  1. I recently bought and build a new system. Ever since i feel like even though it should perform top tier, it does not. I mainly see this while playing games and having applications like chrome, discord or the likes open and am switching between windows. For example, im playing Hearthstone and watching a youtube video, tab out to click a new video and when i return to hearthstone i get stutters. Even if i dont switch again the stutter remain. Those are happening in the game but also the video plackback feels unright. Even if i do not multitask and just play games I get the feeling of performance issuses throughout my sessions. While working (mainly excel and some adobe cloud products) i do not feel like the system does stutter or throttle down. OS: Win 11 Home Version 22H2 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Mainboard: ASRock B650E GPU: Radeon RX 6950XT XFX MERC Back PSU: 850 Watt Seasonic Prime GX 80+Gold RAM: 32Gb (2x16) G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6000 (CL 36-36-36-96) CPU-Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 Bios Version: 1.03 When i first set it up i did try running my ram on 6000 but that resulted in crashes (i prob. did something wrong) i resetted to default since then. Its running on 4800 for now. I did not tweak anything in the amd software. My GPU is running at ~50°C never saw it above 70. My CPU is running at ~43°C in idle and max around 80 Any help would be appreciated!
  2. Hey Guys, since a couple of days my computer greets me with a beep code when starting up. There are 3 long and 3 short codes, which repeat 3 times, after that my pc starts up just fine. 64 Bit Windows 10; Thimphu 2B4B; Intel Core i7-6700K; 16 GB Corsair Vengance; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 BIOS Version AMI A0.13, 22/04/2016 I tried googling for any beep codes for my pc or motherboard but cant find any. Mostly even cant find anything that matches ---...---...---... . Any help really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. so just connecting both machines to the same monitor and switching sources? i can wrap my head around a way to connect my macbook to two monitors at a time. PC is no problem
  4. How are transfering speeds with a NAS? I usually deal with files around the 10Gb mark so one switch for usb peripherals and a second one for displays? if so any product recomendations for a hdmi/dp switch that would work with a macbook? (i would love to be able to connect my macbook to two monitors)
  5. Budget: <1000€ Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: DaVinci Resolved, Photoshop, After Effects; Video Editing, File Sharing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): existing parts: Latest Macbook Pro (Mid-Tier specs), Gaming PC (i7 6700k, 32Gb DDR4 RAM, GTX 1080), AOC 144hz 1080p Monitor (HDMI and DisplayPort), Mouse, Keyboard and Headset. needed peripherals: new main Moinitor (1440p 144hz good for both gaming and editing) Hey everyone, im planing a new workstation mainly for editing videos and pictures at home and on the go. As i encountered more and more problems editing on my pc i switched to editing on my macbook which works astoundingly well. When i´m at home im ether recording videos on my pc or am editing pictures on it, but have to transfer my files to my macbook to finish production. I would like to have a workstation where i can plug in my macbook with as few as possible cables and be good to go. Therefore i need some sort of wired connection between my pc and my macbook for filesharing and preferably some form of "switch" for my peripherals to connect my mouse, keyboard, headset and monitor to either system by pressing just a button. If you have any ideas for some products that might fit my plans, please share them with me. I´d love a good monitor which i can use for both gaming and editing and this probably will be the main factor for the budget. For the connection between the devices i thought about some sort of hub that has mutiple switches (atleast 3 usb and some form of display connection). Thanks in advance
