I have found ones that have crazy shipping prices like £35 and £99 for a £6 bracket. I am UK based and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere I could find one that is cheap and has fair shipping prices ? Thanks
  7. I Play at 1080p, for now I have put FPS caps on to try avoid it pushing to much, and this seems to help a little. I was looking at a Ryzen 7 3700X however the Zen 3 stuff is looking pretty good right now, so may hang out for now to see how they stack up
  8. Thanks guys, I thought as much but wanted to make sure I was not missing something before going and spending the money on a new CPU/Mobo/ I was looking at a Ryzen 7 3700x to give further upgrade scope down the line
  9. When playing games such as Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Divsion 2, Modern Warefare my i5 7600k seems to be hitting 100% usage, this can then cause my game to have a temp freeze as my system bottlenecks and I loose all framerate. I completed a Userbenchmark and the result for my CPU is below. Is this normal for my CPU to be performing in this way ? I have posted my Rig below, Please note my GTX 1070 is Overclocked to help push extra frames. This issue was happening before and after the GPU overclock. The issue was also present before and after having the XMP profile enabled in the BIOS. Running Win 10 Pro x64 / Version - 10.0.19041 Build 19041 BIOS Version - American Megatrends Inc. B.C0, 05/07/2018 (Both I believe to be upto date) Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
