Hello!
I'm planning on building a new rig for myself. The one I have right now is a i7-8086K, RTX 2080, 32GB DDR (3200MHz), 2x SATA SSD's, 1x HDD (7200RPM), 800W PSU.
Monitor resolution is 1440p,
This is the build list:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 (360mm)
Motherboard: MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi Arsenal
RAM: 4x 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz (32GB total)
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 + old drives
GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 3080 (I'm going to use the old RTX 2080 until I get the new card)
PSU: Help me choose a good quality PSU (Think a 800-850W PSU would be enough?)
Case: I was thinking of buying Fractal Design Define C, but I'm not sure how well it fits the 360mm rad. I've read that it only can house the 360mm rad front of the case and you might need to remove the HDD bracket to fit it. So I'm not sure if this is the right pick. I want a mid tower case that has no side window and would be nice if it was with foam to make it more silent.
Case fans: Noctua NF-S12B redux-1200 (1x exhaust and 3x top or front of the case + 3x rad fans) (If you have any other ideas on the fans I'm all ears. I want them to be as silent as possible)
I would be really happy if you guys would give me some ideas on some of the parts (PSU, Case, Fans) and overall what do you think of the parts list. Should I change something out?
Thank you!
