My friend recently gave me his old broken Xbox controller. He apparently got so mad one day and threw it at a wall. I had some spare xbox controller parts but once I opened this new controller I saw there was no physical issues whatsoever. I first thought the board that controls the buttons and stuff was broken but I tested it and it works perfectly. Once i tried to test the joystick board with any other asembly i had, the controller never powered on. The controller only powered on if I used a different controller joystick board. What is causing this issue? Are there any common issues that occur with throwing and that board? I cant seem to find anyone experiencing the same thing. Thankyou for your help!

I have a decent HP omen prebuilt with a 1070. I'm thinking of upgrading it but nvidia recommends a 600w psu and I only have a 500w hp bronze efficiency PSU. I have an i7 8700, z370 mobo, 16gb corsair vengence rgb, intel optaine, 2 HDD's, and a disk drive. Linus saw my power supply in secret shopper and said it was alright. I have no idea if my 500w (470w on the 12v rails) psu would die if I bought it. My pc model is an HP OMEN 880-139. Thankyou for your help.

No, that why I said I couldn't overclock in omen command center. I dont know why, it's a strange occurence.

Hi, I own an HP OMEN 880-139 and I bought some new corsair vengeance rgb 3200mhz sticks. They look really nice but they only run at 2133mhz. HP showed off something called omen command centre and said you can overclock ram, but that program is useless and doesn't do allow me to oc my ram. When I use something like intel extreme tuning utility and click xmp, the pc fails to Post.How can I successfully overclock the ram without my pc failing? my pc does have XMP compatible hardware like an i7 8700. I also tried to manually set the speed and latency's but that also doesnt work.Thankyou for your help. The ram sticks I have are 3200mhz cl18 I'm fairly sure. My old ram was 2400mhz cl17.

I don't think it's worth it. You can probably find a different GPU that will do you better than a 750ti, like a 1050. If you don't feel like spending 50 bucks you can probably find an old 750ti for literall pennies. Overall wouldn't be worth it to save that thing, you can probably recycle that and just buy something better. The only good thing I can say about trying to fix that is because it's cheap as hell you can probably learn how to fix it but it'll still be time consuming and maybe dangerous.

Hey lads, I have an HP OMEN 880-139 and I really need someone's help. My HP omen 880 comes stock with a shitty cpu cooler that you can see in Linus's PC secret shopper series. My CPU can get up to 90 degrees c under heavily load. I was thinking about upgrading the cooler but companies like hp and Noctua don't even know if any other cooler will work. Some people say I should be fine while others say the backplate may be glued and I won't be able to install a new one. Can someone please help me find out if I can install the noctua NHI9i? I also heard that there may be B.I.O.S issues if install a new cooler. The cooler I'm interested in is the Noctua NHL9i. The CPU I currently have is an 8700 non k variant.
