Hello! And thank you in advance for all the help!
My PC was in a state where the Mobo was receiving power but none of my usb ports were working. After forcing a restart and navigating to the device manager I saw "USB xSCI compliant host controller" has an error code 10. I've tried Uninstalling and reinstalling several times but no dice in that front. To add to this, I attempted to reset the CMOS battery because I had a power surge warning during boot up as well. That didn't fix anything either. As I have an ASUS MoBo I read that turning off the Anti surge protection should clear up the surge issue, seeing as how ASUS is known to over tune their anti surge just a tad. But when I disable the Anti surge, the pc wont boot up completely, not until I reset the CMOS again. I'm wondering if my PSU is on its way out, but before I fork out around $100 or so, I wanted to see if anyone here may have a bit more insight... thank you!
(Edit) Oops almost forgot my specs!
