  1. i've played CS:GO all day and leave it idle for a few minutes, the gpu go as high as 60 degrees, it's now 50 though. i also tried to stress test my laptop by running far cry 3 for more than an hour, the temps peaked at 68 degrees and won't go any higher.
  2. i didn't really play Minecraft so that's okay with me, but what about other games? the other games have even lower usage on CPU and GPU. i can't see temps on both task manager and radeon settings, probably because windows has optimized the GPU enough not to overheat. but if i put stress on the GPU for a long time, it doesn't really feel that warm either.
  3. so i have an R5 M230, it should be capable of playing Minecraft and CSGO, right? no. everytime i booted up a game the task manager only reports around 30% GPU usage, and i got some real bad framerates below 60. i tried turning VSync on and off, when it's off it usually gave me terrible framerates (12-24) but when it's on it's pretty moderate (29-50). My Monitor is 60Hz and it's a laptop, it doesn't have any bottlenecks because my CPU usage is always 50%-70% and on every heavy gaming sessions the Laptop didn't even get that warm. for some reason Arma 3 runs smoothly even though it's more demanding than these games. Minecraft is the worst one since it only runs at like 12 FPS. Here's my full spec: Lenovo G40-70 i3 4030U R5 M230 2GB 4GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 1366x768 60Hz monitor 128GB Sata SSD I've been considering to upgrade my RAM, i know it's a good idea. But i still want to know how to fix this GPU issue first before upgrading my RAM. Sorry for bad english, I don't live in english speaking countries. btw here's an image of it on Far Cry 3, i'm sorry i had to use my phone's camera because apparently PrintScreen refuses to work.
