  1. Thanks, much appreciated. The sticks appear fine and are being detected properly. Now that I think about it, when I go back in to BIOS it doesn't seem as though xmp1 is even slected
  2. I recently completed a new build, specs are: Mobo: B550 Mortar Wifi CPU: Ryzen 3600XT GPU: RTX 2060 RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200MHz All is fine bar the memory speed. It will not exceed 2133MHz and I've tried everything. BIOS reads the memory fine and even shows that it is capable of 3200MHz. I have selected the correct XMP profiles, have also gone into F7 advanced and changed the settings from auto and then manually input the DRAM frequency values myself. I have even reset CMOS. Nothing changes though, I previously posted another topic with screenshots here which may be helpful to look at. I have now attached new screenshots of changes I've made. What is really annoying me in particular is the fact that although I change the DRAM voltage to 1.35 it still shows as 1.2 on the XMP profile. I have no idea why it doesn't change because as per screenshots I am changing it advanced settings. Someone replied yesterday to tell me to check if the memory I have is compatible with my board. So I went over to the MSI mobo support page and entered the product number and it's not there. Is it really just THAT simple? BIOS can clearly see the memory and what it's capability is but because it's technically not on the list of compatible memory it won't go beyond 21323MHz? I am about to return my current memory and buy a new one that is on the list of compatible components on the mobo support page, but before I do I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time. If anyone could help I would very greatly appreciate it. I have pretty limited knowledge about this stuff (probably already obvious) and I hope I'm not missing an obvious issue. Thank you in advance
  3. I posted a thread earlier here as I can't get my RAM to 3200MHz from 2133MHz. I checked the MSI motherboard support page here and searched my RAM sticks product code which is CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 and it doesn't show up. Could this be the source of my problem?
  4. I tried this, didn't work. It saved all my windows settings though, is that normal?
  5. Could the voltage be playing any part in the issues I'm experiencing with memory?
  6. Sorry dude but I'm utterly clueless, where did you see that? Can I just change it?
  7. I can't see where I can do that from the list of advanced menu options in BIOS. Can you see from the screenshot?
  8. Sorry but most of that goes over my head...I wonder if the CPU is a bit hot though as the liquid cooler I used had pre applied thermal paste but I don't know if some smudged off elsewhere and didn't give full coverage across the top of the CPU
